Something Dale had been eager to do for for weeks now was turn on his gameboy. The last time he played his Pokemon game, his Marshstomp had reached level thirty-five, which meant it was about to evolve. Unfortunately for Dale, he couldn't play his gameboy in the Ravenclaw common room for fear of humiliation, especially since playing a Pokemon game was considered nerdy in muggle society. If another wizard found out, the torment would be overwhelming. Initially, Dale thought he would have to wait until the next break from school for a chance to play his gameboy. But after thinking it over a few minutes, he realized that there may be somewhere he could go where nobody would find him. He realized he should stay away from places where other students usually gathered, so the villages, the common room and even the library were not options. Then Dale thought of the classrooms. There likely wouldn't be any students in there. But after he thought about it more, he found that if a classroom was open, there would be a teacher inside doing something. Finally, the dungeons crossed his mind. Not many people would want to go down there, and there was probably a cell somewhere that he could hide in.
As he made his way deeper into the dungeons, it became darker and more difficult to see. To counter the darkness, Dale drew his wand and non-verbally lit the dungeon with a light spell. Now able to see clearly, Dale stepped farther and farther into the dungeon until he felt he was far in enough not to be discovered. As he sat in the corner of a nearby cell, he placed his wand between his legs, leaving it lit. He could have simply use the night vision function on his gameboy, but he wanted his batteries to last as long as possible. Finally, he pulled his gameboy out of his pocket, flipped the top open and turned it on, not bothering to turn the sound down. Finally, he could continue his virtual adventure to become the best Pokemon trainer in the world.
