Emerald eyes scanned the lake for any signs of life as, Phugsius Charadus a newly made alumnus, approached The Shining Lake on this aimless night. His mind was drowning in thoughts of nostalgia and his arms were crossed in a more pensive fashion. The fact that everything seemed quiet and undisturbed didn't help. Even the school itself seemed to have kept it's form intact. Generally, there were monsters and villains destroying various parts of the school. Perhaps he was being a bit dramatic though. The time between his separation from the school and now hadn't been all that long in reality, even if it seemed it.
His eyes caught the unmarred reflection of the half-moon resting in the water. Standing by the lakeside he idly wondered if he should actually be here, in Spain, and not out fighting the evil creatures that dwell in the darkest corners of the world. Not only that, but the question remained of how the school staff would react to his being on the grounds at night. Presumably they might think he was some sort of dark wizard or something getting ready to attack the school.
He took a moment to roll up the sleeves of his gray button up shirt and adjust the belt around his waist to better accommodate his wand which he kept tucked away on his hip. He hadn't planned on seeing Niobe here, but just in case fate did decide to bring them together again tonight he would be prepared.
Memories began flooding Phugsius' brain like a tidal wave had rolled over his head. He remembered sitting out here and playing his guitar which he had to pawn off to make some extra traveling money, the care of magical creatures classes he had to sit through, the times he spent here with Niobe, and the time he ended up on the lake shore after his abduction. Every little memory ran through his head and even seemed to play out in front of him as he stood where all these memories had previously occurred.
