[ooc: from HERE. Double RP Roulette: Personality Flippy Thing is still a gogo for Finny and Cyan :3 open to all though!]
Finnegan Darby was not in his usual good humor today. He wasn't sure why things were so off, but it could have something to do with the recent sexual harassment he'd been forced to endure. Cyan, the usually level-headed-sometimes-wimpy Slytherin, was acting more than odd, and Finnegan had so happened upon the other boy when he was at his worst.
A wrinkle creased the blond boy's brow as he thought back to those casual molestations. Where had that come from?
Well, no matter, he could ignore it, couldn't he? And he wouldn't be allowing any more of that either, thank you. He'd forgotten his wand, yes, but that didn't mean he was incapable of defending himself. Oh yes, if Cyan tried anything funny again he'd soon see just how fast Finnegan could run away. Oh yeah, Finnegan wasn't afraid to show him the backside of his heels.
The Hufflepuff shot his companion a quick glance. Before, for some reason, he'd thought Cyan cute, and had showered him with attention, but now all that seemed very silly. The more-or-less (now) asexual student frowned to himself. Things certainly were weird, weren't they? At the least, a bit off.
He stopped walking as the lake came into view -- not their intended goal, as they hadn't really had one, per Cyan, but a nice place to stop nonetheless. There was still snow about, but the sky above was sunny and the breezes were scarce. All in all, a nice day to go out and not get felt up by classmates.
Finnegan took a few wandering steps to the edge of the lake, peering down into its crystalline depths. He'd heard weird rumors about this lake being somewhat radioactive. Did that mean if he fell in he'd become a mutant?
How unsightly. Finnegan made a face.
"Have you been here before?"
He himself hadn't, as he spent most his time doing... well, nothing. Generally he spent his days running around and accidentally-on-purpose missing classes. That, of course, was going to change. Finnegan Darby would be the top tier of academic performance; he could tolerate nothing less.
