HISTORY.
General: After graduating Firefox four yeas ago, Ashelle was taken in by her mother's family, the O'Conners. Ashlee O'Conner, their current heir, took a shine to her and began training her in the ways of a Trithear Princess. Most of the O'Conner's believe it was because Ashlee had an quiet obsession with 'underdogs', but Ashlee insisted that Ashelle had something, that despite all she's seen and been through, had not been squelched or destroyed by those tragedies.
Over the years Ashelle has blossomed, and has done the best she can to forget her past. School days and the mistakes they contain -she believed- were behind her and should stay that way.
However, Grand Miranda - Ashlee's Mother - eventually heard about the Trouble with the Black Forest Church, and confronted Ashelle about it. Ashelle tried to explain about Marc. She asked if he was happy on the O'Conners property, why should she care what the BFC did or said? Any normally intelligent wizard would see right through their propaganda, right?
Grand Miranda shook head. Over the next few days she told Ashelle the story of Voldemort and his Death Eaters. She revealed how it took one 'normally intelligent' wizard to make the whole of the wizarding population see the truth about him. She pointed out how, even then, the Wizarding world only understood a small amount of the truth of what had taken place.
That this was why it was so important for Ashelle to go back out and finish what she's started, when she took the word and evidence of one lone Lycan over the mysterious organization she'd worked for since her second year at Magic Horizons.
If she - a 'normally intelligent' witch - couldn't put a stop to The BFC, there was very little hope for the Lycan race, nore of the wizarding population figuring out the truth in time.
Ashelle was not very happy about the task her Grand had set before her, but it was clear to her she didn't have much of a choice. She packed her bags, and with her Alaskan Malamute, Raiku in tow, chartered a pet-friendly portkey to Spain, hoping to get a teaching job at her old school of Firefox and put to rest this final chapter of her old life for good.
