Students were beginning to prowl the outside again as the sun drifted below the mountains behind the water of the Lake. Some laughed and splashed in the puddles that remained, others dressed in heavy rain boots and waddled through the wet grass towards their destination - possibly the town of Drakborough.
Serxika, however, was doing the exact opposite. While he had been one of two who had ran happily into the previous torrent, he was now among the few who remained inside. Some would argue he had just come in...but either way, there was a method to his madness. He was going to meet someone, his first friend, Alizabeth, who he had just met earlier in the Rain.
In his arms, which were pressed against his chest, were two gifts. As he entered the library, he tried desperately to hide them inside his cloak, and seemingly did so. Who knew? Serxika was known as 'Troy' to her. So Troy did step past the few others sitting and reading in the large room and enter into a small quiet room which held no one. Hopefully she would be here...soon.

Stupid muffins. She'd wanted a cupcake, but nooo, the House Elves had thrust a bag of muffins in her hands and sent her out of the kitchens quickly, obviously learning from some source what too much sugar could do to the girl. The baked goods were quite delicious, though, but that still didn't seem to end her craving for icing. Oh, well, what could you do, eh? Instead, Alizabeth Wells skipped down the halls, her light messenger bag bouncing at her hips, bag of muffins held tightly in her arms.
She'd changed after coming in soaked from the rain earlier that day, due to the "icky sticky" feeling the drenched outfit created on her thin form. Instead, she wore a simple t-shirt and light blue pajama bottoms, which recieved a few odd looks on their own. The girl didn't seem to wear her uniform all that much, rule or not; just for classes actually, but still. The robes in themselves limited her mobility, not to mention that the hem had tripped her up once or twice before. Her brown wavy hair was pulled back into a pony-tail, parts of it still dripping from either a shower or the storm that day; you're intitled to your own opinion, of course.
She was headed directly to the library--after her unexpected and small detour to the kitchens, of course--to meet her friend, Troy. Of which, she'd named.. that very day. But, that's nothing to do with the moment, I guess, as Katie's attention span is nearly as short as Alizabeth's at the moment. >.>
She dashed into the library, dropping the skipping pace for a quick-stepped walk, commonly seen as a run anyways. She looked around happily, unfortunately not spotting Troy in all her hyperness. So, in an attempt to wait for the Gryffindor boy, she lugged her bag and muffins over to the shelves of the place, examining for books she hadn't quite read yet. Yes, contrary to popular belief, Ali did tend to read her fair share of books. Sure, she didn't get through most of them, her lack of patience took care of that part, but she read some, nonetheless.
"Yo!" Troy shouted across the Library, garnering some looks from the other denizens of the facility, whose expressions were glazed with chagrin at his insensitivity. "Sorry." He whispered softly, hoping to appease. He ran over towards the girl, almost dropping what was inside his robes.
He smiled at seeing her again, already all changed but her hair still soaked. The white haired boy had not changed whatsoever - his body was covered by the black robe and Gryffindor badge. However, neither of these shown any sign of being wet - probably due to some magical dry-cleaning. "I got you something," he said quickly, hardly able to contain himself. Being a friend was something that was so cool - and the chance to give her what he got her was even cooler...plus if he left it in his robes it might break.
He pulled out two things. One was a rather large cupcake covered in a white and black icing, and the other was a stuffed Hippopotamus. "I thought you might like this...and the Hippo, well, I thought you might like that too." His smile attempted to stay afloat as he waited for her response, wondering whether he had done the right thing.

Alizabeth grinned happily as she found whom she'd been looking for. Yup, you guessed it, Troy. Who else, eh? Not like she knew many more people at this point. Nonetheless, she whipped her head around to the sound of the increasingly familiar voice, the wetness spewing droplets of water in ... well, nearly every direction.
And believe it or not, she was just about to offer him a muffin when ... well, he held out a present for her ... or, rather, two. At that simple action--okay, and the cupcake in his hand--her eyes grew rather abnormally large. "How did you know!?!?" she asked, amazed at how he'd gotten exactly what she wanted. Yes, now was when she deemed Troy psychic. And without further ado, the girl broke out into a huge smile.
She set her stuff quickly on the floor beside her, oblivious to the tables not too far away that were created to hold such things, and took the items from him, her eyes shining with happiness. She stuck a finger into the icing on the cupcake and placed said finger in her mouth, letting out a little 'mmmmm' at the delight of the sugary... sugar.
She was in the midst of examining and naming the hippo when ... well, she remembered what had been bruising her leg through her bag as she ran. "Oh!" she gasped, falling quite ... well, ungracefully onto her butt on the floor as she dug through the bag, eventually pulling out a rather large hard-back book.
She pursed her lips as she read the title, grinning as she realized she'd grabbed the right one. "Look!" she exclaimed, holding the book out to him. "It's you!" she pointed to the title, 'Troy.' She'd persuaded her father to buy the thick history of the war for her not too long ago, but she hadn't really gotten past the first few pages. Which would explain why it looked so brand-new still.
"You can have it!" she informed him, nodding happily. "It's really boring, though, but I thought you'd like to see it. I found it in my trunk, but I never read it. Well, I read the first few pages, but I don't remember any of it, I don't think ..." She scrunched up her face in her pause, trying to figure out if she did remember anything from the five or so pages she'd read.
[[sorry for the long wait and rather ... sparse post, but >.> yeah ... got sidetracked and homework and stuff v.v]]
