(OOC: First post to Shadonius please?)
Phugsius stood with his broom on the quidditch field waiting for the recently graduated Slytherin. The prefect had asked Shadonius Clearwater to join the team. Unfortunately, Shadow didn't know how to fly a broom, yet.
Phugsius waited anxiously thinking about how 'fun' this was going to be for him. As far as he knew Shadonius and he were not the best of friends, let's just say. So Phugsius expected a lot of fight out of him. He hoped that after this they'd at least find some way to get along.

Studying the younger slytherin from afar, Shadow held his arms crossed taught across his chest as his broom hovered nearby. That's right, he had one, he'd made sure he did. Just because he didn't want to fly didn't mean he had to be completely out of the wind of it. Not that he even knew the make of the blasted thing. He just didn't really care.
Why was he even bothering?
Boredom.
"Charadus, you realise I don't have time for this," he snapped a bit, striding towards the student with the floating broomstick in tow, "I really couldn't care less on whether or not Slytherin even competed." Yes, he could treat Phugsius like dirt now. Just like he'd told him he would, because he wasn't some silly little schoolkid anymore. Oh, no. He was Shadow, graduated and already letting his ego overwhelm. Shadow. Shadonious. He was Shadonious Clearwater, dammit! Shadonious Clearwater did not take orders from weird, strangely-aging, children!
Haha, take that baby Phugsius. Phugsius in the presence of Shadonious Clearwater.
Hadn't the previous Quidditch Captain already tried to get him on a broom, anyway? That girl with the ridiculously hard to remember name. It began with an 'eff'. F something. Foo? Fuu? Fuu-yah-sa-something? Whatever, it was a damn hard name.
Oh, but that meant he sortof knew how to ride. Well.... get into the air at least. He wasn't completely stupid, he was just ignorant. He could remember that much, and then irritating the Fuu-person a little too much for her liking. It was simple, he didn't want to learn.
Although...
"....wait, why are you even asking me? You realise I graduated, right? I wasn't just kidding about that," a small frown creased between his eyebrows as he shot the boy a wary look, dusting any miniscule dirt he could find off from his muggle clothing. "Look, I'm not gonna' flutter around like some hyped-up bumblebee. I don't get why you're bothering."

Phugsius' eyes fell upon the ex-Slytherin student with a sly grin. "Well, Shadonius i'm glad to see you. I half expected you not to show, and fully expected you to say that," responding to Shadonius' remark about lack of time. "and somehow your chipper attitude manages to cheer me up" he said with a appreciative sarcasm. "and yes, I do realize you graduated, moved on, but the headmaster appears to be letting alumni come back and play, for old times sake. Unfortunately for our house our team doesn't have enough players. So I figured I'd see if someone might be willing to come back and sport the old green and silver again" He eyed his former house mate. "well, regardless, i'm glad you showed up" Instead of letting Shadow continue his smart-ass speaking spree, Phugsius decided to start the lesson. "All right, mount your broom and push off" Phugsius then demonstrated by pulling his leg up over his Airsmacker 3000 and pushed off with a jump leaving him hovering his feet a good foot off the ground. "Come on, for all your talk this shouldn't be too hard for you"
"The Slytherin team is ganna ask you to join?!" Came Malachy'a voice "Looks Like Morgan did goo in getting me out of Slytherin." Malachy jumped from the lower stands to the feild his raven wheeling around in the sky. Heh all she would have had to do is tell me you where joining my old houses team and I would have joined sooner.
Malachy wasn't wearing normal school robes he was wearing a quidditch uniform. Only it wasn't a Sytherin uniform it was blue had the Ravenclaw crest on the back. But he still had that slytherin look of arrogance for his cousin Shadow. In his hand, the hand Sning was on, was noy his wand but a large club.
"So. I'm a beater what position does Phug have you on? I hope you're a chaser, keeper or the seeker so that way I have a reason to hit a bludger a ya." Mal was almost all talk he was afraid of heights that why one would never see him on a broom, but Belasko said he could help with that. "Hey Phug say we practice together? We where BOTH on slytherin at on point had you asked me sooner I might have joined the snakes."

Oh boo. Look a wild Malachy. Must've been special, it was all blue and sparkily. How cute.
Traitor.
Plucking his broom from the air besides him and gripping it tight between his hands, Shadow shot his cousin a sly smile; contemplating just how Malachy might react to a hard whack of the polished wood against his pretty little head. It'd sure bring a smile to his lips, anyday.
Visably shivering somewhat at the mention of the ravenclaw prefect, the alumni forceably blanked the rest of his cousin's speech - shooting Phugsius a small glance as he turned his back to the albino with an indicatory nod. "Alright, I'm listening," he muttered, clear now he would only be doing this to get back at Mal. Such a lovable connection the two of htem shared.
Mimicking the actions, Shadow rolled his eyes with a small smirk, "I'm not an idiot, I know how to get into the air. It's just staying there, that is somewhat the issue." Well, this was certainly seeming a lot swifter than his last attempt. But that had been a couple of years back, in his sixth year at Firefox, and since then his balance had improved vastly. He knew it had. He couldn't exactly be an animagus of a tree-climbing mammal without learning some sort of way of keeping his grip. Who ever saw a red-panda fall off of its branch?
Though that would be amusing to watch.
"Fly away, Malachy, this is none of your business," he growled, allowing himself to rise higher in his annoyance, "Shoo, now, no-one wants to hear it."

"Yes, Malachy, i'm trying to get my Slytherin quidditch team into working order. Since you are on the Ravenclaw team I would be grateful if you let me work with Shadow alone" Phugsius kept his voice calm and respectful. He had no qualm with Malachy, except for that he had betrayed their house by falling for the allure of a woman in Ravenclaw and joined their team.
"All right Shadow, lean forward slowly and you will go forward, like so," Phugsius leaned forward and he hovered forward through the air. Now to go up you pull up on your broom stick and lean forward," He stayed leaning forward and pulled up on his broomstick and felt himself rise into the air. "All right, Shadow try it" His gaze focused on the man waiting for him to attempt the maneuver, though not difficult.
Malachy grinned at the back of Phug's head he has seen the shiver Momo's name had caused. and Mal had an idea Shad was not nearly as loyal as Phug thought. "You know shad Morgan told me she was sorry for what she did to. She wanted to tell you herself. Same as she asked me to join her Quidditch team, but I'm saving her breath.
"You know we are the same in experience, Never even rode a broom before." He pointed his wand at the stand. "Accio Nimbus!" Off of the seat where he had been seated recently a dark black broom lifted in the air and Malachy grabbed it as it zooms toward him. Now in one hand he had the borrm as his wand and the beater bat on the other.

[ooc: short but I have little time left sorry. I'll make up for it.]
Alright, easy as pie. Gently pushing his weight forwards, Shadow cringed, expecting the broom to speed off leaving him to fall unceremoniously back to the ground. It didn't though. Gliding forwards to level with his teacher, he sighed softly, shooting Phugsius a small grin. Yes, he was proud with himself. He was damn well proud of himself. His last attempt had only ended in failure, and anger.
Muttering a small curse in french at Malachy's constant interruptions, the teen's lips parted to spit back a few remarks of his own. Stupid, schemeing, little brat. He was a snake and he knew it.
Morgan had said that?
Really...?
Gaping a little, he flitted a bit to the sides when trying to get the broom to rise; slipping a bit and almost loosing his balance before gripping the handle tight. "She did...?" he whispered, clutching onto his broom in thought and shaking his head with a growl, "Malachy just go. I'm not a Raven, and I'm not so untactful to leave behind my morals and become a traitor to my house."

Phugsius decided that ignoring malachy would be the best idea for now. He needed to teach Shadow how to ride a broom if he wanted him to play in the game tomorrow.
"Good work, now what you'll need to do is try push your broom stick down to go down while moving forward, make sure you don't push too hard though or you'll end up nose diving. Now turning is just a matter of yanking your broom whichever way you want to go"
With this he removed his wand from it's place in his pocket and readied it for the possibility of the man being sent tumbling toward the earth.
