Defining characteristic: Selene has the rare ability to talk objectively to anyone about anything. She is a good listener and usually gives sound solid advice.
Education or important learning experiences: Selene favours important learning experiences over formal education because “There are things that are extremely important to know, that school can’t or won’t teach . . . but stay in school anyway. Falling off your broom into a hoard of Dementors will never make you better at Transfiguration or Potions.”
Who is your character's hero, or who do they admire or emulate?: Herself. “If I can’t trust in myself, if I can’t look up to myself and count on me, then there is something very wrong.”
