Leonora wasn't exactly thrilled that Micha had wanted her to lead the way down to Drakborough. The girl, though she wasn't a stranger to the town, hadn't been there enough times to know her way around. Furthermore, she had wanted to go there to get away from the eyes of her peers, and if she was the girl leading the way then people's attention would be more on her than on Micha. Still, Leonora didn't want to test the limits of the Slytherin's kindness or her lack of scrutiny. She had simply smiled and nodded and led the way like she was asked.
Fortunately, the trip down was rather free of suspicion. Since the Gryffindor was wearing Micha's robe, which fit her much better than her old one, her boys' uniform was out of sight. The only looks she received hadn't been looks of suspicion, but glances from male students who hadn't seen her hadn't around before. Leonora didn't know how to feel about these guys checking her out. Obviously, due to her true identity, she found it uncomfortable, but a part of her almost found it flattering.
At least, she thought with a smile, if she had to be a girl then she was a pretty girl.
Leonora led Micha to the Town Square, which wasn't as full of people as she would've thought. A cold wind blew through the streets, to which the girl responded by hugging herself for warmth. It seemed nobody was outside because it was December and the weather was only a bit above freezing. Even across the ocean, Leonora wouldn't have been able to tell the place apart from Salem if the town hadn't been built in the Middle Ages. The climate, at least during the winter, was still the same.
Her arms wrapped around herself, she continued to lead Micha towards a row of shops. "Oh look," Leonora said, pointing to a sign outside one of the shops. 'Winter's Witches' Wardrobe' was written on it. "Let's go check in there." She walked inside, motioning for her friend to follow. It was warm, within, with just as Old World an interior as the outside. The place seemed to be made from old mud and brick, and had a strong smell inside of burnt wood. The place was about the size of a house, and had probably served as one at some point.
There were mirrors just about everywhere, and some of the rooms of the house were closed with signs saying 'For Privacy.' As Leonora looked around, she noticed a rather slender woman in a white witch's hat and robe approaching her with a beaming smile on her face. "Hello girls," she said with a very smooth voice, "are you here to try on some new robes? Maybe some nice dresses?" Though her smile never went away, her eyes were clearly analyzing Leonora's style, and the girl could tell that this witch couldn't wait to put her into something nicer.
