Jeremy walked to the portrait that led into the Gryffindor Common Room, and looked for the handle. Then he remembered he needed to say the password, that he obtained from another Gyrffindor student earlier. Jeremy was happy that he got into Gryffindor, it was the only house that appealed to him. He looked around himself to make sure no one was around, and muttered the password. Then he stepped into the Common Room, not knowing what to expect. As he was looking around the room, he noticed presence of a past celebration or party. Other than that, he noticed comfortable looking furniture that surrounded the entire room. He also noticed two sets of stairs that led up. Jeremy came to the conclusion that one was the boy's dormitory, and the other was the girl's dormitory.
He sat down on a chair closest to the entrance of the Common Room, and opened his suitcase. In there he had a couple books, his wand, and other various small things such as a orange pen. Jeremy stretched out his legs and leaned back against the couch. This day had been tiring and confusing for him, and he knew it wasn't over yet. As he rested his eyes, he began thinking of his future in Firefox University and what he could do to help the Gryffindors win the House Cup. Jeremy already decided to take Muggles Studies, and thought about taking other classes, but wasn't too sure about his capabilities in them.
Jeremy also thought about quidditch, but quickly dismiss the thought of joining the team. He knew he probably be better on the sidelines than on the field. Also, he still didn't get a broomstick, which he heard was needed to player, so he wouldn't even be able to play. Jeremy found himself getting very tired, which made him alarmed. He did not want to fall asleep here, but he didn't know which dormitory is right, and Jeremy did not want to make a mistake and pick the wrong one. Quickly he put everything back into his suitcase, everything besides his wand. Jeremy held it up and whispered jokingly, "Alakazam." He wasn't surprised to see nothing happen. Jeremy didn't knew anything about casting spells, or most things for that matter.
