"Two waters, please." he addressed the consession worker cooly before taking two cold and moist glasses of water. He handed one to Lucia, and took a sip of his own.
"An auror? That's really amazing. I'm sure its a daunting task, but I believe you can do it. Not much point to life in giving up before trying, right?" Lucre noticed that Lucia was shrinking into herself again at the concept of discussing one of her major aspirations. Of course, that was not surprising, since just about everybody was unsure about themselves when it came to their future goals. They didn't know for sure if their dream was the right one, or they did not think themselves capable of attaining it, and all that jazz. But he wanted the Hufflepuff to know that he'd be there for her, to push her in whatever direction her feet pointed to.
"Seriously, no matter how tough it is, I'll help you through every step of the way. Whether it be dueling practice or tutoring you with more advanced magicks directed towards your affinity, I'll help you out with any aspect of your training. And also," he paused, getting up the courage to make the steel-clad promise that he was about to make.
"I already promised myself I would devote myself to you, my sweet, sweet Lucia. As long as you're in Spain, I want to continue staying close to you, supporting and protecting you, waiting for you as long as it takes until you fulfill your dream."
Taking his mask off, he leaned against the wall the he stood next to, and his entrancing stare met with two-toned irises. Behind his eyes and his reassuring grin was a heavy sense of conviction. He was not 100% certain what all he planned on doing, perhaps being a spy for the Ministry or something to that effect. His cat-affinity made that more than an ideal choice, though he hoped that would not jeopardize the safety of the one precious thing he now chose to devote his life to.
