Jeremy started to walk down to the river, bumbling and stumbling, and juggling every thing he had in his arms. One of those things was a golden cage, where Samus resided in. The barn owl made a screeching noise, and Jeremy knew what to do. He let the owl out of the cage, and watched if fly high, and far, and he watched it fly onto a stump right by the lake. The owl felt like Jeremy was carrying half his body weight, so it helped a lot when he released it. Another item he was holding was his Gryffindor robe, which he barely ever wore. In fact, he actually never wore his robe, since he was always quite comfortable with the clothes he was in. Today Jeremy was wearing a plain white t-shirt, and light blue jeans. He walked to where his owl was, and looked at it. The owl gazed at the water, and flew straight at it. It swoop down like a seagull, and pulled out a fish. That's amazing due to the fact owls are nocturnal, Jeremy thought to himself. And that kid was right when he said that Samus would eat anything, thought the boy, as the owl started eating the fish. Pulling off some of the fins, the eyes, and ripped the gills to shreds. "Nauseating, and scary," Jeremy said as he watched Samus viciously killing and eating the fish.
The blond haired boy shook his head, and brought his attention on today's goal, which was practice. He threw his robe on a low branch on an old tree. Then he placed the golden, heavy cage near the trunk of the same tree. Jeremy's hair blew viciously in the wind, smacking his face once in a while. He then looked at the other items he had brought, a American football, and a bottle of water. Jeremy guzzled down the water, and threw it into the river. Then he took out his wand and yelled out, "Accio bottle!" He missed the bottle, but managed to catch a fish. He held the fish hight up, still using the same spell. Then Samus came from no where and intercepted the fish. Do not watch the mauling of the fish, do not watch it, Jeremy told himself. He brought his attention back to the water bottle, and concentrated harder. "Accio bottle!" Cried the boy. To his surprised the water bottle flew to where Jeremy wanted it to. He levitated above his head, and dropped it. He caught it with his left had, and tossed by his feet. "Wingardium Leviosa," whispered Jeremy, with a swish and a flick of his wand.
It floated up into the air, right in the same level of his knees. Jeremy kicked it higher, and it landed near the cage, which had fallen over in the process of practicing some charms. He sat down, and Samus who was devouring the fish, flew to him and landed on his shoulder. Jeremy was quite impressed with the owl, it was so well trained, and he knew this since the first day he got him. He had help him escape another student, which happened to be the next in line Ravenclaw Prefect.
This brought his mind back to him being appointed the Gryffindor Prefect. He hadn't done much as the Prefect, nor did he had to do anything yet. He did attend some more classes, in which one made a couple people mad at him. That class also made Jeremy realized of some his enemies, and both were Ravenclaw students. Actually, one was Ceiced, the Head Boy, and the other was Muryllis, a very annoying suck up. Ceiced pulled a wand on another student, because she pulled of a prank, and Muryllis took sides with Ceiced, and sucked up in one of the classes. Jeremy almost got in detention that day, but the only people that did was the people who were most involved with the drama. These being Roan, Ceiced, and Charlotte, who came late and blamed Ceiced for the prank. How dumb did she think the teacher was? Jeremy asked himself. He was still happy being appointed Prefect, and wouldn't abuse his powers, nor would he be lenient.
"Accio football," Jeremy yelled, with a swish and flick of the wand, at the football. He brought it to his hands, and got up. Samus flew away, probably back to the fish. "I hope I don't get in trouble, because he's hungry," Jeremy quietly said. He brushed some fish guts off his shoulder, and almost lost his lunch. He didn't like that sight or the smell, nor did anyone else. Jeremy walked to another tree, which had a large hole in it. Fiona did that by accident, when she almost hit him with a spell called stupefy. I have to learn how to throw the ball better, if I want to be a backup chaser. Jeremy knew the only way he could live with himself if they need another quidditch player, he'll have to practice, but he was too afraid to play on a real field, on a broom.
He walked about ten yards away from the tree, and tried to throw the football through the hole. Jeremy used to play football when he lived in America, so he thought it would be easy. He was wrong. Jeremy totally missed his target, and the tree in all. "I guess I am a little rusty right now," the Gryffindor Prefect said. "Accio football," he said in a groan. It worked, and he brought the ball back to his hands. "I guess I'm getting better at one thing," Jeremy told himself. He took aim again, and threw the football. This time it actually hit the tree, and it bounced almost all the way back to him. "Wingardium Leviosa," Jeremy said quietly, and with his hand that wasn't holding the wand, he stretched out and grabbed it. He took aim again, concentrating more than ever. With a deep breath he chucked the ball, and watched it as it near the tree. "Come on," he said. Then it went through! Finally thought Jeremy.
He walked behind the tree, and saw it bouncing into some bushes. Jeremy slowly walked to it, as he was admiring his surroundings again. He reached the bushes, and had to feel for the football. Samus flew onto his back, thinking that he was in danger. This surprised Jeremy a little, but he kept searching. He finally felt the ball, and lifted it. Jeremy turned around, and looked at the tree. It was about forty yards away from where he was standing. Jeremy threw the football into the air, and yelled, "Accio football!" Concentrating hard, he tried to get the ball through the hole. At about ten yards away from the tree it fell. Almost, Jeremy thought, then he started to walk back tot he tree.
