{My muse hates me, sorry about the cruddiness of this post. Even after a break and food it just wouldn't work -.-
Continuation of: The Six Million Dollar Dragon}
The walk to the Hospital Wing had been both an urgent and thankless task that Roan would have never been able to complete without her lycan strength. Stairs were the worst, and she was glad when each staircase was over with so that she wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore. The Hufflepuff was quiet all the way to the Wing, there was no point in talking because her charge was passed out after the spell. She just silently hoped and prayed that Sylph wasn’t damaged by backfire of the spell, because then she would feel guilty for putting her up to it and hurting her. Plus the way she had come back from her own damage was not an option for the Deputy Headmistress, and that frightened Roan greatly.
Finally the doors were in sight and the girl somehow managed to get them open and support Sylph all the way up to the first bed that was open. Getting the woman onto it was easier then the entire trip was, and Roan could finally breathe easier once the violet haired woman wasn’t burdening her anymore. Making sure Sylph’s head was on the pillow and the rest of her body in a comfortable position, Roan debated staying or leaving. She didn’t want to see Carrie, not yet. The nurse was the one who treated her when she came in after the Hunt, and Roan ran out before talking to her. She didn’t know if the nurse knew she was a lycan yet.
Nevertheless, Roan decided to stay and make sure that Sylph was alright. So the brunette took a deep breath and stood by the bed to wait for the nurse to come and help her. There was no point in calling for one, they usually came through anyways to look at other patients and Sylph was too hard to miss.
