Zakum had only the briefest of moments to react to this quite arrogant student's swift retaliation against their ploys. Yet for a seasoned prankster as himself, Zakum was used to having to make quick decisions, and found himself proficient in the use of several spells to be used in case discovered in the midst of plot.
"Repercuto!" he shouted as he knelt beside his partner so they both would be able to avoid whatever form of curse or jinx their 'prey' might be attempting. The seventh-years practiced spell casting being more than enough to reflect the first-years spell back towards him.
Grinning at the prowess of his companion's spellcasting, Muryllis dug through his brain at something.. fun to use on this aggressive figure. Aah, he pondered, spying a particularly large volume of "Malicious Curses of the Modern Wizard's Arsenal". Letting out a particularly nasty chuckle, he pointed at it: After taking note that he would have to look at that book later, Conjicio flashed through his mind, the hurling charm; yanking the heavy book off its perch on the desk, he sent it flying at Tobias.

Tobias leapt to the side to avoid the streams of magic sent twoards him, while also yelling Protego in his mind, causing a large, mystical, yellow shield to appear infront of him to deflect both his curse again, and the rest. He also silently praised his father for teaching him how to fight with unarmed magic before his death.
Aquavivosica He cast in his mind, before planting his palms flat on the floor. Beneath the two seventh years, two geyesers erupted vertically twoards the roof of the Library. If only he was not forbidden to kill them....if only if only....
Feeling the rumbling beneath his feet, Muryllis stepped aside, his move punctuated by a jet of water coming from his old spot. Looking back up at Tobias, he merely smiled. A first year attacking a seventh and fifth - no, wait, he pondered. He was fifteen, aye, but had he not begun schooling at age eight? Muryllis was a fully-fledged seventh year, in all technicality and theoreticalness. His smile turned into a pleasant grin.
Aiming his wand at the first year, he casted his most useful blinding charm - the instant, and thus unavoidable, Cloud Charm, conjuring a thick cloud of dense fog bound to the boy's head, leaving him in a pale, opaque darkness of thick water vapor. It never truly failed, and what was to cause its failure against a first year? We Nostri Magi students are trained from a young age as formidable witches and wizards. School has barely begun, and this first year, who has taught himself out of books and old mens' teachings, decides to go toe-to-toe against two wizards leagues ahead of him. Nope, ain't gonna work.
Unfortunately for Zakum, he was not as quick to react as his partner. A jet of water rushed over him, drenching him from head to toe before, wet and bedraggled, he stumbled backwards out of the path of the water; sputtering and wiping his eyes. It annoyed him that this first year would use a spell so easily mimicked by a sprinkler against him. Clearly it was time to try to end this before they did any lasting damage to the library, which might costs him dearly in house points.
"Petrificus totalus!" he shouted, almost right after his partner had cast his own spell. No matter how much prior training, two spells cast against one person, especially in light of their vast difference in school years of experience would most definitely have potent results.
Tobias was suddenly blind, and paralyzed. He had enough time to say, "FU-" Before his vocal cords failed all together. Rash, compulsive....dammit I should have thought that one out. Stuck on his face was a look of rage against the pair who had bested him. Next time...next time he would keep his wand, and curse them into Oblivion. Until then. May spiders nest and lay eggs in your brains.
"Erm........well then." Zakum said, seeming almost surprised he had actually bested someone in a duel of sorts. Setting down Tobias' wand cautiously, he crept closer to the cursed boy. At least, close enough to prod him a few times with his wand, which he set about immediately.
"Well then, Muryllis, what do you think we should do with him? I'm all for just leaving him here and getting the heck away before and staff member arrives to see we've been bullying a first year." he said, backing away, edging with certainty towards the exit of the library. "I suppose the best thing to do would be to leave immediately, so unless you have any objections, that's what I'll be doing now."
Dramatically blowing some conjured smoke off the tip of his wand, he laughed as Zakum began to prod the defeated kid with his wand. "Aye, I think t'would be best to leave right about now." Turning on his heel and beginning to leave with Zakum, he quickly enchanted both of them with full-body silence charms, turning their thudding steps to complete silence. Thus, they left, the first-year 15-year-old laying on the ground, bound with a Petrificus; a cloud bound to his face, rendering him completely blind; and laying on a perfectly drenched floor, a used-to-be thick volume on curses soaking up the water in a pile in the corner.

To leave, and let me tell the teachers who left me paralyzed and blind lying in the middle of the library? Not a wise idea on your part. Tobias had no idea he could actually send messages telepathically to people. He knew he could do it with some animals, but never before with a person.
Jeremy had heard immense noise come from the library, and rushed in. He immediately noticed a lot of water on the floor, and a torn up book. Jeremy saw a kid on the floor, paralyzed, and possibly petrified. He carefully walked to the kid, managing not to slip on the water once. Jeremy looked any other kids, who might of done that to him. Currently, he saw no one, no one besides the kid. The Gryffindor Prefect walked right in front of the kid, and bent down at the knees. He was now about a foot away from the kid. "Tsk, tsk, it didn't seem like he had a chance to begin with. The new kid had to face a adept wizard, or a wizard who is good at making trouble.
"Finite Incantatem," roared Jeremy. He hoped it work, and knew it did as the kid's color came back. Before he even heard the kid make a sound, he started talking, "Looked like you got killed for a second. Good thing I took Charms class, or you might of been there for quite a while." Jeremy knew that it had to be some what the new kid's fault, so he had no pity. He circled around the kid, wand still in his hand. "Accio book," whispered Jeremy. He had it hover right above the kid.
"Now tell me, how did all this happened? I can tell if you are lying, and so you know, you are part of this mess. If you do not cooperate, I might be forced to deduct house points from your house. Actually, it will just help me, so give me a slight reason why to deduct house points, and I will jump at it. Also, tell me your name, and the kids who was involved with this. Or whoever else it was," quietly said Jeremy. He was having fun with this, and knew that the answer should be fun. Jeremy sat on a chair, and looked at the kid. He made sure there would be no way to attempt an escape.bg
Tobias let a sigh of releif after getting feeling back in his body. "Thank you. Its amazing how stiff one gets when like that." He stood, and stretched, before taking a seat as well. "Alright, my name is Tobias Selther, First year Slytherin. I was here, looking up assorted charms, spells, hexes, curses, when this odd Ravenclaw chap came up. We chatted a bit, before this other Slytherin by the name of Zakum came along, and demanded me to bow before him, and I was at wand point. I disarmed him, and then the two of them essentially attacked me. I fought back, I lost. By what I gathered, the Ravenclaw's name was Muryllis...or something like that." Tobias explained everything calmly, not really caring. He just knew that he was going to kick their arses one of these days. "And that's basically it in a nutshell."
"Muryllis! I knew he would stick up for the bad side, but to actually fight you. No offense, you are new and he isn't," Jeremy yelled. He was mad that another kid would fight another kid. Zakum was a new name to Jeremy's ears. "I will give Muryllis and Zakum a warning. Also, here is your warning. If you happen to be in another fight, your fault or not, there will consequences! Fighting is no good, besides at the dueling hall, and that also goes for revenge," roared the Gryffindor Prefect.
Jeremy knew that he had to be strict, and lay down the law, and lay it down hard. He pulled the book away from the kid, and looked at him. "So you were studying Charms? Well then this looks like this is your fault," whispered Jeremy. He had been going on voice changes all day. He held the ripped up charms book up high. I don't know if he is telling me everything, thought Jeremy.
"Also tell me what happened. How water is on the floor, and what spells were used. I need a full report, and the more you cooperate, the better it will be for you."bg
Tobias let a deep sigh. "Technically, I was studying curses. Muryllis was studying charms, and he was the one who came to me. Alright, lets see, first Zakum appears and holds me at wand point, I cast expelliarmus on him, then Muryllis disarmed me, then hit my wand with some expelliarmus-wingardium leviosa combination, Zakum then tackled me attempting to trip me over, I then cast Umbrasima Corprealus, they dodged and Zakum shot a Repercuto spell at me while Muryllis threw that book and casted what looked like Conjicio at me, I leapt and cast Protego, before using the Aquavivsica spell on them, (which explains the water), before they both hit me with Petrificus Totalus and a Cloud charm, which led to me lying on the ground and you finding me. Detailed enough for you, sir?"
"Yeah, good enough. But I am afraid that since you causes the water, you must clean it up. Since you seem to be a 'master' of spells, you can use magic to do away with the water. IF you don't know a spell, then you'll have good old labor work. Also, if you feel that you are injured, you should go to the Hospital Wing. From what i heard, they have a good nurse by the name of Kasey. I will explain the book, and what had happened to the librarian, and if anyone asks, I will say what you said. But until I hear from Muryllis or Zakum, I can't do anything to penalize your house," Jeremy told Tobias. He was happy with his decisions, and what he had said.
Jeremy walked over to the librarian, and explained the situation that had occurred. He left out names of the kids, just in case the librarian would take matters into his own hands. Now to find Muryllis or Zakum, thought Jeremy. He knew this could be difficult, but knew he had to handle the concluded situation. As Jeremy started to walk through the exit, he turned around and said to Tobias, "Stay out of trouble." Then he walked out, on his search for the two kids.
"Thank you." Tobias said simply, drawing his wand as the prefect left. That went easier than expected....those two would be the first to go... With a simple incantation, and a wave of his wand, the water was gone, and it was almost as if he was never there....except for the book. As he finished picking up the items that had fallen on the floor, one page was left on the ground, that stood out. Tobias picked it up, scanned it quickly, and smiled before tucking the sheet into his cloak. It wasn't a complete waste after all. He then turned, and went to his dorm for some sleep.
