So this is Fenrir's woods, intriguing indeed. I wonder what kind of prey I'll find here? The Cloaked figure thoughy to himself as his scanned his surroundings. This human-like figure was covered by a dark brown traveling cloak. The hood was up; the star light failed to reveal his true facial feature to any but those with with strong enough eyes. Eyes, like his that could pierce even the blackest of shadows.
Maybe it was a good thing that his face was hidden or the surrounding area might be even more silent than it already was. Creature seemed to judge him by his looks most of the time, which in this case was probably a good thing, if they valued their lives.
Well anyway Jack, that's his name, was just wandering the wood aimlessly seeing what he could of the place. The place he would probably end up hunting if food else where was scarce or untouchable enough. When he caught something out of the corner of his eye. He stopped suddenly and turned. There standing but a few yards away in this forest of elms was what at first glance looked like a horse. The only problem was that this horse was so white that it made his skin look gray, and protruding from it fore head between its eyes and ears was a single foot long horn. The vampire was dumbstruck. Part of him just wanted to stand there an gawk all day at the majesty he saw.
However, the more dominant mind saw this creature as something else entirely. He could small the blood under its skin, he could hear it hear beating, calmly it hadn't noticed him yet. He had heard that for humans this creature blood could cure ANYTHING, and in for potions making its horn was more valuable than even the fines diamond. And he couldn't help but wonder just what the blood tasted like. He imagined it had to be like heaven on earth. It was grazing now as the time to strike. He moved with silent grace into position making sure there where no tree between him and his target. He crouched getting ready to pounce then suddenly the animal picked its head up and look strait at him. It knew? Jack hesitated but only for a second then letting loose his full strength and speed he lashed forwards stretching out his arms, opened his Deadly jaws, and slammed face first into the tree that once stood behind his prey. The unicorn had vanished.
