Tobias had tried to be the first Shadow to begin the mayhem, though technically that went to Scorpius. The young Selther, on the other hand, chose to take the, "LOOK AT ME! I'M INSANE!" approach. He did not appear via the typical Shadow apppearance, rather, he came from the shadows in the skies. "Sodalitus Corporealus!" He flew out of the stormclouds, riding what appeared to be solid shadows in an "Iceman"-esque style. Before he began his run, he had ensured that his face was hidden by not only his hood, but an ebony mask depicting the Grim Reaper. He began circling the town, his wands ready. One kept him in the air, the other, was for destruction.
He began small, with a flurry of bombardas, destroying the roofs of houses, sheds, and obliterating chunks of the landscape, careful not to hit any other members. All the while, he was laughing like a madman, though he had used a small charm he had learned from Muryllis so that he sounded like an adult....which he was in essence if you counted a madman as an adult. Rain began to fall, and so, he decided to make it a rain of fire. He used one of the spells he had learned from his time in the Society, to change some of the rain, into liquid fire. Oh how fun this would be.
Orifiel marked himself as quite fortunate enough to be caught up in the midst of this wonderful conflict even as it started, which had thrown the entire village into uproar, was as of yet seemingly unaffected. He had continued to almost casually stroll from one vendor to the next, originally intent on actually purchasing something here and there and perhaps even stepping into a local tavern for a drink and a bite to eat; even as some very very rude little human chose that moment to make himself the center of attention, throwing everything into absolute pandemonium.
For one reason or another, only a few short minutes later, some black-shrouded minion of the very rude human; who coincidentally happened to be very low on manners himself, decided in typical human folly that the best course of action would be to assail the quite innocent Nephilim. Fortunately, a few short moments; not to mention a couple of well-aimed daggers, freed Orifiel up from this petty engagement to return his focus to what was more important at the moment- the shop vendors; along with teaching someone a few lessons in proper etiquette.
Heaving a great sigh of frustration, as there were no shop keeps or vendors who were polite enough not to keep shop open over such a trivial matter and who all seemed intent on shutting and bolting their shops; he decided to actually pay attention to the petty conflict before him.
Mayhem. Utter mayhem. It was beautiful beyond comprehension. Chaos and destruction enveloped the town and it’s inhabitants and with it fulfilling the ultimate destiny of all humans; death. Why he had taken so long to get involved was beyond him, it must have been the fault of that loud human who had started this and forgotten to include Orifiel from the beginning.
Hands darting in his pockets, they were withdrawn almost immediately with daggers clutched between each of his fingers, a rather maniacal gleam in his eye as he finally left his little world to discover the battle raged outside, “What are you people doing? Why are you fighting one another? You should pay attention to me! I’m right here! Here! HERE!” he cried, attempting to draw as much possible attention to himself as he began to step foreword, towering above even the tallest of humans, making his way towards the center of the town, hewing down any in his path without discrimination, be they villager or shadow.

It had all come too soon.
A few days previous, Sylph had been in her shop explaining about the shadows at the Triangle Tunnel, filling her in on what was going on at the school, and Hayz didn’t expect it all to come so soon, if she was to be honest.
The words that had resounded from the Village square had awoken her joltily, sounding like a faraway dream but knowing that in reality it was so much more different…
Should she just lie in bed and ignore it?
The question was could she just lie in bed and ignore it. Hayzie, being Hayzie, knew she couldn’t. Silently levitating herself into the Hovermatic at the side of her bed, suddenly grateful for the quietness it provided, the store-owner hovered silently down the stairs and into the stock room at the back of her store.
“Play time,” the blonde whispered, a determined glint in her eye.
It didn’t take long for her to transfigure her purple pyjamas into some jeans and a tee. The night was fairly cool, and a jacket would only get in the way. Wheeling herself out to the front of the joke shop, chaos greeted her. Chaos the blonde girl hadn’t imagined could occur. People were already dead, and the girl had to avert her eyes from those for now in fear she would be sick.
Hayz could hardly hear herself think over all the noise, but wheeled forward after putting Addie’s Amazing Invisibility Charm on herself and on the wheelchair, dropping things here there and everywhere in a scattered fashion, things that looked like pebbles. But boy did she know better. Back in her shop, a mini plan had formed. A little distraction as such while she tried to get the villagers to return to sanity. Something Hayz wasn’t so sure she had at the moment.
“Excuse me, excuse me,” she said politely as she made her way through the crowd, still invisible. Most turned and looked at the empty square of space, confused and stepped around, not noticing the pebble like thing that dropped at their feet. They were already confused from the events that were taking place. This one last bit wouldn’t harm them. It took a long while, but she finally got to the ringleader, standing atop the fountain in the square. People really had abandoned their homes, children were crying, women were frightened and men were shouting. Someone had to take charge of the rabble, and quick.
” Sonorus,” the blonde girl whispered quietly, her voice carrying over the crowd as she smiled, not taking any notice of the regal looking figure who stood atop the fountain. “Will you all shut up! Now, all the villagers take about.. I don’t know… sixteen steps backwards?” More confused mummers filled the square, greeted with a roll of eyes from the blonde girl, but they did as they were told. Wheeling forwards so all of the pebbles were behind her, as the final villager took their sixteenth step, Hayzie removed the invisibility charm and made herself viewable to all the shadows in the square. “Play time,” she grinned, “Actico!” the girl cast, pointing her wand at the ground and setting off the apparent pebbles. Never Stop Sparking Fireworks were one of her newest ideas. Instantly, the town square was lit up in an array of blues, greens, yellows, reds, purples, pinks, oranges, every colour imaginable creating as much light as the sun would on a cloudless summers day.
While the show carried on, Hayzie turned back to the villagers and dropped the microphone spell. “Those who feel able to fight, stay. We have a battle on our hands tonight… Those who don’t, and children, stay indoors. Don’t pay any attention to anything going on outside. Lock all your doors and windows and whatever you do, stay inside,” the suddenly serious blonde instructed, nodding to them as various men, women and children made their choices.
“Talon… we could really do with some help right now,” she muttered darkly, looking up at the school as though he could hear her. It was likely that that night, however, the villagers were on their own.
“I have a feeling these fireworks are going to stop soon… they’re still work in progress,” Hayzie explained, bracing herself for the aftermath of her actions.

Miles violently woke from bed. A nightmare. He was slightly shaken, in a cold sweat. He looked out his window. Oh my God THAT was a nightmare. Destruction, death. Fire raining from the sky. His roof was suddenly blasted away. Open to the terrible events outside. Hayzie's words floated towards him. Yes, fight. Need help though.
He transformed, muscles and bones elongated, rearranging, until he stood as a seven and a half foot tall wolf. He burst through his window and land heavily on the ground below. He looked up. A maniac was flying around blasting away at things. His scent was on the air.
Selther. We had a bad feeling about him. Time to call in the cavalry.
He inhaled deeply, filling his lungs, and let out a long, loud, quite particular howl. The Signal. Marcus Solomon had warned them that something might happen, and here it was. Miles had called himself the Wolf Guardian of Drakborough, jokingly, but now it had come to fruition. James and Seth should be coming now.
He thundered down the streets, dark fur matted down by the rain, blue eyes blazing. He rushed a Shadow from behind, swatting at his head with massive paws, claws extended. Long slashes across his face, a crunching sound. His neck snapped and he went down.
Another Shadow tried to raise his wand but it was too late. Miles crushed his head between his jaws. He dropped the body. Miles sent a thought out to the villagers. Everyone, out of my way, I'm here to help!
He felt for Talon's mind, it was a very unique mind and easy to find. Talon Windwaltz! Drakborough is under attack! HELP US! He mowed down another Shadow. He waited for help to arrive.

Skullwhite had changed to Horse-form so he could get there more efficiently. What was a leisurely canter for him outran a normal horse's full gallop. He stopped just shy of the village. This wasn't his style, he preferred subtly and stealth to full on invasion and brute force. Still, he was bound to be loyal, the bridle he wore ensured that. He phased into man-form, this time with heavier boots, and light magic-repellent armor that was hidden under thick robes. The patch shone prominently on his chest as he entered the village and observed the mayhem. Not his style at all, but he did relish the thought of another drowning...

James was walking around down past the gates, they were already open. That night he had spoken to Talon and had agreed to let him come along on his London trip. Then he heard it. Miles' Signal Howl. James didn't miss a beat. He called out "To me." He kept running as his sword shot out of his open upstairs window. It caught up with him and he grabbed it out of mid-air.
He ran like he had never run before. He was down at Drakborough in five minutes flat. He looked aorund and saw the destruction. There were already bodies piling up. He thought with horror that this was turning into another Triangle Tunnel. His horror turned to rage and he attacked.
He drew Lightseeker and struck down the first Shadow he saw. Another shot a spell at him and he deflected it. He pointed his wand and shouted "Everriculum!" A net shot out and wrapped itself around the Shadow and electrocuted him into unconciousness.
There was a psychopath flying above them blasting away at houses. James shot a couple of spells his way but gave up. He was moving too quickly.
The raid had just barely begun, and already he had spotted James Mustang. A chance for revenge, and to please the Count. He changed his course, dodging spells while occasionally keeping up the rain of fire. The Shadow flew directly infront of Mustang's path, and circled a few times. The trail of solidified shadows formed a massive cylindrical prison around Mustang, while Tobias chuckled slightly.
From above, it looked like the arrogant little arseface stood in the center of a perfect circle, one that was mimicked in the sky above. It was time to use one of the forbidden spells his father had found. In the circle, Tobias formed a pentacle with the Shadow Trail, and muttered, "Heartless Angel...deliver thine judgement."
The Pentacle began to glow red, and fell on top of the cage which imprisoned Mustang, and began to fall. Casting a small Sonorus, Tobias spoke in his false voice, "James Mustang! Surrender yourself, or die. At the rate the Pentacle is falling, I'd estimate that you have about three minutes to make your choice before you are crushed.
Max the Ghost shimmered into visibility. It was total pandemonium. Death, shadows, clouds.. Everywhere. Not that Max particularly enjoyed these things, but they had a lure to them, because, of course, he was one of the Dead. It was only natural for him to be where it was, no matter what the situation. And of course, he was fortunate, because he happened to have already have been in the town, simply invisible. He observed everything going on..
The girl in the wheel/hover/thing chair, setting off the fireworks. She was very proficient at what she was doing, and crowd control seemed to be going well.
The absurdly tall but somehow alluring man, hacking through the crowd, not caring which side they were on. Max was very sure that this figure wasn't human, and there was a strange, dangerously calming aura around him.
The shadow, in the air, causing death and destruction.
The lycan, causing damage to the Shadows, but nothing could defeat things that simply weren't there...
The other student, with the sword, now trapped in some sort of bizzare death-object.
The horse/man type thing, of which he did not know what species it really was..
And then, the grandest figure of them all... THE Count Scorpius. Possibly one of the greatest men alive... For he WAS great, and no matter what side you are on, greatness should be Honored. And Count Scorpius was one of the grandest. The Triangle Tunnel attack was a bit sloppy, of course... But he was still amazing. He went to stand in front of the fountain on top of which he stood. He gazed up at the magnificent figure in awe.

James set to work freeing himself. He began muttering a spell in Latin. He gathered light around himself, it formed a shield around his body. He focused it and let it explode. It penetrated the shadows. His prison vanished and he dodged out from under the Pentacle.
He propelled himself upwards with magic and pointed his wand at the Shadow. The world seemed to slow down. He could see no face behind the mask. He could imagine a sneer on this villain. "You piece of shit." It was going to take more than cheap tricks to stop a Guardian. "Everte Statum!" The Shadow was knocked out of the sky and fell to the ground below.

Oh how lovely it was. The firework display was brought to the abrupt end Hayzie had predicted just as quickly as she thought. And now, chaos resumed. That was plan A defeated. But where there was a plan A, plans B and C always followed, didn't they?
Many of the villagers had followed what she had said and returned to their homes, peeking out of curtains at the progress being made outside. And from what Hayz could see, there was very little progress. And now, one of the worst things that could have happened had happened. James Mustang! Surrender yourself now, or die!
"Great. What's the betting the guy's a Gryffindor?" the blonde muttered, pulling her wand out and giving the order for the rest of the villagers to go and do what they could, leaving a large male in charge of the group. A wolf had also come to their aid, met with a cocked brow from Hayz's direction. But nevertheless... she had to help the trapped student, and fast.
Hovering over multiple dead bodies, and dodging spells to her form as best she could, most of them hitting the wheelchair, the blonde made it over to the black shadowed prison in no time. But was there any way of getting the walls to go? Hayzie had heard little of the shadows powers, only of who they were, and that they had the power to kill.
Though pinpointing the voice admist the crowd was going to be a task in itself. There were so many there, and the blonde hadn't recognised the voice at all. So, there was only one thing for it. Trial and error. Though it seemed Mister Mustang had done the job before Hayzie could even lift a wand. "Nice to see you out of there. Guessing you're here to help?" she asked conversationally while shooting a stunning spell at two people coming their way, looking non-too-impressed.
Falling. That's what it was, faling from the heavens. Ironic....starting the way the demons had. "Sodalitas Corporealus!" The shadows of the night gathered around Tobias as he fell, and he rode through the night once more. The effects of the Sonorous charm were still in effect. "The light only scatters the darkness, but does not destroy it! There will always be darkness Mustang, tis a shame your father never understood that! Talus Maximus Solvo!" It was the most advanced version of the Bone-Breaker Curse Tobias could find.
Down below, Mustang's knees, wrists, legs, arms, and skull would be broken, along with probably some of his ribs, and possibly the spine. Had he not longed to see James suffer, he would have just killed him. "Not feeling to well, are you? Well, it will take more than just a woman in a wheelchair to take me down. Tell you what, surrender, and I'll let you live. Resist, and I shall kill you in a most...painful manner."
He began to circle above, while dodging spells that had missed, and others directed at him. His firey rain had ceased, as many houses were engulfed in flame already. "Ten seconds James Mustang, make your choice."

ooc: And ignored again. Wahey!
bic: "I don't think so..." Hayzie sighed. It seemed these guys wouldn't give up on James until he died. A situation she was familiar with, definitely. Turning to the male who had cast the spell, the blonde pulled out her own wand and said, as though she were discussing the weather: "How about we take that off you now?" Followed by an Ecpelliarmus! With a jet of light, Tobais was knocked backwards, and his wand held in Hayz's grasp.
"Finite Incatum!" She called, pointing her wand at James Mustang and breaking the spell on the boy, hopefully fixing his injuries.

((See this is what happens when we all post at once. Tobias, Modify yours first))
James was shaken but Lightseeker had protected him. He muttered a "thanks" to Hayzie before rushing at the Shadow. He was pretty sure who this guy was. Two wands, Bone-Breaker Curse, a deep loathing of James. He knew who he was.
He pointed his wand at the disarmed Shadow and shouted "Everriculum!" The net incapacited the villain and he was soon rendered unconcious.
Not like this...I will not go down that easily! Ennervate....Ennervate....ENNERVATE!
Tobias' eyes shot open, and he fell through a Shadow Corridor which opened behind him, and landed on a nearby rooftop, stone and uncharred. "Ah-Ah-Ah mi'dear, you may have one of my wands, but I have the other. Accio!" Tobias' left-hand wand came back to him along with his mask, as he twirled his wands as his mask put itself on, and held the weapons at the ready. With his left, he conjured a large yellow shield, with the other, he readied his last resort curse.
"Oh how I am going to enjoy this," said he, aiming at the both of them, "CRUCIO!"
