{First post at least to Phugsius please}
The summer sun was high in the sky as Roan stood on the Dueling Fields. Summer heat made clothes stick to skin and students either took to the Lake or kept indoors with spells to keep them cool. Those that were going outside were skirting the Dueling Fields because of the strange woman standing there, giving her a wide berth and the privacy that she wanted. Roan was slightly uncomfortable as her she fidgeted to keep her muggle clothes from being annoying but she knew why she was out there in the sun and heat. The lycaness had broken down on something she had said no to before, and the climate was perfect for what she wanted to do. That didn’t mean she was happy about that though.
Hazel eyes blazed even in the summer sun and she looked positively disgruntled. The boy she had told to come here had annoyed her several times now even if he had helped point her in the direction to save her pack mate. No, ex-pack mate. Her mind reminded her dolefully, making Roan grind her teeth together and try and ignore that. Matters of lycanthropy were not what caused her to be out here today. It was her magical side that still remained, the fire elementalism that still reigned strong over Roan.
A few hours earlier she had sent an owl to Phugsius, the Slytherin boy who had been so interested in her fire elementalism. It would probably arrive to him at the breakfast table and she hoped he would listen to her rather curt letter that simple read: Get your ass to the Dueling Field at noon, Roan. It was the only chance she’d give him as the lycaness felt insane enough already for giving him this one.
She had sworn she wouldn’t take a student…but the situation was pushing her hand.
So the woman waited to see if the Slytherin would show his face or not to the perturbed lycaness. Or if he’d give up his chance to possibly gain further control over the element he so sought.971
