ooc: continued from the crypt thread. Layne Larkin, thanks.

Dark. It was even a little chilly, but it was still early summer yet, so that was understandable. Gabriel stepped outside, still not quite used to the sensation of walking without a limp. He hadn't really gotten out a whole lot, save his little problem with Zeph originally, and this latest adventure.
Neither had been very productive.
He glanced over his shoulder at the rainbow-haired Slytherin who followed after him. She was strange, sure to be interesting. Gabriel wasn't exactly sure what she had in mind, but Gabriel rarely cared about anything. He wasn't terribly worried, unless she had the ability to teleport him straight to Azkaban.
That would certainly be interesting.
Gabriel shifted his eyes over the grounds. The lake shimmered slightly, even without the light of the sun reflecting off of it. He didn't like being outside after dark, not this late, and not with blood on him. Sparky had gotten most of it, but he knew that wasn't all of it. It was in his clothes, and some of it wasn't even his.
Maybe he should have suggested going up to the school, but they were more likely to be interrupted up there, and by somebody who could cause him problems. So far, Gabriel had remained under the radar, by pure luck. Whoever found the bodies of his victims hadn't connected them to Gabriel. Somehow.
Maybe because the law enforcement around here was just pure shit.
And those that knew what he had done hadn't gone to anyone about it. Save maybe now for Layne, who had little proof of anything, other than his attack on Draven. That had ended worse than he had planned, if one could call that random attack planning.
He kept walking to rest not quite on the shore, but off in the grass. Gabriel remained standing, but he obviously had no intention of going very far from his current position. He turned his scarred face to Layne, unsmiling, and cleared his throat.
"Say whatever you wanted to say."
