He took a moment to take in the features of the dark wizards before him. It was strange that people so evil could appear fairly normal. The names weren't familiar, something he would have to change with countless hours in the library and pestering the headmaster.
Hearing the question, Ryo replied, "Dark wizards are ambitious wizards who have made bad choices that have turned them into evil people. Dark wizards can use any spell they please but probably have an affinity for the use of the Unforgivables. The dark arts can lead someone down a dark path because they are spells designed to do such damage to a wizard that a wizard using them would have to either be due to emotional or situational events that push them to feel the need to have revenge or they have lost their morals completely. Also, dark arts are not accepted spells for use in civilized society so just by using them the wizard in question declares a desire to disrupt society."

Phugsius raised his hand, "They also tend to associate more with evil creatures like Vampires and Werewolves. They usually just use them as pawns, but some may even have full partnerships with them, or so I've heard"

The Ravenclaw was quiet for a bit, taking in all that there was to hear from the class. There was not much to be said apart from what he had read in books about the individuals the professor mentioned, but despite that, The Ravenclaw had yet to hear one of the most important things to contribute. He rose from his seat, when all commentary fell silent, with the good Professor still waiting for student feedback. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he began.
"In some aspects, these dark wizards are the most dangerous creatures of the night. Out of all the subjects discussed here so far, the populace of students here face a greater likelihood of turning to the use of dark magic than they ever would getting bitten by some night stalker. After all, there's a vast selection of books on the subject matter in the library, one only has to be curious at first before they start practicing on rats, and eventually turning their spells on those that would stand in their way. Since these wizards can demonstrate dominance over all creatures and spells, they're not to be taken lightly. Again, any one of us could end up falling down that path of self destruction if we're not careful." with that, Sam smirked softly before sitting back down.
Chika laughed a littel, this was a subject she knew well after all her brother had been killed by a student that became a dark wizard.
" Dark wizards also can come from a warped sense of justice. they could believe what they are doing is right, or that they are casting spells in order as a means to an end that they think is just. I think one has to dig into the dark art a little themselves to defeat such a wizard, I don't know if thats correct though. Also on the mater of how the dark arts turns a person into a dark wizard, spells of the dark arts can seem intriguing to any one but a wizard also has to have the curiosity to try them out. If that curiosity goes to far, one may be temted into darker spells, even into the forbidden spells."
Chika hoped that answer was at least some what right.

kran had ben waiting for the asuro that he know most did not . so when it did not come he had to give it .kran said " some have used a spell not knowing it was dark arts so it whed tar their sole .which as you all may know tars at you r morel which means you will care less what you heart so you will use more dark spells and that will make you a dark wizard."

Halifirien smiled brightly as his class continued to astound him with interesting replies. He had thought that they might name a few spells and make references to them being the worst villians in the world, but what they had answered him with proved that this place was truly a unique establishment. "All of yer answers have been more than satisfactory. Dark wizards tend ta be over-ambitious, misguided, or fueled by vengence when they delve inta the darker magics and usually they cannot save themselves once they've entered." The grey-haired professor paused momentarily before looking over to Ryo.
"However, they aren't able to use every spell available. Dark wizards have trouble or just simply cannot cast a patronus charm, most likely because it is the most powerful form of light magic," continued Forgoil as he looked over the class, "And because of their ties with the dark arts, such wizards are more than likely ta form alliances with the aforementioned creatures. One such case was back in England, when the Angelus Morti had the lycanthrope Fenris Fenrir and several vampires in his employ. Then again the Angelus Morti is a peculiar case, one that is best served if ya ask the Headmaster on the subject." Forgoil gestured at Talon at this point but soon moved on.
"The Dark arts are simple ta learn and because they are so easy they are seductive ta many. It has always been easier ta destroy than ta create, and that analogy is the best way ta describe them. Mr. Nanten brought up the excellent point that these are the things that you should be most afraid of, because ya'll never know if yer friend or someone from class might be studying these in secret. And as for Mrs. Chisama's comment on having ta learn the Dark Arts in order ta defeat a dark wizard..."
The Scotsman paused here for a moment and worded his next sentence very carefully. "Is inadvisible. Yes, an understanding of what the spells can do is one thing but ta actually use them for good is much harder. It's a fine line to tread and usually those that walk it cross over." Clapping his hands once, there was a sudden whoosh and a squadron of paper airplanes flew out from behind his desk. Doing eccentric manuvers, the assignments found their way to the desks of each student. Alright, so he was a bit of a showoff when it came to transfigurations but he had a natural knack for it, even if it never was his best subject.
"Right then, these assignments are very simple. There will be a set of questions and a few casting examples for ya, and completion will earn ya a maximum of 40 points for yer house. Don't stress yourselves out ta much on these: it's just ta see how much ya've learned. And....begin!"
The assignments read as such Name House
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples.
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage?
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body?
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu.
5. List 5 spells that you would use against a Dark Wizard
6. Try using the Patronus Charm. To do this if you haven't before, you must think of your happiest memory and focus on that. Your patronus will then emerge in the form of an animal or another creature, and is possibly your greatest ally against dark magic.

Talon listened to all the answers that the students had to give on the nature of Dark Wizards and found it rather surprising that none of them knew that the Patronus Charm was essentially impossible for the practitioners of the dark arts. Then again, maybe they just didn't know about the spell itself. At the end of the class, however, after Forgoil's speech, Talon applauded and got up from the seat in the back and walked towards the front.
"Excellent, Forgoil, great class," the Headmaster said with pride, before taking one of the assignments and glancing it over. The smile dropped from his face and was replaced with a look that was clearly incredulous. "A Patronus Charm? In class one? Forgoil, that's some pretty extreme magic. You just said a moment ago that it is the most powerful of light magic. That's like asking them to..." He was about to say 'summon fiendfyre', but thought better of it, "...to perform a killing curse, if they were a dark wizard. That requires intense understanding of magical theory!"
Then the smile reappeared, and Talon clasped a hand on Forgoil's shoulder, "which is why I'm sticking around a bit longer. I want to see if anyone manages it." He laughed, and then turned to the class, "The Patronus Charm is extraordinarily powerful. It can be used to expel creatures of dark origin, to the point where the more powerful the Patronus becomes, the less dark of creatures it can expel. For instance, a meager Patronus can send off Dementors, but a truly formed one could even send off a Vampire." He didn't want to hog Forgoil's class, but the Defense teacher was asking his students to do something without any further explanation.
"And it requires a certain type of memory. Getting your first wand or remembering your Christmas presents when you were eight might not help. It's a memory that is so strong that no darkness can touch it, the one thing that you can hold on to when everything's fallen apart and you've hit rock bottom...it's more than a memory, it's hope. The one thing that separates us from them is that we still have it." And with that, Talon resumed sitting in his chair and let the class go on, not wanting to interrupt any further.

Ryo saw the assignment and pulled out his wand and a pen. He would ensure Slytherin would beat Hufflepuff at the very least if it killed him.
He began writing on the paper he was given.
Name : Ryo Kanagawa House : Slytherin
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples. They are all are not permitted on University grounds. They victimize normal wizards. They tend to lean towards doing dark deeds.
4/5
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage? Nosferatu are stronger and faster than vampires. A small trade-off for those abilities is the lack of a human appearance. The advantage is there is little trouble in identification.
5/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body? Assuming it is like other diseases that are carried in the blood stream then it is possible for lycans to have lycan children or infect through sexual contact. Lycanthropy affects the body by inducing the magical equivalent of genetically modifying a wizard's body.
5/5
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu. incendio expulso incarcerous
5/5
5. List 5 spells that you would use against a Dark Wizard protego expelliamous incarcerous stupify incendio
maybe densaugeo if I'm in a silly mood... oh that would make a sixth though.

6. Try using the Patronus Charm. To do this if you haven't before, you must think of your happiest memory and focus on that. Your patronus will then emerge in the form of an animal or another creature, and is possibly your greatest ally against dark magic.
Ryo took a deep breath. He focused on what both Talon and Forgoil had to say about the spell. He was suddenly not as angry about his first friends having left the school. It had given him a lot of free time and in some of that free time he had stumbled across a book with a reference to the spell. Exprecting... no that wasn't right. Expectus? No, not right either. Expecto! Patronus? Maybe, but he would go with patronum as the word nagged at him.
Ryo stood up and shouted, "Expecto patronum!!" A tiny silver flicker emanated from his wand. He frowned and closed his eyes. The boy tried desperately to think of happy thoughts. A memory of his first friends came to mind. "Expecto Patronum!!" A fine silver mist appeared in front of him. Not wanting to fail, Ryo dug around his brain not realizing that at this point he had risen a few centimeters into the air, something that would tend to happen if he was very deep in thought. Of course, it was likely that only someone sitting next to him of in a very near proximity would notice. Finally! He knew instantly his memory would work. It had to!
He readied his wand for the final time and shouted, "Expecto patronum!!" A large silver fox-like creature with three tails emerged. It disappeared within a few moments as the snake passed out.
5/5, for a total of 29/30. A marvelous job Mr. Kanagawa: you've shown that you were able to understand this class and use your own ideas to complete this exercise. Keep up the good work!DERP!

Morgan set right to work, answering each of the questions as carefully as she could, while still being concise.
Morgan Pendragon Ravenclaw
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples.
Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark wizards have several things in common:
Firstly, that they are all described as 'dark' beings, meaning that they are generally considered to be harmful or malicious to wizard kind.
Secondly, Any of the three might have begun life as a perfectly ordinary wizard. What they may be now is only a reflection of what has happened to them, whether by their choice, or forced upon them.
And Finally, Dark wizards, Nosferatu, and Lycanthropes are, unlike some other dark creatures, fully sentient and conscious of their actions. Kappas and graphorns might be dangerous, but they're only animals. Werewolves are certainly dangerous, but the wizard who transforms into one is almost never truly aware of his actions in that state. The fact that these three examples are both capable of making a conscious choice, and aware of that fact make them doubly dangerous.
6/5 for a very explicit answer
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage?
Nosferatu have increased abilities and reflexes. They are stronger and faster than classic Vampires. They are also not outwardly beautiful, resembling rotting corpses more than a being of Dark Beauty. This makes them less seductive than their cousins, and easier to fight, because their grotesque appearance does not enthrall one, like the Vampire's can. Also, having deduced that the creature is indeed Nosferatu, one can immediately begin using the fire spells that all undead are vulnerable to.
5/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body?
I suppose any contact between bodily fluids of human and lycan might transmit the disease. Although, bites may be more effective, as the saliva is mixed directly with the blood of the bitten human. Lycanthropy is both a fast-acting and slow-acting disease. Once transmitted, it will replicate quickly throughout the bloodstream, removing magical talent and replacing it with the improved senses, reflexes, and healing ability Lycans enjoy. However, once all of the blood is tainted, it works a little more slowly, infecting every cell of the victim. Once they transform into a wolf for the first time, what little uninfected tissue they had left becomes a thing of the past.
5/5
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu.
FiendFyre Incendio Flagrate (a well-practiced Patronus might also serve the purpose)
5/5
5. List 5 spells that you would use against a Dark Wizard
6. Try using the Patronus Charm. To do this if you haven't before, you must think of your happiest memory and focus on that. Your patronus will then emerge in the form of an animal or another creature, and is possibly your greatest ally against dark magic.
Morgan needed a happy memory. She focused, thinking of her early days with Tristan, the day she got to Firefox, the day she got Mondleid, but those memories, while very happy, were not precisely the kind she needed. She concentrated...
Lucius. Of course. The day he told her he loved her for the first time, aside from the potion-induced love from Valentine's day. She held that memory very clearly in her mind, until it was all she could think of, and she was filled with a glowing sort of happiness. "Expecto Patronum!" A silvery form shot out of her wand, resolving into a Welsh Green dragon the size of a large bird. It flew in a circle around her once or twice, before vanishing again.
5/5, for a total of 31/30. An outstanding report, but I didn't expect anything less from a Ravenclaw with your reputation. Keep going like this and eventually I'll have to create an advanced class as well.DERP!

1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples. They all prey upon normal wizards and muggles a like to get what they want.
3/5
Phugius was pretty much stumped as to what else the three had in common
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage?
A nosferatu is a more beastial form of the vampire, thus it is quicker and more powerful, but it is impossible for a nosferatu to blend into Wizarding or muggle society. However, being more in touch with it's beastial form, fire will effect it more.
5/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body? Lycanthropy can be transmitted through any manner a normal STD would along with saliva. Lycanthropy takes over blood and gives a human the ability to transform into a stronger version of a wolf. If a wizard is bitten he or she loses their ability to perform magic.
5/5
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu. Incarcerous, Inflamora, Incendio

A patronus charm? This wasn't going to happen. Phugsius just sat down in his seat with his fist in his chin and sent the paper up to the front of the room.
Total score is 23/30. I would've thought that the first question would have been easy for someone that demonstrated as much knowledge as you did in class today. And as for the patronus charm, even if you had tried to do it but were unable to conjure it you still would received credit. Perhaps you are capable of such a charm, but you'll never know until you try.DERP!
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples. They are "Dark" creatures. They often hurt innocent people for fun or what they want. They can start of as normal people.
5/5
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage?
A Nosferatu lacks a human apprence unlike a vampire. Vampires are extramly beautyfull looking where Nosferatu are not. This makes them easy to spot and one can not be distracted by any beauty aspect.
3/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body?
Probably through body fluids in high amounts. Lyccanthropy infects the body by quickly replicating inside of the body and replacing wizarding talents with extrema senses and physical abilities.
5/5
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu.
1).Flagrate 2).incarcerous 3).Incendio

Chika took a deep breath. She had to think happy. All the memories she had had latly were sad. Still there had to be at lest on happy memory. Maybe the time she got her fist gaming system, no. Maybe it was when she passed her etrance exam for middle school, nope not that. Maybe the day she had first found out she was a wizard, wrong again. None of those memories seemed happy enough for this. Chika had to think for a bit, suddenly it came to her.
her happyst memory was when her brother gave her a stuffed bare with a blue ribbon on it. It was their fifth birth day. Chika had givin Osamu a diosuar she made her self with lots of modeling clay, and in reture he presnted her with a small brown stuffed bare with a beautiful blue ribbon around it's neck. Chika rembered that she often wore this ribbon in her hair. " Expecto Patronum" She shouted and a silver light came out of her wand and took the shape of a butterfly about as big as Chika was herself. The butterfly flew around the room and diapered after a bit.
5/5, for a total of 28/30. I was hoping to hear more about the physical attributes that we discussed with regards to the second question.
Post by Felix I. Genero on Jul 26, 2009 21:53:22 GMT -5
The class continued relatively harmless from that point on and Felix was extremely impressed with Firefox’s own Scotsmen. The professor had managed to teach these students more in a single class then Felix had ever learned in a single session. Of course, he could have covered all the material by reading a book in under a minute, but still.
The three figurines Forgoil displayed next were the leaders of the Society of Shadows. The old enemy of all things good. The first and the last Felix had never seen before, and he noted them well. Of course, he had read about their notorious names in more books then Felix bothered to remember, yet to finally put a face to the old enemies of good… it was like a diamond amiss all the coins of knowledge he had gained that day. The middle one was a little different. Not only did Felix recognize the man, he had recently been kidnapped and almost tortured by the shade. A small shiver was sent down Felix’s spine, but from natural reaction, not fear.
The fifteen-year-old was extremely interested in the Dark Wizard question, for it wasn’t back or white. Even the word ‘dark’ is completely relative to the amount of light in any environment. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king, so if the entire world were evil, would a robber be considered ‘good wizard’ while a murdering rapist a ‘dark wizard’? Not wanting to confuse the other students (and in truth too busy thinking about it to answer) Felix let the other classmates give their suggestions before Forgoil continued.
Patronus. Felix couldn’t believe it. The genius had never tried before in his life to cast a basic spell for fighting the dark arts. Why? Felix seriously had no clue why he had never tried before. It was so obvious he must have glanced over it. Felix mindlessly reached up and snatched a paper airplane assignment as it whooshed through the air. Sure enough, the last assignment was to attempt to summon the light magical creature.
Felix glanced around only to see the shocked look on Talon’s face. Felix could totally imagine the headmaster sitting in one of those chairs raising his hand and complaining to Forgoil that it would be too hard for everyone. He did just that, yet he actually gave a quick lesson on how. As soon as Felix remembered that a Patronus is based on happy memories, Felix brightened up so much that if he were a filament in a vacuum, he would be glowing. Felix was optimistic about absolutely everything. Even bound in another dimension with a shade about to torture him to death, Felix had a happy memory from that. For him, the challenge wouldn’t be to find a happy memory, but to choose!
Putting that off for the moment, Felix took out his quill and started the assignment.
Felix I. Genero, Gryffindor fifth-year Defense Against the Dark Arts – Lesson One
[/right]
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples. 1) Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards are generally considered an enemy by the common wizarding world. While this is not true of all lycans or Vampires, the first attribute they share is the masses perception of them. One example of this is in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, where the Vampire is automatically considered a villain without a second thought.
2) Despite nouns used to describe them generally, none of the three are an actual animal or a monster. An animal just follows instinct when it attacks a human, without choice, and never has the consciousness of a rational human. Nosferatu, lycans, and dark wizards are all self-willed beings, not ravenous beast. When they choose to be evil, it’s a conscious choice.
3) The lifestyle. For while the common wizarding human lifestyle is quite docile, the actual lifestyle of a Nosferatu, lycan or dark wizard is generally one of an dark or evil demeanor. In the case of the dark wizard, you wouldn’t even be called a dark wizard if they didn’t do any magic; in the case of a Nosferatu or lycan, both naturally involve killing and wildness. This is not entirely universal, for many lycans can live just as humans, but generally Nosferatu, lycans, and dark wizards live ‘dark’ lifestyles.
6/5
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage? Nosferatu differ from Vampires in appearance, strength, speed and stamina. While their intelligence level is the same, their physically aptitude is much greater then a Vampires. Nosferatu do have a much more grotesque bat-like facial structure, unlike their, generally, beautiful cousins the Vampires. The Nosferatu is more designed to overcome its victim by sheer force, compromising its appearance making it easy to pick out. A vampire on the other hand, at night, is only subtly determinable from your average human who needs a tan. This can be used for your advantage only to survive longer by being able to identify your enemy before it’s upon you and not after it’s already sunk it’s teeth into your neck.
5/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body? As well as being transmitted by the saliva, Lycanthropy can be also transmitted to the offspring of two lycans. Lycanthropy modifies the actual cell structure of a wizard or a muggle. In the case of a wizard, all ability to use magic is lost, except for the unique arts like elementalism. Lycanthropy gives you heightened sense of hearing, smell, endurance, stamina, and supernatural regeneration powers, as if a poorly cast Healing Charm was perpetually cast on them, as well as extended livespands. In a way that science can not explain, Lycanthropy also give the ability for a human to turn into a lupine like mammal, resembling a wolf, at will. In both states, a lycan retains the same intelligence and consciousness as a regular human.

The entire time Felix was writing, his eyes kept on glancing at the words ‘happiest memory’. Happiest memory? As in he had to choose? This was a nightmare. It was a clash of irony, scared to death to find your happiest memory. It couldn’t be a ‘happy memory’ it had to be his ‘happiest’. Everything was his happiest. Life was his happiest memory, all fifteen-years of it.
That was only the first of his thoughts. What would his Patronus even be? Felix might concider taking a leap off the tall tower if it turned out his patronus was something like a red panda or a donkey. Perhaps if his patronus was a fruitfly or something, and it went through it’s life cycle right before his eyes. He was being an idiot and he knew it.
Sighing, Felix just started grinned. Hand firmly gripping his (well, actually Willow’s) wand, the Head Boy closed his eyes. Flashing before the black walls of the inside of his eyelids were images and sounds. Noise and smells. Everything he could think of was… happy? Felix didn’t have a happiest memory, because it had never stopped. This was his happiest memory. Life. From beginning to the end, if it be tomorrow or sixty years from when he sat there. Talking a deep breath, almost sure he broke some record for the biggest smile, Felix, with a swish and a flick shouted out with a voice so full of happiness he wouldn’t be surprised he was floating on a cloud.
“EXPECTO PATRONUM!”
The magic. It was like he was full to the brim and someone just made a crack at the bottom. The magic, the joy, it just flowed right down his hand and through his wand. Slowly opening his eyes… —what?
There was silver monkey in front of Felix.
A patronus was suppose to be a ‘silvery, ethereal, and semi-transparent mist’ yet… the animal that was sitting on Felix desk… was solid. It wasn’t even just any type of monkey… it was a lemur… and not just any type of lemur, this particular specimen was a varecia variegata variegata. A highly endangered species of Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur native only to an isolated southwestern region of Madagascar.
It was solid white… black… and silver. Not ‘magical misty silver’. Silver.
Felix stared dumb fuddled at it. The creature wasn’t even connected to Felix’s wand. His first try ever, he had created a Patronus… that was solid. Not only that, it was animated. The monkey blew a raspberry into the Gryffindor face (thankfully with only magical ‘happy’ saliva) jumped off the desk and out through the window as if it was a ghost.
“BAKAZARU!!!!!!”
For some reason, Felix decided it was appropriate to scream after his patronus with that name, unknowingly having titled his own part of his soul ‘idiot monkey’.
Jumping to his feet, Felix frantically ran up to the window and watched as his patronus literally was skipping away from him. Grabbing a firm grip on his wand, Felix brought back all his happy memory collaboration and said again, “Expecto Patronum!”
…Nothing happened...
“Expecto Patronum!!”
…still… nothing happened.
Dropping his happy thoughts, Felix sat down back in his chair, still half filled with shock.
Then he started to laugh.
His patronus had literally just ran away from him.

he had fund hes harpies memory it was one before hes best friend had be turned in to a vampire. he got hes wand and let the memory take over all thoughts and in the harpies voice he had ever used he almost lafet out "EXPECTO PATRONUM" he know hes patronus whe be a centaur but these one was different it was 10 feet tall in steed of 3. then he realized it had a bow and a quiver of arrow then he was more soled then mist like it normally was.it sout an arowe out the window. he figure it whed go out the window to go after it but before it could he got hes wand and pointed it at the patronus and thought of a very bad memory and it went back in to the wand figured he could ask the professor or the had master after calls why hes patronus looked different . then he sent hes assignment up front and looked around and noticed hes was th emost developed then their ws felix that ran away from hem but hey had ben doing these for about 4 years.
5/5 and a very impressive patronus. I never thought that a centaur could be one, but I stand corrected. Anywho, you have a total score of 29/30: good job with this assignment.DERP!

(Ugh, seems like everybody's shown me up.)
Despite his best efforts, Sam couldn't keep a snicker from escaping as he watched Felix's most likely unreliable patronus make a face at him before cheesing it out the open window. He had a feeling his school life was gonna be pretty interesting with the Head Boy around. Everyone else worked at an expediant pace, completing their papers and nearly all of them exorcised their patronus powers in turn, save for Phugsius. Well, he certainly hoped for the boy's sake that his elemental powers would be enough to save him from unholy monsters. He'd likely have a terrible time with dementors, though. Dementors terrified Sam, so he definitly was put on the alert when he heard of a means to deflect them.
Sam's happiest memory. Well, he wasn't sure if it was his happiest one, but it was recent, as of the past couple of years ago. Back in Hogsmeade, he was just a lowly criminal. Hopping all over Eurasia, taking whatever he liked and selling it to the highest bidder. He was in life for his own self indulgence, nothing more or less. Then, one night he strolled the streets wearing an expensive and rare fur coat and his attention was drawn to a little spectacle at a corner shop. The shopkeep was shooing away a little girl, at least a few years younger than Sam, and she seemed utterly lost. Flustered, her cane tapped at the ground as she was making ready to move on.
The girl was blind.
Sam seemed to lose himself at that moment, with the twitch of an eyelid. The girl didn't look like she had much money, if any at all, but she probably just wanted to enjoy the heat of a building. Coming into the door, he made sure to stay in the shopkeep's blindspot as the husky man continued taking his jabs at the girl. It was to the man's poor fortune that the prank shop was a few stores down, for Sam used his recent purchase (all of which was hidden in his robe) to unleash a riotous calamaty that not even a stampede of monkeys could duplicate, upon the horrid man's shop. Then, he hopped out the window, just in time for the man to step back in.
Sam's idea of a hat trick.
Sam caught up to the girl, and of course had used his 'sticky finger' discount to smuggle another fur coat under the one he was wearing. He took this coat out and draped it around the girl. She flinched, but almost immediately sighed with contentment as she felt the welcome heat grow within the coat. He looked at him, as if to try to scrutinize through her visual stigma to make out the face of this kind, nameless stranger. He then took her by the hand, and treated her to the most expensive wizard resturant in town. Sam never saw her again after that, and all she left him with was a name, a smile, and a soft cold peck on the throat. Her name was Julia.
Snapping himself out of the frosty, nostalgic flashback, Sam whipped out a peice of parchment and began.
Sam Nanten Third Year, Ravenclaw
1. What do Nosferatu, Lycanthropes, and Dark Wizards all have in common? List three examples. - These creatures were all once normal muggles or wizards such as ourselves, most of their activity is held at night, and none are welcome on school grounds.
5/5
2. A Nosferatu is very different from its cousins, the Vampires. What makes a Nosferatu different and if fighting against one how could you use this for your advantage? - Nosferatu are brutally powerful monsters compared to their more attractive counterparts, whom have the advantage of blending in more easily with society. Nosferatu are more beast than man, and are much more weak to fire or even just bright lights than vampires.
5/5
3. Lycanthropy is a disease that is transmitted through the salvia when a victim is bitten. Are there any other ways that lycanthropy can be transmitted? How does lycanthropy exactly infect your body? - One could recieve a blood transfusion from a lycan, or they could be the (perhaps unfortunate) sexual partner to such a creature. The disease affects the blood, and eventually alters them on the genetic level altogether. It is proven that replacing infected blood with clean blood can remove the curse of lycanthropy.
6/5
4. List three spells that you could use to hinder or destroy a Nosferatu. - Lumos maxima, Incendio, reducto (I.E. if one is in a building or cave, and the sun is out, one could destroy a wall to kill a pursuing nosferatu).
5/5 and I am impressed with your knowledge of Lumos maxima.
5. List 5 spells that you would use against a Dark Wizard - Expelliarmus, Stupefy, Finite Incantatum (one has to defend in a fight as well), Obliviate, Locomotor Mortis.
6/5, the extra point for being the only student that has mentioned Finite Incantatum.
6. Try using the Patronus Charm. To do this if you haven't before, you must think of your happiest memory and focus on that. Your patronus will then emerge in the form of an animal or another creature, and is possibly your greatest ally against dark magic.
And so, Sam put his paper down and rose from his seat. He kept the memory fresh in his mind, of how Julia changed him from a self absorbed klepto to someone whom used his talents to somehow better this country. Of course there's not much noblity to be found in stealing, but it might have a need someday. He concentrated, with his wand held out and called out "Expecto PATRONUM!" with gusto. A warm silver light flooded his space, and the light materialized into a dolphin. He smiled at the creature, thrilled that he had made such an accomplishment for his level of magical practice. The playful creature swirled around him and stood up vertically, clapping its fins together and chattering. It then jumped up and then dove down back into the air, disappearing.
Letting out a sigh, Sam wiped a drop of sweat from his brow. This felt good. He noticed the Japanese Slytherin student pass out though, and he rushed over to the boy's aid.
"Are you alright?" he asked, trying to heft the boy to sit up.
5/5 and a most interesting patronus you have Mr. Nanten. You have achieved a total score of 32/30, so congratulations on a job well done.DERP!

The boy was still out of it as he had just been woken up. He slowly turned his head towards the Ravenclaw.
"Nani? Doushita no?" Ryo asked Sam not catching his bewildered expression. He blushed a little as it slowly came to his attention that he had just spoken Japanese to him. "I'm sorry. If I heard you correctly, then yes, I am fine."
