OOC: lulz, sorry Teej, I decided to ramble about pretty much nothing... =P This is what happens when you force me to post.

Felix's life was so not normal. He sometimes would revisit his memories of the past only to find himself bored. He was such a boring muggle kid. His childhood was pretty odd as it was, and exciting, but even then it didn't beat talking to shape-shifting best friends, making up spells and trying to figure out assassination murders attempts while hoping your school wasn't invaded by zombies.
Felix was sitting in a tree, which overhung the lake. He was eating an apple.
Growing up he had moved every month or so, but he was not moving from city to city or state to state, more country to country. He wasn't exactly even schooled, he would have a different teacher or tutor wherever he went, and all of them had no idea what to teach him, so books were his education. He had visited the sites of everything possibly interesting in history, yet still he felt something missing.
Family.
By this time the apple was nothing but a core, Felix eat that too.
Felix never exactly had a family. Sure, he had a mom and dad, but when they rarely ended up on the same continent for more then a week it was kinda hard to live normally. The Gryffindor envied people like Torrid. The guy had a family. They had their trials and tribulations, but they were something resembling a unit of closely related relatives. TJ was raised by an single pair of people and had actual siblings, not random foreign tutors, he never had real brothers or sister, or friends that weren't gone in a mouth never to see again.
With no more apple left, Felix just stared over at the lake, protected by the cool breeze by his unbuttoned and untucked white shirt, revealing a band's logo inside, with rolled up sleeves and his warn pair of jeans.
Firefox wasn't like that, Firefox was different. Here Felix did have a family. More dysfunctional then the Griffins for sure, but it was family. He had big sisters... who manages to either learn dark magic or almost kill themselves... he had parents...ish? Every person over 20 automatically became Felix's 'uncle' or 'aunt' and any other student was, for better or worse, a sibling, right?
He was wearing no shoes, of course. He was in a tree, why bother?
He didn't know what he longed for, he had raised himself and had failed miserably. His common sense was nothing more then 'as long as I don't die and if I get a adrenalin rush from almost dying then it's ok to do.' Look at where that had gotten him.
If only he had two apples...
OOC: First post to Teej please.
