The Library. It was a new place for Dana Peewinkle. She had not long arrived at this school, a month to be exact. And already she had wished that she could start a new. After admitting that she liked girls to another student, Echo, she had figured to start again. Instead of finding a partner she would search for some friends. There was already a couple-- Echo and Malachy --but that was about it. Dana desperatly wanted to find someone else. Yes, Mal and Echo were good friends but they are only two people. She wanted at least five friends.
But Dana knew that to get five friends—she has already got at least two –she would have to work hard on her personality. Usually she would snap at people and say nasty things about them. But she needed to start over. Already attempting this she had helped a troubled Gryffindor—October Cinders –to reach his Common Room. But still she had got a little frustrated so she needed to be able to talk without getting frustrated. This was her reason for coming to the library.
Usually many people just sat here and read. But that was good as she wanted many people to come she could meet them. But knowing her luck she would get someone horrible who would just try to bring her back to the ‘dark’ side. She tried and tried to think that she would never go back but even though she tried sometimes she failed.
Sitting at the center table Dana picked up the nearest book to her. She didn’t read it she pretended to whilst looking around for a victim who could be her new friend. Crossing her fingers behind the book Dana hoped that God liked her and would send someone who will be nice.
DERP!
