Verity let Ryo haul her away from the second seemingly menacing person she had met that day. "I really think I need a creepy people personality sensor, 'twould make my life so much easier."
Verity processed a thought in her mind. "Hey Ryo, why don't you use magic?"

No, you just need common sense. The words hit Verity like ice had been shoved down her back. Her nerves stood on their ends, and for the first time that day, the voice murmured. What common sense? Who's common sense would she choose?
Verity felt reminded of the fact that even though back home was painful, it kept her isolated from people who didn't know. The voice nudged her mind again.
"Ryo, you can go with the girl." Verity made sure her voice didn't waver, or release any emotion that wasn't her own. "I'm okay finding my own way around."
For once, Verity didn't have a flood of emotions on her face. The constant expresions and verbal diarrhea weren't there to distract anybody from the way she really looked. Her skin was pasty and dry, her hair was lank, and as expressive as the grey eyes could be, they were dull.

Alexandria watched the volley of words between the students. Upon the arrival of the skateboarding girl, Alexandria smirked. It would figure, there had to be a klutz somewhere, but she did not seem a typical blonde. Well, well, well. Three women all together, all knew Spanish. The skateboarder seemed to berate the newest arrival. A smirk smeared itself across Alexandria's face like that of a well-drunk fang-bearing undead. Infighting; lovely. She lowered the her lids so her crimson eyes were half-covered; it could have been mistaken for sleep on another, but on her it was lust. Not sexual lust, but lust all the same.
Hmm, so the girl was Ravenclaw. Interesting. Alexandria was about to make her way back down when another, a fourth, entered the little group. Slytherin. Dark. Brooding. "Oh, I like this..." Alexandria whispered to herself, and only herself. She waited for the brooding child to finish and did indeed make her way down the stairs. She watched as the skateboarder huddled the fourth student into a corner area and smiled. Interesting, to say the least. Two Slytherins, two blonds. Only house not represented was Hufflepuff. Very interesting indeed.
Finally, Alexandria descended the stairs like a grand entryway to the most high of masquerade balls. She strode, her hips swaying seductively, over to the crazed-looking Snake and yanked him off the floor, her right hand wrapping around his right upper arm. She smiled hungrily and whispered as seductively as humanly possible, and then some, into his ear. Her delicate lips brushed his earlobe as she spoke. "I would love to talk with you later. Send me a note." She slipped a piece of enchanted parchment into the Snake's pocket. He could write something on it, and her piece would burn against her skin until she opened it, and vice versa. She turned then to the very lost looking little girl.
"Dear, dear, dear... Do not say we insane have no common sense. It is called common sense for the fact that, ideally, it is common. The one named Mikey is right in telling you to gain some." Alexandria smiled darkly to the Ravenclaw and slid her eyes to the other three. "It seems two are otherwise occupied... Little dear, I am of Ravenclaw. I will gladly show you the way..." Alexandria smiled politely at Verity, entirely ignoring the Japanese creature.
Alexandria moved fast enough that there was no way Verity would have seen it, but not enough to disturb the poor girl. She simply stood in front of Verity, her hands clasped politely in front of her lower abdomen. She reached out, her long thin fingers extended toward the girl just barely, her left hand now lifted to chest level and extended about a foot outward from her high chest, her black hair spilling over her shoulder.

Ryo was wanting to answer Verity's question but far too much had now happened for it to seem worth it. Mikey and Shado seemed to have a connection. The boy sighed, so much trouble. The girl watching from the shadows had ignored him. He wasn't sure if he should be insulted or relieved.
"Umm, I think I'll stay with you Verity." The boy answered. He sighed again and said, "What is your interest in my friend?"
Ryo knew he would probably be ignored but he should try speaking to her. It was a shame the dark haired girl oozed with such dark magic because in truth Ryo found her very attractive. It was probably better however because she seemed to take to Shado and he could do without an insane girlfriend. Still, he found a strange if not sick attraction to her demented personality.

Verity Blacklace observed the ivory hand held out to her. The reasonable logical side of her mind was currently a big mess, with too many opinions for her own sake, so thinking over any action was impossible. She was tired, and she still had to unpack and everything.
As she decided what to do, the image Verity saw flickered to an old memory. No time to think about the annoying nurse, move!
"Don't worry about me, dude." Verity sighed, taking the woman's hand. "She just wants to show me where the Ravenclaw common room is."

Ryo welled up with rage as Verity took the mysterious girl's hand. He had the impulse of pulling Verity's hand away from Alexandria's. He took a step forward and then stopped himself. Verity trusted her at least to a degree and she was just showing her around. The boy felt foolish for letting it bother him and worst of all he had no idea why such a thing would annoy him.
Ryo took a moment to calm down before saying, "Alright Verity, have fun finding your room. I guess I'll have Mikey show me to mine."

Alexandria noticed the shift and tension in the Japanese boy's demeanor. Interesting. She mulled over this information in her mind for a brief moment, and gave a slow, mysterious smile to the boy. He seemed smart enough to stay away, but Alexandria couldn't help but try. "I am sorry to steal you, hm...company away from you. I feel the need to make it up to you. Send me an owl and I would be happily obliged to keep company with you." Alexandria's blood red lips played slowly into another small smile. He seemed interesting enough.
Alexandria felt the cool pale skin of the girl's - no, Verity's - hand slip into hers. She was so very thin, so very breakable. Alexandria took in a slow, unnoticed breath, taking in the scents around her and shifting her almost unsettling gaze back to the new Ravenclaw. Her crimson eyes peered out clearly from her pale, pale skin, unhidden behind hair now. She gave a small smile, meant to be somewhat friendly, and tugged lightly on Verity's hand.
"It's this way. Not too far, but up rather a long flight of stairs. It's well-hidden from other dormitories..." Alexandria shot a short glance to the other students. Two snakes, one Gryffindor. That could be trouble under any other circumstance, but that particular Gryffindor appeared to have everything under control. Alexandria knew better than to even attempt friendship with that one. She was too volatile, too rough. A good tumbling could polish any rock but that one. Far, far too rough. Probably a good thing for her self-conservation.
Alexandria smiled again, the touch of it never reaching her cold, red eyes. It was rather startling in her pale-skinned face. She looked disapprovingly at the girl's luggage and slipped her left hand into a hidden pocket. She slid her wand out in a single fluid movement and flicked it surreptitiously at the carrying devices. They levitated, she put her wand away, and started walking forward. She slid her right hand down, still gently clasping the gi- - Verity's hand in her own. The bags lifted and hovered behind the two girls. "Whenever you're ready, dear." A smile, and Alexandria had all the patience in the world.

Verity watched as the woman took out her wand, moving her hand so sinously that Verity wondered if the woman had been a dancer. Her luggage levitated in the air at the command of the wand, and Verity felt relief at no longer looking towards the prospect of carrying the heavy bags that constantly slipped from her grasp.
Still holding the girls hand, Verity started walking towards the castle with her. "I don't even know what you're called, what's your name? My name's Verity by the way. Have you been here long?" She closed her mouth when she realized that maybe the girl wouldn't like her questions.

The boy was taken aback by her apology. "Oh, umm thanks. I'll keep the offer in mind."
Ryo was unsure of whether to send her an owl or not. She seemed interesting on the one hand, but on the other he had no idea what she was capable of or what interest she had in him.
