Another dance was being held within the school walls. Many students seemed to be excited, but there were still a few who weren't very eager on attending. One of these students was none other than Trishelle Hanley of slytherin. The dark-haired girl was currently sitting on her bed in the slytherin girl's dorm. If she did go she'd need a nice dress to wear. Of course what was the point when all the guys probably already had their dates. A soft sigh escaped the girl's lips. There wasn't anything better to do anyways.
Trish dressed in a green and blue dress, a matching green mask, and black heeled shoes. A look of disgust was seen on her face as she looked at herself in a mirror. The slytherin could hardly recognized herself dressed up in such a fashion. She made a mental note to try and make this the last dance she ever attended alone. It was such a pain to dress up knowing that you wouldn't have anyone to enjoy the night with. She finally decided to put her long black hair into a high fancy pony tail.
Now it was the moment the slytherin girl dreaded. Walking to the feasting hall to the New Year's Party. As she walked, she took her sweet time getting there. No need to hurry after all it was only a dance that would last through most of the night. Eventually, Trish arrived at the Feasting Hall. It seemed strange but deep down inside she may have actually been looking forward to walking into the dance. She slowly entered the dance hall and gave a soft glare toward the dance floor. If she was going to dance, then she would much rather do it outside underneath the starry sky. Once again the fact that she was dateless spread into her mind. 'This is so stupid. I should never have come here.' she thought coldly.
The dark haired girl made her way toward a seat in the very back of the hall. Her green eyes began to watch the dancing couples with a cold glare. It wasn't a surprise she didn't have anyone to dance with, after all there were so many much prettier girls in this school. It was at this thought that her eyes turned down toward the floor. It was terrible to realize that hardly anyone actually cared for her at the school. "Maybe I should just leave." she whispered very softly to herself. "There's no point in coming to such a stupid thing if you're alone."
