The Library was pretty empty this after noon. It was Sunday, and all but a group of Ravenclaws seemed to be enjoying the weather, which was actually nice that day. Not only Ravenclaws occupied the library. There where a few students catching up on their work. And a pale faced Slytherin 6th year. He sat way in the Back of the Library At at table that was between the wall and the last of the voluminous bookshelves.
The boy had a book open in front of him but he wasn't really reading it. He had sent a message via owl to the Gryffindor prefect to meet him here. He sat here waiting. He had many things on his mind and a lot to talk about. Much included what he had found in the crypt a week before. As well as a few things he found out.
(Ashelle next please and this RP takes place before Malachy meets Ruusu or Morgan, but after his first visit to the Crypt.)

Ashelle had been about to climb the staircases to the Gryffindor Tower when a school owl had found her and delivered a note from Malachy. Either this boy is very needy or he is worried about his snake, thought Ashelle to herself. I should rest but I suppose I could sit in the library for a while instead of my dorm room. After all the Library IS closer. Making her way to the library was harder than she thought. After running all that way her legs just wanted to collapse. At last she made it to the Library and smelling the air quickly found where Malachy had sequestered himself.
"He was very helpful, thank you Malachy." said Ashelle appearing to pat Malachy's hand with hers. Sning slithered back to Malachy, leaving Ashelle free to flop onto the chair opposite from the boy. "Oh my Goddess, what a day! That Lord Azrael is either a truly unknown genius or an absolute fool and either way he has enough of a dandy in him to make ten Casanova's blush beet red."
All this was said in a soft whisper but Ashelle exasperated tone could still be clearly made out. She was still breathing hard and anyone could see she was in need of a hot meal and some pumpkin juice or maybe something stronger. "If I had my old strength, that run wouldn't have been a problem," she murmured. "I chose a very inconvenient time to fall ill."
Malachy held out huis hand and the sliver serpent slithered back around his finger. Welcome back friend. He thought and then felt the squeeze in greeting for his reflective friend. He looked back up and listened with a polite smile and waited for her to finish. And had to smile at the last comment.
No it was his turn. "Your welcome, Sning is always a great help." He said and the he looks around. No one was really around but what he had in mind he know would be bad to have over heard so he took out his wand and pointed int in the air. "Muffiliato" He said knowing that it would protect people that where not in this little alcove of the Library from over hearing them.
"Sning wasn't the only reason, I brought you here, I'm sorry that you're ill, but I thought some of it might be important for you to know." He said. He put his wand in hison one pocket and then fished for something from the other. He pulls out a small finger full of what looked like gray animal fur mixed with strands of black human hair. It was the fur of Fenris Fenrir, along with a few of his human hairs.
"I went to the crypt and I found this in an opened tomb. I think you know what it is, and let's say I think you did the right thing by helping Marc, as well as by helping the owner of this fur." He said with a sly grin. there was no way anyone could have told him. And he knew this was might well blow up in his face but he needed to let her know what he knew. He wanted her to trust him

Ashelle blinked . . . had she told him Marc's name? Noooo, infact she had barely told him any of that. She frowned. Was she so easy for a Legimend to penitrate? She debated on letting her feelings get the better of her and shouting at him to keep his Legimency to himself, be decided against it.
"You don't have to be sneaky like that you know," she said. "If you are a Legimend just say so . . . and if you are going to be seeing into my thoughts without my permisstion there is a price to pay . . . you must teach me Legimency . . . and Occlumency too if you know it." Ashlee felt the need to get huffy but then relized if he could see recent events he might be able to see past ones too . . . like . . . Ashlee shook her head. A key of Occlomency was keeping thoughts you didn't want seen out of ones mind. She would not dwell on that right now.
"At anyrate, why in the world would you want Fenrir's hair? Make sure to wash it before you try anything with it. That guy was so dirty I am sure it was mostly the dirt Marc smelled and not his actual smell. I know I did. Phew!" Ashelle didn't trust Legimends at all . . . she hated that they were one of the only people who could expose her secrets simply by her walking past one.
Malachy smiled and shook his head. "No, no I'm not a very good Legimend, and I wouldn't use such a practice on a person like you. But I'm not bad at Occlumency, All you really do is meditate and clear you mind completely of focus all your mind's attention on a single thing, like a color. That way alll the see is the color and have to make their presence known to do anything."
"I'm getting off topic, I'm getting off topic. I did not use legimency on you. even if I had i wouldn't have found the fur. I took a little of your advice. I when to the crypt the day after we first talked. That is where I learned what I know." he he paused. Letting the information sink in a little bit. He had just taught her occlumency, She hadn't practiced it but now she knew how. He also needed to think of how to word what he told her next with out sounding insane.
"I descovered that I have a gift." He stated. "A gift, it seems that runs through my fathers side of the family and has since Sning was created I believe." This knowledge was owed to the fact that he had owled his father about what had happened and had gotten a response explaining everything. "According to the family records Sning is a snake shaped silver golem, created by our oldest know ancesstor. He specialized in both alchemy and necromancy. The later seems to carry a gift to the first child of each generation. The ability to contact those that can no longer speak." He said, with a bit of a poetic flare. "Ashelle, I am a medium. And when I entered the crypt the voiced of the voiceless lead be to the tomb where they had Fenrir chained up and pointed me to the hair. Then they provided me a vision. and showed the most previous event therein." He said finishing his explanation of how he knew.
"As for what I intend to do with the hair and fur? First I will be separating the two. If I remember right Fenrir's fur was gray, not black, and there is certainly black amongst the gray. Once done I have something useful for each. The Human hair will go into a polyjuice potion, and the fur... i will find potions that involve Lycan fur, and see what I can make." He said, now answer her question about the fur.
Finally he needed to let her know she wasn't alone. "I don't know much about the black forest church, but I believe I am on you side, not theirs. As you said, every one has a place in this world. you now have a Slytherin as an ally." He smiled at her. "Any other questions, comments, or word of enlightenment, Miss Rainier?"

Ashelle wanted to tell her Slytherin always had been her ally - her whole family had been Slytherin till herself . . . but she wasn't sure he'd understand what she meant. He might think her odd for thinking as she did. But one thing she knew for sure. She knew the shelf life of Polyjuice Potion was not all that long, once one added the person part.
"Yes I do have something to say," she told him, "Be careful to not add the hairs to Polyjuice Potion till you are ready to use it . . . with the hairs in it it has a shelf life of a few weeks tops. If you don't add them you can save it for much longer - but don't reheat it till you are ready to use it . . . . it is very delicate and you can only reheat it once."
Ashelle thought for a moment and added, " and don't ever let Fenrir catch you in his form or in his forest. In the first instance you'd be dead before you could explain yourself . . . in the second if he didn't like the few seconds of explanation he might grant you, you also be dead. He is a difficult and dangerous man to cross, and he may owe me for rescuing him but I won't be using that favor on you. I might need it for Marc soon. Using it up before that is out of the question.
. . . . but thank you - for being on my side," she added softly. Even she had to admit one Fool-hardy Slytherin was better than no one at all. "If you ever need any information, I will be glad to answer any question to the best of my ability."
Malachy listened to what she had to say, and not all of it he agreed with. He knew enough about polyjuice potion. In fact he wasn't new to brewing it. But the last time he did so, was another story for another time. As for Fenrir he didn't know what he should do. He wouldn't tempt the forest unless it was his las resort.
"No questions now. And I understand. If you needed me just send an owl or patronus. the later maybe more suitable during times when I would be in my dorm since birds don't fair well in underground." He said, not know she couldn't cast a patronus, but he assumed that a prefect would know.

Ashelle's eyes flew open wide at the mention of patronuses. She'd never actually been taught that spell yet seeing as there hadn't been DADA classes in a while (and she'd been sick besides). Ashelle suddenly wondered if she'd missed that class, that would really suck . . . she really could use that spell!
Ah well, she thought, I am sure I will learn it soon. "Very well, Malachy, I will be in touch. Thank you for letting me borrow Sning he was most helpful." She then smiled at Malachy and got up to go. It was good to finally have people on her side. People who cared about her problems . . . like . . . like a family almost.
