"Protego," a low female voice countered before the source stepped into the hall. Looking back and forth between her family members, Gwen glared coldly down at the snake about to bite her sister. "Malachy, get that serpent away from Selene," she requested in an oddly calm fashion. Which only could mean one thing to those who knew her best, she was pissed. Yes, she had seen most of the scene, well the duel at least before stepping in. Pocketing her wand before straightening out her skirt and top, she glared at her sister. "And Selene, what the hell were you thinking?" she asked coldly as she stood somewhat between the two, but yet out of the way.
"This is childish," she whispered under her breath before turning to her housemate. "I know you won't lie to me, so tell me what the hell is going on here," she said as her cold eyes remained locked on Selene. "Starting with why and who started this mess," she inquired in a plain, emotionless voice.
Sure, she loved fights as much as the next person. But to see her own family going at it was just a bit odd to her. Especially to see Selene in this situation. Never in her life has she seen the girl step out of place, and for that, the serpent was highly disappointed in her younger sister. "Selene, I expected better of you," she spoke coldly to the blond. "Never in my life would I suspect to see you in a duel outside the appropriate area. So what is the big emergency?"
