Her legs were threatening to buckle as the little Ravenclaw carried a pile of fairy tales that towered over her head to one of the tables. The activity seemed normal for the little girl that loved fairy tales but if only she knew that one ability of hers would ruin a 'normal' day...If Selly did, then she would have stayed in her room.
Suddenly silver eyes were unfocused as one of her feared nightmare visions came to view in her mind as she became unaware of her surroundings.
~Vision~
Instead of quiet, Selena could feel herself panting and sweating as she was running in an area that seemed unknown that yet supiciously looked like a alley. A dark one that obviously had a dead end if one had read and watched horror. Selly felt the rush of adrenaline that quickly told her that she was afraid of whatever was chasing her.
Footsteps and a cry were heard behind her and the little Ravenclaw couldn't define it. Then it made her wonder; What was she running from?
But turning back was never a smart thing to do when you're obviously running for your life. Haven't you seen what happens to the victims that do in horror movies?! They end up dead!
D-E-A-D!
But she was already at the predicted dead end and had no choice but to turn around...And screaming a spell that seemed familiar and yet not so.
~Vision Ends~
Books were lying all over the floor around Selena as she was rubbing her head and she collecting what had just happened.
I hope no one saw that...
A half hour in her vision was only fifteen minutes on the cold floor with a vacant stare in lifeless silver ice eyes.

Finding himself back in the school, and alive, Ignatius decided to visit some of the other facilities he had originally overlooked before classes had begun. Slytherins generally looked down upon the use of the library, viewing those old dusty tomes to be chains to the past instead of a drive to a glorious future. Then again, there were some in his house who believed that knowledge was a further tool for use in ambition.
Either way, Ignatius at least wanted to take a look. Plus he'd heard the Librarian was funny.
The Slytherin gently opened the doors of the library, the cold stone hallway opening up into the expansive, warm and welcoming vault of books. Ignatius instantly felt a happy feeling fill his stomach as he stepped onto the carpet, not because he was a fan of reading, but because he knew this was a place where lots of people came to enjoy themselves in an easy way.
Ignatius pretended to search through the shelves, not really interested in anything available. "Potions, by Miranda" seemed like your average wizarding cookbook, except instead of bean casserole you'd probably find an elixir of death. Switching into the fiction section - for even wizards had fiction - the boy was met with a rather frightening sight. A girl was recovering from some kind of faint, stretched along the ground near the other end of the shelf. Ignatius ran to her and bent over. "Are you alright? You seemed to have quite a nasty fall."
"Are you alright? You seemed to have quite a nasty fall."
Selena could only nod as her head ached as an reaction to the vision that had just happened about an half hour ago. Would that count being unconcious or just a faint considering the time difference between them? Or just a simple case of a black out also considering the number and heaviness of the books she was carrying earlier which might indicate that one of them might have just slipped off of the pile and fell on her head?
She tried to stand up but ended up leaning against the shelf for support. The familiar feelings of exhaustion and fatigue fell over her and the little Ravie ended up sliding to a sitting position on the floor again, practically half asleep as she seemed to slump over. All Selly could do was mutter a word before finally falling asleep.
"Tired..."
Back to the nightmares her mind goes.

At further examination, the girl appeared to be a first year. That would explain why all the books she had scattered about from her fall were fairy tales. While Ignatius was looking around, the girl had suddenly decided the middle of the library was a good place to take a snooze. This certainly made things awkward. "Oh goodness," said the Slytherin, looking around the room for some other people who might've witnessed this, "here? Are you narcoleptic or something?"
What was he supposed to do? He couldn't just leave her here, to have her grabbed by some perverted seventh years. Besides, even if the worst case scenario hadn't come to pass, who knew when she'd wake up? It could be hours until then, and the library might already have been closed for the night. He shivered at the prospect of a poor little girl awakening to find herself trapped in a large cold room overnight. If she was lucky the Headmaster might find her but still...
Then, well, the obvious idea occurred to him. He stretched out his hand and gently shook her repeatedly. "Hey...can you...wake up now? Please?"
((Cue for the Librarian or any professor to come in...))
It was certainly a good thing that Selly was NOT wearing the school uniform and just the faded black jeans and a long sleeve shirt. No perverted seventh year would dare to grab her since her moonstone pendent is cursed so that whoever decided to kidnap her would be in a whole world of hurt.
And if by the time Selena had woken up to be trapped in the cold room at night...At least there are the books and sometimes the ghosts to comfort her.
"Hey...Can you...wake up now? Please?
But when he gently shook her in an attempt to wake up, her eyes had shot open but the Ravvie was still trapped in the vision trance. Silver eyes still frozen and unfocused.
And it's likely that the vision is repeating itself...

Just then, Professor Munro happened to be researching things for his class. He finally decided that going as close back to normal as possible was the best solution. He was just settling down to a book on the constelations of the zodiac, when he heard a loud noise, as though someone had dropped a lot of books. A quick look around revealed nothing, however, and since no cry of help followed the noise, he was sure whoever had dropped said books was going to be okay.
About a half hour (?) later, he was returning his book to their proper places, when he noticed a book he hadn't gotten out, but which was on his table. He decided he should return it anyway. It was titled, Tales of Faerie Around the World. He flipped through it carefully, but there was no refrence to kelpies, so he walked to the fiction section. "Selena?"He recognized the girl slumped against the bookcase from his classes. Some Slytherin he didn't recognize was with her.
"What happened to her?" he asked, concern in his voice. There was no proof that the boy had anything to do with he condition, and in fact, all the evidence pointed to his trying to help her. "Did you see what happened?"
The new voice...It was familiar to the little Ravenclaw but was unable to recognize the professor due to being trapped inside her own mind...Trapped in the vision of what might happen.
Selena felt the darkness cover her unfocused, silver eyes as her eyes start to close again and another wave of fatigue swept over her. Her body relaxed and went limp from the tension of the vision...Her mind becoming numb from the shock and fear felt from it. It was even hard to tell if the firstie was even breathing or not.
She finally went to sleep...
(Still alive!)

ooc: Sorry! I haven't had the chance to post in a really long time!
ic: "No," came the Slytherin's [quick?] response to the Astronomy Professor's question. Ignatius had never met the man before, but he'd heard rumors around the school of the questionable actions and background of the teacher. It had nothing to do with Ignatius not signing up for his class, however. That was more to do with the fact that out of all the classes to take at Firefox, taking a class that charted the stars seemed very bland.
And he didn't have to.
"I was just looking around and...well, I found her. I tried to wake her up, because I didn't want her to just lie here, and she could've had a concussion or something. I also...didn't know you were here. All she did was mutter something about being tired and then gave me a look right out of The Exorcist. Forgive me, Professor, but is this normal behavior for fainting?"
"No, that's definately not normal. By the way, what do you mean by the excorsist? You can tell me as we take her to the hospital wing." He gently scopped the little girl up in his arms. She was remarkably light, like she never got enough to eat. The professor began walking towards the exit of the library. He didn't even pause as, passing the check-out counter, he said, "Mr. Matthews, the girl fainted in the fairy tale section. I'm taking her to the hospital wing, but there are still a bunch of books scattered on the floor."
As Ryder carried her away from the Library, Selena's black messenger bag was left behind next to a chair near the table the professor had found the fairy tale book. But along with her bag, her sketchbook was left behind as well.
The charmed sketchbook that hide nightmares underneath the childish dreams.
When they left it behind, they left behind whatever clue that could tell the student and the teacher what had happened to the little girl...And clue them in on her own psychic ability.
Leafing through the fiction section, TJ pulled out a eye-catching book in the 'New Arrivals' section. It was unique and intriguing, the colors and the introduction equally appealing. After thumbing through the pages and skimming the content, the brown-haired teen decided to read the whole book. Spotting an empty table near the fairy-tale section of the library, the boy approached it and pulled up a chair.
He started at the beginning of the book when he realized there was something on the chair next to him. He glanced closer, to realize it was the bag he always saw Selena tugging around. He picked it up, a puzzled look on his face, as he looked around for his little raven-haired pal. "Selly?" he said tentatively, his eyes searching the room. After deciding she must have left it on the chair accidentally, the chocolate-haired Ravenclaw picked up the bag and walked to the checkout desk.
"Uhm, Mr. Matthews, I'm going to check this book... uhh... 'The Wish'? Is that okay?"
Ten minutes later, the boy's book was in hand and the messenger bag slung across his broad shoulders. He looked down at the black bag. He would have to find Selena and give it back. Flipping open the bag, he discovered a few books, a set of pastels, pencils, ink, pens, and a small notebook. The little artist at work. The boy smiled and closed up the bag, heading to his next class.
Little did he know that this bag held untold horrors, and the only clues to psychic capacities of Selena Wolfsong.
OOC: This okay? I wanted to do something with the bag.
Teagan Offline: This board is full of nostalgia.
