Finally, she had arrived in Spain! The first thing Illusion wanted to do was get to know her surrounding, and check out a few of the shops. She had asked someone earlier and they had given her directions to a place called Triangle Tunnel. The blonde haired girl was standing in the streets looking at all the many shops. It seemed that this place would be quick to get used to.
"Maybe I should look around first." she whispered softly to herself. "After all it would be a waste to not check out all these shops." Illusion made her decision quickly and ran into the nearest shop. She was putting off finding a job in order to have some fun. If her parents knew what she was doing, they would surely scold her for wasting time. Her pale blue eyes scanned the shop, and soon stopped on a beautiful necklace. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked at the price. It was out of her current price range, and it also became apparent that she had chosen to enter the most expensive shop first. The young adult exited the shop and decided to walk around the streets for awhile.
It suddenly occurred to her how strange it felt to be away from home. No it wasn't strange, it was more like she had complete freedom. Yes, complete freedom to have all the fun she wanted. Plus, her parents couldn't scold her for being too lazy to do her job. "Lets see... where should I go next." she muttered softly.

(Is it ok to join?)
Looking around the shops, Nadine had a small smile on her face. Finally a day off from her duties with the Ministry of Magic. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a young blond witch looked at a necklace before walking out. How much did it cost? she asked as she walked into the shop and stared at the price tage before buying it and placing it in her tail coat.
Seeing the girl again, the Ministry witch ran after her. Thank go she stopped she cheered as she walked over to the blonde. "Excuse me miss, I noticed that you were looking at this. So here," she smiled as she took out a small velvet from her coat pocket. Holding out the box, the orange haired woman grinned. "I'm Nadine, Ministry of Magic. And you are?" she spoke in a soft French accent.
Illusion turned to look behind her as she heard someone approach her. An orange haired witch had approached her, and mentioned that she had seen her looking at the necklace in the shop. Her pale blue eyes looked down at the necklace the woman was holding out curiously. Could she really accept a gift from a stranger? "Oh, you don't have to give it me. It's my fault I couldn't afford it." she said with a grin on her face. "I should have brought more money with me."
Hearing the woman introduce herself, the blond witch felt a little glad to meet someone new. "Hello Nadine. I'm Illusion, currently unemployed." she stated in a slightly cheerful tone and soft Irish accent.

"I insist. Tis the season for giving anyway," she grinned slipping the box into Illusion's hands. "And if you need help with finding a job, there are plenty of openings in the Ministry of magic," Nadine shrugged. "I was in the same situation when I first came here about a month ago," she spoke with a soft nod. "And personally I believe that they need to lighten up a bit, and you seem like the perfect person to help," the French woman smirked.
"So what do you say?" the bright blue eyed woman asked. "Do you want me to help you get a job with the Ministry?" she questioned.
The squirrel observed the pair of talking girls. They were indeed festive for the season. Hammy himself had no friends or family to celebrate with, so the closest he got to celebrating Christmas was sleeping in a pine tree. The shivering squirrel watched in disgusting bitterness before trampling off.
~ Hammy, your average multi-personality disordered squirrel/boy.
"Alright, I'll take it since it is the season after all." Illusion said smiling brightly after the box had been slipped into her hands. Of course, taking the gift meant that she'd have to get Nadine a gift later but that could wait. Anyways, the woman seemed like she could be a good friend to have. It was always nice to have friends.
Hearing Nadine mention that there were plenty of openings in the Ministry made the young witch think. Would she really be able to get a job there? After all she wasn't exactly the most enthusiastic person when it came to working. She laughed softly after hearing Nadine mention that the people in the ministry could lighten up a bit. That was one thing she enjoyed doing. Showing people that it was ok to have a little fun once in awhile. "I guess there must be a lot of people who are always serious working there then." she replied in a joking manner.
Illusion thought for a few minutes, looking at her surroundings as she did so. If she accepted this witch's offer to help her then she wouldn't be putting off finding a job much longer. Her pale blue eyes spotted a squirrel scampering off somewhere. Turning back to face Nadine, the blond haired witch decided she might as well accept her help. Anything to keep her from having to find a job by herself. "Sure, I think I'd rather have help finding a job to be honest." she said smiling brightly. "I may end up putting it off again if I have to look by myself."

"Indeed there are," Nadine smiled while rolling her eyes playfully. Seeing something move rapidly out of the corner of her eye, the young witch shook her head and laughed slightly. Illusion seemed like a good person to work in the ministry, another free spirit. Upon hearing her responce, her eyes brightened as she resisted hugging the young woman. "So what are your skills in magic. And don't worry if you join the ministry it pays well," she chirped.
Yes, she was a little ball of energy when it came to helping people. Some say it's a good thing, while most call it annoying. But who really cared when one gets to do a good deed. After calming down a bit, Naddie waited for the blonde's responce.

It seemed that Nadine was the type of person who enjoyed helping people out. Illusion laughed softly hearing the woman's reply to her comment. "If only there was a job to show people how to have some fun." the blond woman joked.
Ok, that was probably enough for the jokes for now. If she didn't get series soon, she'd look like she was hardly ever serious. Although the truth was there were rare moments of her being so. "Ok, I guess I better try to get serious for a few seconds." Illusion stated calmly her smile still wide on my face. "I'm skilled in Charms, defensive spells, and I'm fairly skilled in transfiguration. I have a very small amount of skill in legimency and occulmency. Oh, but I'm not so great in potions. I just don't have the patience to mix up ingredients. Of course my parents tell me that if I stopped being lazy and actually made one I could be good."
Illusion thought for a few seconds to see if there was anything else. That was pretty much all her skills, but she couldn't help but wonder if her admitting her laziness would hurt her chances of getting a job. That was a factor that had caused her to lose a few jobs in the past. The blond girl hated doing work that was boring and hoped to find some job that could end up being exciting.
((Sorry it took so long. I was busy during the past few weeks, plus my muse for Illusion died on me for awhile.))

After learning of Illusion's skills, Nadine started to pace trying to find a place where she could put all of her skills into use. Well there's always the Auror office she noted to herself. And there is also my department she added as she closed her eyes. "Okay Illusion, are you any good at offensive magic?" she asked politely. If she is, I'll just send word to Forbes telling him that we have a potential Auror she nodded inwardly. "If so I can see if there are any openings in the Auror office," she grinned.
Stopping Nadine smiled at the fellow free spirit. This woman was such a ball of energy, that she couldn't risk asking her to join her own department. Its too boring anyway. But easy she mused to herself.
Hearing Nadine's next question made the blond woman think. Illusion had never felt very confident in her own abilities and often said they were worse than they were. "Well, to be honest I think I'm ok. Although, I still don't think I'm quite good enough to be an auror."
There she went lacking confidence in her abilities again. Her parents had told her many times before to stop putting down her abilities in the past. Illusion may have been an outgoing, care-free young woman, but she still had problems with confidence at times.
A thought suddenly hit her. Why did she want to try to get a job in the ministry again? That was it, it may be able to help her find out the whereabouts of her brother. Of course, telling anyone this may not be reasonable right now. Suddenly, a sad look appeared on her face. "In all honesty I don't know if I would belong in the ministry." she stated her head turning to face the ground. "It only perked my interest because I though working there may be able to help me find a certain someone."
