Kat strolled through her entrance into the office she could now call her own. It was quite a defining moment for her really. She stopped herself abruptly and took a breath in. "Wow," she whispered softly smiling. She ran a finger along her oak desk and look up.
Her ceiling was high, large windows came casting down from the top to the ground. Light poured in on this day, and warmed her slightly. The room was bare, as off now. "That'll change.." Kat whispered chuckling to herself. "Professor..Professor," Kat repeated to herself, hardly able to believe it. And of her favorite class when she was in school.
Kat looked down at herself. She certainly did not look like a professor. Baggy olive jeans with a red dragon shooting up the left side and a ruby red shoulder shirt. She quickly grabbed her purple robe from the back of her chair and put it on. That helped..a bit. She couldn't help but laugh out loud at herself.
The sun moved behind a cloud and her mind set changed suddenly. I don't have formal training...not to..teach..I haven't taught anything except quidditch!
Kat's mind flipped over many thoughts. Will I be able to teach them how to defend?
yes..
no..
yes
Kat felt sure she wouldn't make up her mind. The sun came out from behind the clouds again, and she felt better.
"I'd better put the first lesson up," she said turning around. "Ah! A chalkboard!" she exclaimed. "Well, that will have to go....now," Kat said pointing her wand at it. Using good old magic, it transformed from a blackboard, to a muggle white board. A couple markers fell into place as well.
Picking up the green marker, she uncorked it and held it up to the board pausing for a moment. "Professor.."she said chuckling again. She began to write.
