Nothing had felt right recently. There was no way to really explain it. The world just seemed incorrect to Sylph at the moment. Things seemed out of place in her realm right now. She had been lying on her death bed during a large part of the winter with headaches and fevers. She was unable to do anything but lie in bed and read. While this enabled her to catch up on her reading on the Wart goat of Scotland, Sylph was not the type who enjoyed being cooped up.
The purple haired witch contemplated these and other such things at the coffee shop in Drakborough she'd started frequenting recently. What else could she do right now? Staring into her half-empty cup of black coffee she sighed. She felt like she was in a dream, an inescapable dream.
Taking a sip from her cup she felt and tasted the steaming, bitter coffee run down her throat. The pain made the witch wince slightly. She was awake, that was for sure. Maybe when she started classes up again she would feel more at home or maybe if Forgoil would come back...
Feeling a little restless, more so from the uncomfortable uncertainty of her thoughts than the caffeine flying through her body, the witch heaved another sigh hoping to breathe out her worries and fears. Her green eyes stayed focused on the cup she held in front of her. Her thoughts swirled like creamer in a dark bitter cup of coffee.
