OOC: First post to Willow please. ~~~
Lucius wandered the shelves of books in the library, a specific book constantly eluding him. Given his lack of skill and knowledge in potions, the teen was looking for a specific book to help him.
"Ugh... Why does the one book I'm trying to find be so hard to find?"
Checking the shelves one at a time, he was drawing a blank so far... So he started to poke around the less visited shelves, trying to find the single potions book he was after. Muttering dark words under his breath, he stepped out into the aisle without looking where he was going. At the speed he was going, if anyone walked into him without paying attention, they'd be knocked flying.
There was this funny thudding sound, and it took Willow a few seconds to place it. Somebody was thumping book after book back onto the shelf with annoyed force. The lycan stepped around the shelf to see what was up about time Lucius stepped out of the aisle.
Collision was unavoidable. Willow, being a lycan, was pretty stable, but it still startled her. She stepped back a few times, catching him with her arms hooked under his and dropping into a crouch so he ran into her shoulder. Willow hoped he didn't bust a lip or something, this was one of the few outfits that wasn't covered with dirt.
"Sorry!"
Then she recognized him. That kid she'd ran into on the Quidditch pitch ages ago, they'd met up and talked with another Gryffie with some sort of vision problem, the one that kept thinking he saw someone. Willow blinked, trying to recall a name. "Lucius! Hey!"

Well, if anything, Lucius wasn't expecting anyone to be right there when he emerged from the aisle, let alone stop him in such a way that he smacked his head off her shoulder. Staggering back a pace or two and rubbing his forehead, he smiled slightly at Willow. Sure, it took him a moment or two to put name to face, but he was confident he got it right.
"Hey Willow... What brings you here?"
Smooth going hume boy... Twice now you've run into someone in here.
Shut your damned hissing scum. I'll see you in hell yet!
...
The demon quited, Lucius kept his eyes on Willow.
"You are alright aren't you? You'd not be the first person I've run into in here..."
ooc- Sorry this took so long, i just noticed your post like, yesterday.
bic- He rubbed his forehead, making Willow realize she'd probably hit him harder than she'd thought. Being a lycan could be inconvenient. Sometimes one didn't notice things like that. She smiled, glad he had remembered her name.
"I'm fine," she replied easily. "I'm really sturdy." Even if she HAD bruised, it would have healed pretty quickly. Which might have been hard to explain if she had been wearing her tank top. But she wasn't, she was wearing school robes, for once. The lycan had purchased a set for a 'just in case' and kept them buried in her old school trunk.
"Yeah, I don't really come up to the school much anymore.." Hopefully he wouldn't remember she was still to young to have graduated. She would have had one more year after this one.

"That's good... I'd hate to have hurt you from being careless..."
With the pain subsiding to a ache, Lucius stopped rubbing his head. He had been fortunate enough to have had a hard head, so his headache didn't hurt too much.
"What, did you graduate or something? I don't think you ever said what year you were in when we met last time."
That was a good point, he had no idea what year Willow had been in... Nor could he tall she was a lycan... Which probably wouldn't have mattered to him if she was or wasn't anyway...
Willow gave him the once over again. She wasn't the best judge of character, but she got the feeling he probably wouldn't care if she told him....Na. Not right now, she thought. No sense in scaring him. Then again she had heard some rumors about him. He was pretty strange himself. What had happened to that kid? October.
"I, er...dropped out, technically," she replied, smiling weakly. What was she doing here? Willow tried not to blush. "I was looking around..Well, looking for someone, actually. Do you know Torrid Nightshadow? Tj?" she added, remembered the name she had heard people like Felix call him. She had never called him that, he was just Torrid to her.

"I see... Can happen to the best of us I guess."
Shrugging, Lucius thought for a moment... However, the name didn't ring a bell.
"I'm sorry, no... I don't know too many students here still..."
Looking almost appologetic, Lucius gave a nervous smile. He wasn't joking, he knew Willow, Morgan (He sighed longingly as soon as a mental image of her popped into his head), Malachy, that weired Gryffindor... October was it?, and several others... None of them were called "Torrid" or "T.J" either...
"There were circumstances," Willow said evasively, even though he hadn't asked. She felt like she owed him some kind of explanation, although they hadn't spoken in...months? When he said he didn't know Torrid, she wasn't surprised. Torrid hadn't been around long when he'd gone away, and only recently had he returned.
"That's fine, I didn't think he'd be up here anyway," she said airly, letting her finger trail over the leather bindings. She eyed the books. "So what were you doing, are you looking for something?"
She'd met Torrid in the library, the first time, and it had been to much to hope he would be here again...Maybe he would be outside. Torrid had been one of the most outdoorsie Ravenclaws she'd ever met, including Morgan, the Quidditch Captain. In fact, save that first time, that was the only time she'd ever seen him with a book...

"I see... Family or otherwise?"
He wasn't tryign to pry... Just trying to peice together something of a picture of why she left. When she asked what he had been doing, he shrugged.
"Eh, tryign to find a book... A specific potion's book. Worst subject, no knowledge on it and yet... I need it to brew wiggenwild potions and other stamina-restoring potions."
"I was never very good at potions, either," Willow admitted sheepishly, grinning at him. "But I can help you look."
She hadn't told anyone but Ashelle what had happened, and that had been WAY more than the girl had needed to know. Sometimes Willow felt a little pained at the thought, regretful at how much she had told the Gryffindor Prefect. They had met only a few times, and never for very long. And Willow had poured out her heart and soul to the girl.
"Umm...Family, I guess. And other stuff. My uncle pulled me out of school, but then he died, so I came back," she explained. It was a simple enough explanation. And truthful. There were no lies there, it was just the underlying circumstances that were the problem. "But then some stuff happened and I had to drop out. I still come up to the school though, to see people."
She was glad to Lucius, glad to talk to him. He was one of the people she knew who was totally enveloped in the drama that swelled over Firefox University. At least, she didn't know of any drama he was involved in. Willow always had a helpful, sympathetic curiiosity. Maybe that was why everyone always told her everything. And the fact that she asked.
"Wiggenwald..." She skimmed the books. "I think we're in the wrong aisle, honestly," she said cheerfully.

"Thanks..."
Nodding understandignly when she said "family" as the reason, he smiled again... He knew all about family issues... His father had been the reason he left.
"I'm normally in the transfiguration aisles and DADA aisles myself... Not normally potions..."
Willow stepped back into the aisle she'd come from and skimmed the books. Nope. Ignoring Lucius for the time being, she continued to walk around, looking for any book on potions. Finally, she found it. Using the shelves like the rungs on a ladder, she pushed some books out of the way and peered at Lucius.
"Over here," she said, grinning at him between a book on Dark Magic and a scarlet-bound book on red caps. "Wiggenwald, right?"
She was tired, but it didn't show as Willow bounced off the shelf and began pulling books of the shelf. The lycan was waiting for the librarian to show up and tell her off, but he never did.

"Correct..."
Putting another book down, Lucius went around the shelf to Willow.
"You wouldn't believe the amount of pain the potions would be saving me... I mean, exercise is all well and good, but it isn't helping me much..."
That was true, the teen ran a few laps of the school pretty much every day. It wasn't helping much, almost as if his demon was taking what would have been increased for itself... Not that he was about to tell Willow about his demon...
