(Shadow)
The dungeons were not exactly the best place to be at sunset. The torches gave off an eerie glow against the stone walls, almost as if you were suspecting someone to come out and scare you.
The Ravenclaw had no clue where she was going until she landed in the dark and musty corridor. She was dressed in a pair of black slacks and a blue and copper sweater that gracefully skimmed her curves. The sound of her ankle boots against the stone echoed through the dungeons.
"And let's just hope no one would want a duel down here. Unless they want to do it muggle style," she whispered to herself and watched as a white mist formed as she spoke. She had forgotten her wand back in the Ravenclaw girls dorm, and she prayed that she wouldn't need it.

Sixth year Slytherin, such fun! Shadonious Clearwater growled angrily to himself as he stood alone in the shadows of the dungeons. He was waiting, rather hoping, that one Ankea Suku of Ravenclaw would come along as he had many needs to speak with her. Failing that, Malachy Necrosa would supplement his loathing of the serpent. Malachy wouldn't know what hit him.
Arousing the teen, came the sound of footsteps on the stone floor. Shadow snapped his attention towards the sound; black, pink and blue strands falling before his cold eyes as the scanned the darkness for life other than himself.
Catching the sight of the girl, he frowned before speaking quietly through the almost intermite dark. "The dungeons are not a safe place for a young ravenclaw." If she was infact a ravenclaw, he was judging by her outfit colours. Not a safe place indeed.

Hearing a male voice speak to her, Alicia smirked and laughed softly. "And why is that?" she asked slyly before turning toward the voice. Judging by his appearance and location, there was no doubt that in her mind that he was a Slytherin. "And besides even if this wasn't a safe place to be for me unarmed, I still have my trusty pocketknife," she added with a cheerful tone. "Or of all else fails, I can run like hell," she joked.
She leaned against the wall across from the serpent and looked him over to see if he was a threat. If he tries anything I think I can take him, she mused.

Cocking an eyebrow, Shadow watched her lean against the wall. "You are unarmed, but still decide to venture towards the home of serpents? Not exactly a smart move was that, girl?" he smirked softly, brushing a coloured strand from his face.
"You'd trust a muggle invention against a wizard. Against magic. Besides, I won't hurt you without reason to do so." The teen sneered, crossing his arms over his chest and watching her closely.

"Can you stop being so condescending just for one moment in your miserable life?" she asked with a sneer. "And besides you have no clue what I'm capable of, and yes I indeed do trust this little muggle invention," she smirked as she looked up at the ceiling. "Have you ever heard of knife throwing?" she asked calmly.
"And besides, I hate fighting anyway. But I have no fear of it if the occasion calls," she muttered. Alicia had never been mad in her life, but this little punk was starting to get on a side that she never knew she had. Her calm emerald orbs brightened with an odd glint to them and held a cat like glow to them for a split second before going back. "But anyway, I'm uite sick of you calling me girl. So please call me Alicia," she said with a gentle smile.

The teen moved quickly, suddenly besides her with his skull crested palm around her throat. He was deeply pained by the life he had lead, even if his misery was partly of his choice. He growled in a whisper, "I'd think twice before insulting me again."
Letting his grasp loosen, he snarled before returning his hand to his side as he caught the glint in her eye. "No self respecting wizard or witch would trust a muggle invention."
"I'm Shadonious, or Shadow or whatever you call me, I don't care." he spoke quietly, not smiling but remaining angry.

When his hand met her frail throat, Alicia looked up at him with a calm expression. "Sorry if I insulted you, but I have to say that you started it," she spoke coolly. When his hand finally went back to his side, the Ravenclaw rubbed her neck gingerly. "One would if that is all they knew most of their life. And with the new trace that has been placed on the school, that little invention is all I have now to protect myself without being sent to Azkaban for underage magic," she whispered.
"But it's a pleasure to meet you Shadow. But may I ask why you are pissed off?" she asked as her hand went to her back pocket just in case he tried to pull that stunt again.

Sighing quietly, Shadow shook his head. "My fault I'm afraid, sorry, I wasn't intending on getting caught and the trace re-appearing." True, it was partially Gwen's fault for the dark mark but he hated to blame her. He raised an eyebrow at her comment, "Shan't you be able to use wandless magic?"
Biting his lip, the serpent growled. "Wouldn't you be? If someone had just insulted a way you lived, without knowing why you do so?"

"It's ok, it's just a mild setback," she smiled sweetly. "But yeah, I can't use wandless magic, both my parents hate me using it. You see they're muggles," she spoke shyly hpoing he wouldn't use it against her. After his growled replie to her question, she shrunk back a bit. "Sorry," she whispered sheepishly. "I wasn't thinking before I opened my mouth," she explained.
Looking down at the stone floor, she sighed. "Can you forgive me man?" she asked softly.

Shadow snarled at her words, shooting her a dirty look. "You're a Mudblood," he growled flatly, trying hard to subside his build up of anger. He still found it difficult not to over-react when someone spoke about being muggle-born. He, himself, was an unfortunate half but he had lived his life hiding away from this and claiming, as he would rather, to be pure. Three people in the whole of FFU knew that, apart from the Headmaster and Shadow. All of which he had been and was incrediably close to. He didn't open up to many.
The teen clenched his fist over the skull marking, staring at the opposite wall in thought. "No, I cannot forgive you. But I will not hold it against you as a grudge," he replied in a cold monotone, glancing back towards her. He sighed softly, tsking his tongue in annoyance of being around a muggle-born witch, as he brushed a coloured strand from his face. Still, that was not her fault.

"Yes I am what you call a Mud-blood. And I take great pride in it," she grinned. "So what's it to ya?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Over the years she had gotten used to being called such terms, so it no longer affects her. Hell I rather be a Mud-blood than a Pure Blood any day she thought to herself. Though she was normally cheerful, she was also rather easy to anger. And at this time she was glad she didn't have a wand on her.
When the Slytherin said that he would not forgive her, but at the same time will not hold it against her, she nodded curtly. "That's understandable," she replied in a monotone. "And I'm sorry that I annoy you so much. You don't have to be around me if I am that much of a nuisance to you," she told him in a plain tone.

Shadow rolled his eyes in humor, "For one, I would not take such pride in being muggle blooded."
Watching her nod, the teen sighed,"It is not you that annoys me, rather annoyance that myself cannot take your presence. However, you have not really done anything wrong, so I have no reason to hate you. Leave if you wish, I will not force you into anything." He was staying, just on the off chance that someone he knew came along, one he needed to speak with. "I wonder, Alicia, if you know anything about a fellow Raven Ankea Suku?....Wait, why are you in the dungeons at this time?"
Post by Alicia Ritter on Dec 28, 2007 12:17:55 GMT -5
"Not many do. But I take pride in what I am. And if that means I'm a mud-blood, so be it," she shrugged as if it was the easiest thing ever.
"Well nice that you offered for me to leave, but I ain't going anywhere," she smirked. "But it's nice to know that you have n reason to hate me," she laughed softly. "But no I don't know Miss Suku," she responed in an applogetic tone. The Ravenclaw couldn't help but laugh inwardly at his next question. "Why I'm here," she repeated aloud. "That Shadow I can not tell you. But I will tell you it involves a dozen dungbombs, a bunch of feathers, glue, and a rubber chicken," she stated as each supply appeared as she spoke.
Post by Shadow Clearwater on Dec 28, 2007 12:26:22 GMT -5
"Shame, I should really find her." The serpent cocked an eyebrow, watching the supplies appear. He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. "I might have to take that as my que to run," he joked quietly, eyeing the rubber chicken in curiousity.

(It's ok dude. See you later)
"Good luck on that dude," she shrugged as she eyed the rubber chicken. "Nah there's no need to run. But if you're up for a prank you're more than welcome to join the mass mayhem and chaos that is to come soon," she smirked as she picked up the rubber chicken and flicked it toward Shadow.
