It had only been an hour. One hour ago the day was normal. He had every thing planned out had those plans not quite literally blown up in his face he's be sending Love potion soaked chocolates to some very special women. Women that deserved to have love turned against them for causing him pain.. But alas as usual Felix had to ruin EVERYTHING! Could that boy do anything right?
You'd think have just had his plans spoiled he'd be anger but he wasn't. Oh Felix can be such a kidder some times he though to himself as he walked through the big front doors to the School and looked around with a spaced out kinda look. Love was in the air and everyone was about know it.
Willow had always viewed Valentine's one way-another day for the single poeple to feel like shit. This year, she resolved for things to be different. This year, she was going to have fun. Even if it involved making others miserable. So when the sixteen-yeard-old lycan heard about the Valentine's Day thing at Firefox(via Drakkie grapevine), she'd brought some new clothes. Very eye-catching clothes.
I might actually be pretty, she thought, looking down at herself. The top bore a crisscross tie up the front, the ties a light topaz, and the sleeveless top was striped sideways black and scarlet, the top fastening behind her neck.
Her gloves were of the same pattern, fingerless gloves made of a silky material that ran up past her elbows. Black dress pants of a similar material swished with every step, making her feel rather self-conscious.
The two inch heels, not quite spike(she didn't dare wear spikes), were hell on her feet, but she had a spare pair of not-quite-so-painful-to-wear shoes in her shoulder bag. If it wasn't obvious what House she was representing, the lion pendant on her gold chain made it very obvious. Willow had even dared to wear make-up, a profound concept to the lycan.
At least she knew she didn't look like an animal from hell anymore. No one would guess what she really was. Only the cautious walk she had started using and the wild glint in her green-grey eyes might tip someone off. Willow stalked up to the arch, her loose brown hair falling over one shoulder. She instantly spotted someone, and sort of recognized him, but it was a vague memory, like from another life.
Now that I think about it, a lot of my memories are fading...Fenrir didn't mention that. Did he? Willow couldn't remember that either. She smiled warmly and waved to the other figure by the arch.
He turned at the sound of the voice. Strangely enchanting. When he turned he saw a girl, obviously Gryffindor, in clothing that didn't leave very much to the imagination. Everything else suddenly seemed unimportant to him. He had seen this girl once before in class. But then he hadn't realized how beautiful she was.
He walked back down the steps toward the voluptuous female. With a friendly smile. "Hey there, haven't we met some where before?"
What was with the air? It felt oddly....exhilirating. She blinked, suddenly feeling much energetic and friendly. The strange boy, a little older than her with a shock of white hair, was coming her way, looking very absorbed in her appearance. Maybe she'd overdone it a little. Then again, he was very handsome. How come she'd never spoken to him before?
Grinning back, she held out one hand. "If we haven't, I'm not sure why. Hi, I'm Willow Tylers." She fiddled with her pendant with the other hand. "Gryffindor."
What was with the air? It was like everything was much brighter, sunnier, just pure joy. And that wasn't like Willow at all. The lycan was usually very down and full of emo-ness, excluding a few wild exploits.
Malachy was wearing a black and green hood and a pair of jeans he hadn't really planned nuch that day he had just thrown on something warm so he could finish the potion. And he was reallt starting to wished he was wearing something... nicer.I mean she was dress so nicely and he was dessed like like... some random teenager some.
he took the offered hand and shook. "You have a nice name. My name's Malachy Necrosa." he said. "Slytherin, Pleased to meet you. You have a very nice dress, you look really pretty in it. Would you like to go in and get some thing to eat, or I don't know, just hang out." He suddenly found himself trying to think of things to do. The day seemed to bright and full of wonderful possibilities.
"It's fantastic to meet you too." It was sarcastic. Fantastic. She never used words like that when she'd just met someone. Willow kept grinning, a strange expression for her. She wasn’t a happy person in general. Sure, the guy was a little..messy, but gah, he was cute. ‘Sides, she lived in the woods, who was she to judge what someone looked like? He compliment her name, which amused her but made her feel even brighter, then asked to…
Yes, he had. Somebody had asked Willow to go out somewhere. She stared at him for a second, trying to figure out what was up. If the air hadn’t already completely destroyed her brain, she would have connected the air to his personality, and hers. But her brain was mush, and all she cared about was this guy, this wonderful, sweet, gorgeous guy. She nodded.
“Yeah,” she found herself saying. “Yeah, that’d be great. I was just about to go inside…Maybe we can find something there?”
She didn't feel quite connected to the ground, like her happiness had bubbled up and lifted her into the air. The lycan was a tad light-headed, but that must have been from the rus of things.
"Okay, then he said brightening up." but some how taking her to eat and hanging out just seemed inadequate. Especially when it came to expressing his desire plus it was as if going to leat would just get in the way.
"Before we go elt me give you something." He said as he moved closer. everything around hism seemed to be moving out of focus and his eyes where only for her. He wrapped his arms around her and pressed his lips to hers. This was so unnatural so quick they had barely met but something about the air made everything seem just right.
Hold everything, just for a second-This was very, very weird, but suddenly Willow found she didn't even care. She hugged him back, arms around her shoulders, and returned the kiss, then took a step back, feeling a little odd. It felt right, being here, but something else was screaming at her. Wrong, all wrong. Still the air felt thick.
Her usually pale face had turned scarlet red, and Willow turned her eyes to the ground. "Doesn't this feel a little...odd?"
No. It didn't feel odd, it felt perfect, like they had been made for each other. She smiled in a wry way at Malachy Necrosa, trying to push away the reluctance to kiss this guy she barely knew. Didn't know at all really. Except....
Stop, stop stop. Apparently the wolf in her wasn't as effected by it, but it didn't change the fact that being there felt right. Like running, or hunting, was right for the wolf, being here with him felt right for the human in Willow. And she was only human. Well, not exactly.
"Odd? how do you mean?" He asked starting to worry that he had offended her in some way. He really hoped he hadn't because she was quite pretty, and there was something else about her too. Something about her eyes. A strange wild almost feral look. Something about that seemed to awaken his own feral passions, but her questioning had caught him off guard he had no idea what to do.
"It doesn't feel odd. It feels just right to me." Though he had just kissed some one he barely knew. there was something way in the back of his mind that thought that wasn't the best idea but his ability to reason things out seemed to be going in circle every time he tried to think what they where doing wasn't normal his mind instantly started think of all the feature that he liked about her. And then his mind would conclude that it was fine.
Sning however knew exactly what was going. The Metal serpent that was wrapped around Malachy's finger didn't breath and therefor couldn't be effected by the potion. and having witnessed what had happened in the greenhouse knew that if Malachy kept at it things would definatly back fire he was doing exactly what he had intended Morgan to do. The snake started communicating in ways that only a the Lycan within Willow would be able to translate. Sning was no longer a living creature but its feral ways of communicating with other animals had never died. And yes Sning knew from the second he touched willow via Malachy touching her, that she was allergic to his scales, and a simple flick of his tongue told him that she didn't smell human.
He was trying to tell the wolf with what had happened or at least suggest that its instincts where correct in guessing that something was wrong. Sning needed to get his master away from this girl before he ruined his own life by doing something really stupid. Like try to mate with the Lycan. He hoped his little suggestion would educe help from her side as well.
Frowning, Willow looked down at her arm where is had brushed Malachy's hand as she'd pulled away. A new, shiny almost burn like mark lay there, the skin raw. What....
Silver. Her pale grey-green eyes traveled down to the delicate, intricate ring curled around his finger, that of a snake. It was looking at her, that much was obvious. Something nagged at her mind, and Willow pushed away the thickness in the air to think. With the pain of the burn came clarity. Something was up.
But, being part human, she couldn't help herself. The lycan leaned forward and kissed him again, her eyes still on the snake. Understood, they said. But she had to keep Malachy's attention, at least long enough to figure out what was going on. At least, that's what Willow told herself that she was doign.
Carefully, she eased forward, letting her arms encircle his neck again. He smelled of the thick air, and of Felix. Felix?
"Where did Felix go?" Willow mumbled before kissing him again.
If Malachy had been thinking clearly maybe he'd have wonder how she knew he had been around Felix, but his mind was in a Fog so he simply answer. "Oh, Felix was in the Greenhouses, he..." Suddenly he started remembering what had happened, "He destroyed my potion, but it's alright I can make another one."
Hmmm... the feel of her so close her warmth and scent where intoxicating. His nose may not be anywhere near as powerful as hers but the air itself seemed to be intoxicating. He was about to wrap his arms around her and the The ring on his finger started to hurt as Sning constricted around his finger. What was wrong with him? Sning didn't care if he liked someone why on earth would he interfere was there really something wrong as Willow had suggested.
She drew back for a second, trying to ignore his expression of irritation. The greenhouses....Time to be a silver-tongued charmer, she thought. Carefully, Willow let one hand trail down towards his waist, eyes half glazed. She rasped her tongue over her lips.
"A potion?" Willow smiled again. "Yeah, I bet you can make an amazing potion. Are you really good at potions? I was never very good."
Gah, the air.....so annoying, now, while her wolven brain was trying to pick through it to find out what was happening. A potion, a potion....What could he have possibly done? Willow leaned forwards, close to his ear. "Why don't you tell me about the potion, Malachy? It means a lot to me."
The lycan glanced down at the snake ring again. It was tightening on Malachy's finger, the skin around the snake was almost white now, while the rest of the finger was red.....That stupid thing was going to cut off the circulation!
Stop it! I need him focused! she snapped, unsure if he'd be able to hear her. He. Like she knew the thing.
Sning loosened. The only form of communication the snake had at its disposal was Parstle tongue or body language, or he could communicate through emotional auras too but it was as translatable as snake language. So he just complied. With the demand she seemed to be handling things well enough at least the lupine side was.
Malachy smile of course he'd tell her, he'd tell her anything there was nothing he wouldn't trust her with. and he wanted to please her in anyway possible. "I made a 24 hour love potion to give to some girl that where mean to me and make them cheat around to embarrass, but Felix blew it up before I could do anything.
Is there anything else you'd like to know darling" he asked hoping there would be something else
Felix. Of course. This was all his fault. Willow made a mental note to hit him around the head the next time she saw him. The lycan glanced down at the snake, which had thankfully stopped trying to amputate Malachy's finger. She chewed her lip for a second, looking at Malachy's waaayyy to eager expression. I could take advantage of this, she thought, feeling giddy and a little mischevious. But....
Well, according to that church, she was going to hell anyway. Except Willow wasn't sure she believed in that stuff. Did she? She used to. Except the bible didn't include vampires and lycans and....all this stuff. Maybe God had just decided it would be funnier if it was a surprise. He had to have a sense of humor. After all, if he didn't, how could you explain the giraffe? Or the aardvark? Bingo.
Willow rocked back on her heels, practically purring with satisfaction. "You wouldn't happen to know the antidote mixture for this particular potion, would you, love?" Keep his attention. Keep his attention....Feeling a little guilty for using the potion against Malachy but wondering WHO he had been going to go use it on, Willow let one hand drop below his waist.
Hermz. Not quite there, but dangerously close. Enough to give Malachy the shivers. Freaking potion was still tearing at her, begging her, and it took every ounce of her strength not to move her hand about one more inch down.
Oh yes He had answered and she had rewarded him. Her hand was so close. Maybe if he told her more about the antidote she'd reward him more.
There is an antidote. It took a whole day for me to brew it for myself. I have it ready in my Dorm to take so my plan doesn't backfire." He had brewed the potion only because of the advice of a little girl named Selena she was a mind reader and saw right through his plan. She told him that the most well thought out plans are doomed to fail. She seemed to think Morgan needed some realignment as well and had told hin to make an antidote. She was such a smart girl.
