The library door opened, and in walked the newest intern for the Ministry of Magic. Jeremy had recently been accepted to intern with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He didn't care which department he would interned for, he just wanted to be of some assistance to the Ministry. The Gryffindor also thought that this would be a great learning experience.
He came here today because he was informed, by the Ministry Office of Internships, that he should study up on the Defense Against the Dark Arts. Jeremy regretted never taking the class last year, but he felt actively participating in the class this year, and studying once in awhile, will make up for the lost time.
Jeremy randomly picked a bookcase, and searched for a book that was about DADA. He looked for a few minutes until finally finding a book that he thought would be able to help him. Jeremy sat down at a nearby, vacant table. He wasn't much of a studier, and honestly he didn't know exactly what to look for. This is useless, he told himself, after only reading two pages.
The Gryffindor placed the book onto the table, and rested his head upon it. His shoulder length hair acted like a cushion, which was the only thing it was good for. Jeremy knew that he needed a new game plan if he wanted to learn about DADA now. Maybe I can schedule a private lesson or something? Or maybe the regular class will be good enough, he contemplated to himself.

Conor jogged into the library, and after undergoing a horrible beating by the librarian " No running in the library!", he spotted Jeremy. Now, you wouldn't usually find Conor in the library, but this was important.
He had been accepted as an intern with the Ministry. The Ministry had just written him a letter stating that Jeremy would be a good study partner. Conor had agreed so here he was. In the library.
Seeing Jeremy sleeping on a book, he scoffed, then ran over to Jeremy's table and slammed a very big book on the table. " Heh, that should do it." Jeremy didn't seem in to this that much, so Conor would help.
Jeremy quickly jumped up, wand drawn, ready for for an ultimate battle. "Oh, it's you," he said quietly, relieved that he didn't had to fight. He set his wand on the table, and said, "I guess I am a little wand happy." The kid that was before Jeremy was Conor Arch, a student who he had never met face to face, but Jeremy had heard him introduce himself to someone else. He sat back down on the seat that he had fell asleep upon.
The book that Jeremy rested his head on moments earlier, could now be found in his lap. He flipped to a random page to find a spell that he never heard of. He guessed that most of the contents of the book would be new to him, or at least unfamiliar. Jeremy closed the book once more, and ignored its existence. The Gryffindor often got frustrated when he didn't know something well, mostly if he had to know it.
He returned his attention back to the kid that had woken him up. "So, Conor, what brings you here?" he asked, not knowing that he was also in the Ministry. Jeremy actually were only aware of two people in the Ministry, Julius Plutus and Julian Forbes. I should go to the Triangle Tunnel more often, to see them in action, he thought to himself. Jeremy hadn't visit the Triangle Tunnel after Count Scorpious attacked it.

Jeremy had jumped up, ready to defend his life or something, only to find wandless Conor Arch. He was sleeping on the job. He really did deserve that.
"Well, Jeremy, like you, I've been accepted to intern with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. They sent me a letter telling me you would be a good study partner, so here I am."
Conor put on his most innocent face and sat down. " So, perhaps, instead of reading our days away, we should go to the dueling field?"
Conor definitely enjoyed dueling more than reading, anyday. So, he unsheathed his wand like the speed of light, flicked it, and sent the books off to return themselves.
" So, what do you think? Duel? Or read? I vote for dueling."
Jeremy was happy to see another student who decided to intern with the Ministry, mostly one that decided to intern in the same department as himself. He watched as the books magically return to their shelves, wishing that he was as good of a wizard to be able to do that.
The question that was before Jeremy, whether he wanted to duel or read, was an easy one to answer. "I will happily duel you Conor," he started and than added, "It will be funner, and it will be a better learning experience." Jeremy wasn't an excellent dueler, but he knew the basic spells that are most common in duels.
The Dueling Field was new to Jeremy, and he didn't exactly know where it was. He was so used to the Dueling Hall that whenever he wanted to watch a duel, he went to where it was, until it got destroyed in the Shadow War. The field was outside, but still on school grounds. Jeremy thought that the fresh air would be good for him, and not the mustiness of the library. "Lead the way," he said, as he stood up.
