It had been a few days. A week? She wasn't honestly too sure. Time sort of dripped by and blended together when you weren't actually doing anything. She'd thought she would run into a certain Lycan by now, especially with how strong the scent was around here, but she wasn't trying too hard if she was honest with herself. What would she say to Orca even if she did meet him here? Hey, hows it going? She had a feeling that wouldn't work so well.
Not sure what to do with her life, Sable decided she would go to the one place she had made any sort of appearance at since she'd arrived in town. Joker's Bar. The Bar named Joker that was run by Harvey. She'd liked him enough. He was nice, after all... And she did need something to do.
Her face tinged pink as she stood at the door. Not like that.
She held her nails up, her hand balled up as she fidgeted nervously before going in. She hadn't really dressed up to meet with him, or anything, but it was a slow enough day and he seemed casual enough. Was this a job interview? ...Should she have called first? She didn't have a phone. She sighed, smoothing out her button-up shirt again. This one, at least, was short-sleeved and breathy, and she wasn't wearing a shirt underneath, just a bra. She wore jeans and sneakers. Maybe she should've worn a skirt, but whatever.
She'd done this dozens of times before. Trying to get a job was no big deal. She had no idea why she was all nervous.
Finally she opened the door and made her way inside. She didn't stop at a table this time, but rather, she walked up to the bar and leaned against it. Harvey would be around, she was sure, in mere moments. He was a good bartender from what she had seen.
