A tall and rather alarming figure stomped with much venom through the doors of the dueling hall, her thirteen and a half inch wand held out in front of, irritably blasting anything in her path. Her eyes, usually a bright cheery green - albeit a very unnatural shade thereof - were flashing and sparking with a worrying intensity, enough to make anyone think twice about even looking at her. Her violently purple hair was messed up and out of place, a shaggy mane of shocking proportions. If one would dare get close enough, it would even be possible to hear a slight growl emanating from deep in her throat.
It had not been a good day. Sure, this morning it had started off as alright, but after her first class - transfiguration - it had reached the status of only OK, but by half past eleven (following the awful and unproductive three hour stint in the library during which could not find a single one of the twenty seven books on her research list) it had descended to the realms of not good, and by lunch, which consisted of an unpleasant potato stew and vegetables - not exactly one of Sylph's favorites - it was going badly, and now, after trying and failing to do some of her astronomy homework while some first years insisted on playing exploding snap right next to her charts, covering them in charcoal repeatedly despite Sylph's rather loud protests, Sylph felt that her day had reached the stage of bloody terrible. Thus it was that she needed to blow off some steam, and there was nothing better than taking it out on a fellow human being.
Now all she needed was a said fellow human being to show up, and preferably one she disliked; it was more fun that way.bg
