ooc: continued from here.
They'd finally arrived at the lake, and Leon let out a sigh of relief as he straightened out his robes and took a seat on the grass. They were far away enough from the Greenhouses now that they were in the clear. He'd been half afraid that their taking their time on the walk over would've doomed them, and 'Ol' Frenchie' or whoever the caretaker of the Greenhouses was would pop out and take so many points away from both their houses that a year's worth of homework wouldn't have made it up. That was all in the past though, Leon thought as he stared out at the water, even if he caught them now what evidence would he have that they two were the ones who'd been there?
Unless of course there were some kind of wizard forensic scientists or special security cameras. Come to think of it, there was a divination professor. Maybe she could look into a pool of water and see what the two of them had done? Well, for now, Leon thought as he glanced over at Layne, he'd just enjoy the fact that they were in the clear.
"I just got here," Leon said, "I haven't been here much longer than a week. The reason I transferred is what I imagine they do for fun. Fighting in the dark against vampires, werewolf attacks every so often, big wizard wars!" He almost sounded like a little boy as he spoke of these things, excitement gripping him. "At Salem it was just...boring. I mean if you're a wizard, you should be a wizard. Sure they taught you spells at Salem but the exciting stuff was just 'is Christina dating Alistair?' or 'oh my god, Alexis is totally cheating on Michael with Adam!'-" as he quoted, Leon put on the impression of a stereotypical teenage girl, "-and somehow I'd just get dragged into it."
Leon laughed, "only part I liked about Salem was Quodpot, and apparently they don't play it here. Lame, right?" He shrugged, "sorry to give you my life story, but you asked."
