Gwynievere stepped boldly into the hall. Her black boots came to a stop below her well-fitted robe, pausing with Willow arm-hooked at her side.
Her amber eyes looked over the area expectantly.
Only a few students were already there for lunch, a few specks here or there at the various tables.
She grinned and turned to her comrade, carelessly adjusting her silky charcoal black bangs with her free hand. "Now, here we are, Dear Willow," she said merrily, her amber eyes glittering.
She suddenly stopped and put her right hand to her mouth sheepishly. She giggled. "I'm afraid I forgot to ask you what house you're in. I'm in gryffindor myself--griffin-door--how weird of a name is that?--Morgan's in ravenclaw, but I haven't seen her around."
Willow half-walked, was half-dragged, into the feasting hall by a eccentric Gwynievere. Her hair fell infront of her face, and she blew it out of her eyes with a sigh. Her own pale green eyes flicked towards the Ravenclaw table, but she didn't see anyone she knew, not immediately anyway. Then, she looked towards the Slytherin table, searching for Shadow's wild hair and Gwen's silky ebony head. They must not be in yet, she said under her breath.
"Yep, the feasting hall," she said cheerfully. "And Gryffindor too, 'dear'." She said, not quite mockingly. "I haven't see Morgan since October, I just got back, remember?"
ooc- I might have to ditch this roleplay, in case I get killed or something. My character decided to go to the Fenrir Wood, and now she and Sparky are being attacked and molested by Kesterel...xD
bic- Willow rolled her eyes, and shrugged. "I guess so, no one I know is here yet anyway...Which is surprising, I'd figure I'd at least see Felix of something," she murmured, sweeping her pale green eyes across the tables once more. "If Gwen White or Shadonious were here I'd probably sit with them, butttt..." She shrugged again and made a beeline for the table. "Maybe they're still on the lake.." Gwyn is awfully scatter-brained, she thought, smiling as she took a place at the nearly empty gryffindor table. I wonder where Ferris is? she mused.

OOC: Ta-daaaa!
BIC: Food. The joy of a young teenage boy after studying in his common room into the long, long, hours of the night. He had gotten a very small dinner the evening before hand and longed greatly for breakfast. His favorite meal of all time, hands down. As he was growing as most young boys did, food was needed regularly and in great quantities, and for the over ambitious Gryffindor, food was not apriority. Halfway down the stairs Felix looked out a large window to the outside world only to be greeted with the sun near vertical in the sky. The poor kid had slept through breakfast! Still, no classes were missed.
Into the large doors of the Feasting Hall, not many people were there for any meal. Scanning the rows and rows of pew, Felix soon spotted a rare site. Two other Gryffindors he knew! This was a true wonder to behold, without a doubt. Walking up to the older and younger girl, Felix plopped himself next to his other two Housemates.
“Hey Willow! Nice to see you again Gwyn!” Staring at the table Felix tried to consitrate on food to get it to appear. Then he realized that he had completely intruded on their conversation. “Uh, umm… you don’t mind if I sit here, right?” Smiling and not even waiting for an answer, Felix glared back at the rich oak grain in search of his food.
With a silence ‘Pop!’ It appeared! Two fried eggs, over easy, two slices of toast with honeybutter, three strips of fresh bacon and a tall glass of orange juice. Quickly drenching his eggs in seasoning, Felix dug into this breakfast. Realizing that it would look quite odd for him to be eating breakfast at such a time, Felix rolled his eyes not even seeing any odd looks he might be receiving. Through a extremely crunchy bite of bacon, Felix explained. “Oi’ mis’t brek’fist.” It was quite jumbled sentence, but at least it was short.

Willow glanced up at Felix appeared to her left, plopping down in the empty seat. Amused, she shook her head and took a drink of milk from the tall glass sitting infront of her. "Hello, Felix," she replied bemusedly. "No, it's no problem. Gwyn doesn't mind either, do ya Gwyn?" Willow asked, turning to her new friend.
While waiting for Gwyn to reply, she looked back to Felix, and glanced lazily down at his plate when there was a few popping sounds. "Hmm, aren't we hungry? Breakfast for Lunch?" she said quietly.
“Oi’ mis’t brek’fist.”
"Ah," Willow said, nothing more to really say. She was fond of Felix, he was like a brother. Annoying, but noticeable when around, and there was often a big gap in conversations when he wasn't. She twirled her wand in her fingers, then tucked in into her pockets.

Billiant. They didn’t mind. Who would mind him? Well… Felix decided it best not to think of such things, it would be a first but he might just get depressed. No reason to get depressed though at the moment he was with good company! At least he hoped.
Swallowing his bacon, Felix replied to Willow inquiry. “Yeah,” pausing mid sentence to get a piece of bacon out of his teeth with his long tongue. “…I met her mid winter when she first arrived at the hot chocolate thing, when Silvain and I, uh,” Desperate to avoid such topic, Felix just cut his sentence short and took a bite of toast. The conversation was quite dull without him. Thinking of the first thing that Felix though of, he had though to ten things actually, sorting through them he picked a good one.
“What year are you guys? I know Gwyn is in Mo’s year, but aren’t you a first year too? I think the only one at that. Boy, all the Gryffindor seem to be coming out of a jolly hibernation or something from winter, I hadn’t seen not but a glimpse of any other lion all winter! The common rooms were so empty, no one ever came. I could sing in the middle of the night and no one would hear me. Unless they did hear me and were avoiding me on purpose… oh.” Realizing that sudden truth, Felix tried to change the subject. “You just meet Gwyn or did you know her before?”
There was one thing that Felix was good at and it was unfortunately the art of superfluous talking. He was quite good actually, if only it was a national sport or something…

The girls sat down, and Felix hopped over, stuffing his face full of bacon. Okay. So they got there before most of the scavengers plucking away at the myriad of food.
"Hey, Felix," greeted Gwyneviere. Her distracted amber eyes traced and darted along the backs and faces of incoming students.
She subconsciously sized them up and identified the people of interest to her.
Then, Felix said something about singing in the common room in the middle of the night. Gwyneviere blinked. Was she staring off into space? Her head and eyes slowly rotated over to look at the male gryffindor.
"Felix," she stated forwardly, "I believe you're going to need to change that habit, or a certain Gwyneviere and/or a certain Willow will come and change it for you."
She grinned mischievously. Of course, she had no intentions of every harming him at all.
Gwyneviere's fingers flicked at her bangs. She looked at the table. An enormous salad with carrots and bacon and strips of an innumerable amount of other things appeared before her. She artfully laced French dressing over the top of the lettuce, gracefully lifted her salad fork, stabbed the salad with it, and brought the leaves to her mouth.

Gwyn remembered him, that’s good news. And, even better, she didn’t remember his uneasy incident with Silvain. Something about Gryffindors, they weren’t just brave and courageous, they also were the most fun loving, easygoing types. Hufflepuffs were kind, but way too quiet. Slytherins, they’d hex you if you’d smile, and Ravenclaws, they were always way too serious. Felix guessed that all the rest of the houses had the same opinion.
Felix almost felt scared for a second at the older Gryffindors remark. He knew that Morgan’s ‘evil’ twin could probably do a lot more hex’s then herself. Gwyn didn’t seem evil… Felix knew that she was probably just putting on a face, as Morgan did so well, but what was the other side of the story… what really happened? Felix had been in one too many feuds to know that a one sided accusation could only mean chaos. He would have to ask her later.
Grinning back, Felix watched as Gwen in turn dug into her scrumptious salad. “Oh, don’t worry, I’ll avoid doing it at all cost now that everyone is back. I didn’t get to sing much anyway, I got past the first few notes and forgot the rest of the song. Ended up studying some random facts for the rest of the night that are completely useless!” Smiling at his end remark, Felix knew that his study habits were a burden that might save his life some day.
Willow pulled a bowl of fruit towards her, and swallowed a grape, only half-listening to Felix and Gwyn. Something made her uneasy, but she couldn't quite place it. Then, she shrugged it off and glanced back at Felix.
"Hey, save something for the others," she said good-naturedly, taking a bite of toast. Then she tuned in on what they were talking about. "Felix, you can sing?" she said in surprise. "This I have to hear."

Felix was a studious ickle first year--who sang. He was quite adorable, really.
"This," said Gwyneviere, eyes glimmering happily from both the food and the company, "I simply must hear as well." She grinned.
"Come on, Felix, sing! We can even join you, if you're that nervous about it.
"So what do you sing--'Over the Rainbow,' Beatles songs, Christmas carols--oh!" She set her fork down and netted her elegant fingers together under her chin. She set her elbows on the table and leaned on her fingers carelessly. Gwyneviere shifted her shoulders.
She was very amused.
"I know," the gryffindor began humorously once more, lowering her voice for her two companions, a devilish twinkle in her eye. "You're a total Phantom of the Opera kind of guy, aren't you? I should have known!"

Apparently the idea of Felix singing was an amusing idea. He loved singing. All kinds. He was even in a bunch of choirs and stuff before one day he found his magical talent. Sighing, Felix just looked at the floor and shook his head as Willow urged him to sing. What to sing anyway? Then Gwyn started. Sure, he had a nice voice, he didn’t like showing it off all the time.
“No, nah, not nervous, I just am very confident of making a fool of myself…” Felix said with a smile. Ah, but what to sing.
There were many people who Felix was sure could read minds. He loved Phantom of the Opera! Oh, how he loved it truly, he knew almost all the songs by heart, and sung them regularly.
“Phantom of the Opera? How did you know I love it? I, well, try to sing it the way he does but I can’t go that low. I’m a first tenor, which is the highest guys voice, and so I have to sing the song an octave higher then… anyway, it’s not perfect but…” What was he stalling so much? He knew he could do it, why did he wait. Standing, up, but trying hard not to attract attention, Felix wondered what he was to sing to? The ceiling? Definitely not his fellow student, how about his breakfast?
Smiling and sticking out his tongue in a playful manner, Felix cleared his throat and began to sing.
His voice was high. Majestically angelic as you could get from a guy. Not too loud, not too quiet, each note formed perfectly on his tongue….
“Softly, Gently…” Quietly louder, “Music shall progress ye!” “Hear it, feel it…” Turning to the bacon, which sat on his plate, Felix sung to it like a Romeo to a Juliet. “Secretly possess you!” Taking in a breath, Felix got loud, fist clenched, eyes complexly into the song. “Open up your mind, yet your fantasies unwind….! In the darkness which you know you can-not fight…” Looking down with sadness with a pause, Felix then looked up with new hope, “The darkness of the music of the night!”
Stepping up, with one of his legs up on the chair, Felix continued to sing to the bacon with true passion. “Let your mind start a journey through a strange new world! Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before…” Pausing for a breath, tears formed in his eyes as he song the song so wonderfully yet high. “Let your soul take you where you long to be!!!” Fist over his heart, Felix turned his head to the sky and song out with all his heart the note, seeing it was high for the lower octave, there was no way in the whole world Felix could hit it. All was left was his teary eyes, and mouth open wide, not a sound in the world coming out. Sitting down abruptly as to avoid any onlookers, Felix just grinned and whipped away the tear with his sleeve.
Sighing, Felix picked up his fork, really to spear his well-sung bacon. “Ahh… why did I even try and hit it anyway? There, you got me to sing.” Even though his words did not say it, he was filled with pure joy for him to sing.

Willow stopped chewing when he started singing, and swallowed. Well, this was interesting. She rested her chin on folded hands, her pale green pools shut as she listened. She loved this song, her best friend back home had sang it often...God, the memories this song brought up. Then again, she had a memory for every song. Then she remembered her descision, and opened her eyes. Music, at least, was one thing she wouldn't have to leave behind.
When he came to the end of the song, Willow realized she'd been murmuring the words under her breath along with him, and broke off abruptly, flushing incase Gwyn had noticed. When Felix was done, apparently serenading his bacon, she nodded in approval.
"Very, very good," she said softly, her bangs hanging in her face. This time, she didn't brush them away, for the hid her eyes. "Do you take lessons, Felix?" she asked after a beat, looking up to speak before Gwyn had a chance to announce her approval to the whole school, which she would by no doubt.
