His hand had been forced sooner than he would've preferred, and Tiberius had no choice now but to accelerate his plans. He had rematerialized not that far from Firefox grounds, just on the other side of Fenrir's Woods, and he trugged uphill toward the Castille with Ellesa in tow. He couldn't go back into hiding, not now afer his replica had discovered that the Shade had utterly ruined him. But taking the ardous journey instead of simply teleporting there gave Tiberius the advantage and would be a greater tool in his scheme.
Walking up the winding path with Ellesa, Tiberius recalled the first time he had walked to that place with his fellow Nephilim and fanatic Inquisition in tow. He remembered how they had slaughtered so many nosferatu, how they nearly made them into an extinct species: he could not allow that to happen again. This time he was not walking up the path to wage war, but he had other plans in mind. The night sky was beginning to pale as the first rays of light peaked over the mountains, but there was still time for him to accomplish his task.
Finally arriving with Elle before the gates of the Castille, Tiberius beckoned her to stay put and he called out in an imperious voice. "Romulus, Prince of the Undead!" roared the Nephilim as his countance changed to display the true nature of his damnation, "Here before you stands Tiberius Spurius and Ellesa, daughter of Romulus! I have come before you as promised to negogiate for your daughter's unlife. Accept my terms, and I shall return her to you. Refuse me, and you will watch as she dies."
"No sudden movements by your people or yourself, or I shall slice off her precious head," continued Tiberius in a warning tone as one of his bayonets left his jacket and pressed up against Elle's cold neck. He had to play this perfectly, Elle was his only ticket for this and if he failed now he knew that he wouldn't get a second chance at this. Green eyes flashing, the knowledge and power of the ages stored behind them, Tiberius said, "My conditions are simple: I want peace."
"Drop your vendetta that you have against me and swear on your maker that you'll never plot against me again. In exchange I shall remove all of my belongings from the Northern Tower and you will have your daughter back. My 'plague' will be ridden from your halls and you'll have won: the Castille del Nosferatu will truly belong to your people once more." Strangely enough, in every previous dealing with the vampire Romulus he had used his abilities of manipulation to aid him, but this time Tiberius wasn't using them: he was being as blunt as possible.
"Your people have grown in both number and strength, so let their numbers continue to grow and let your reign prosper. Rise your family and bring terror anew to the night," continued Tiberius as he nodded toward the sealed gates. "Honor the terms that I have offered, and you shall only hear my name whispered from that day forth. Yet if you are so set on violence, plunging your people into battle to defeat me, then do so soon. For you only have five minutes before the dawn breaks and Ellesa will see her last sunset if you say no or decide to attack me."
"Her fate is in your hands. Now choose."
ooc: First post to either Elle or Romulus. And seriously, don't post here if you don't have a legitimate reason: all of these random posting is starting to piss me off.
