{Hello Firefox, please welcome your new nurse}
Clack. Clack. Clack.
What an annoying sound was being made by the one walking to the Hospital Wing. Most who walked upon hard flooring had enough decency not to wear heeled shoes as not to make a complete and total racket, but apparently not her. Her being Nurse Joy. Just Joy. The ones who found out her last name either wouldn't tell a soul about it or had their tongue mysteriously removed in the middle of the night. The morning was new when this woman was walking through the hall, and few were out and about. That was perfectly fine for Joy as she really did not want to have to interact with any children yet. How she hated children, with their neverending question and high pompous 'King/Queen' of the world natures. How they always cried when you tried to treat them or complained on how something hurt. How they always thought they knew more then you, even though you were the nurse.
Too bad she got assigned to a school though.
Joy thought that it was a cruel joke of fate that she had to go and work at Firefox now, but her superior get tired of those in the mental asylum she worked at mysteriously losing fingers or something of the manner. So they sent her to work with children.
Her black stilletos were what was clacking against the floor as she made her way to the Wing, her assistant walking carefully behind her carrying a leather case which appeared to be a suitcase of sorts. Her bubblegum pink robes were out of place against the noble and austere colors of the University, making her even more vibrant as she walked. Contrasting against that were clean black gloves that covered her hands and went into the sleeves of her robe. Dark brown locks, almost black, were pinned up in a neat bun with not a single lock out of place, and her hands hung neatly at her side as she walked. Sunglasses covered what would be bright green eyes that would have been perfect for anyone but Nurse Joy.
The nurse sighed a bored sigh when she reached the doors of the wing, pushing one open and striding in with her assistant close behind. Several students sat up in their beds to see who this strange newcomer was, some laughing and snickering under their breath. They just got a sharp glare shot in their direction, and even though you could not see Joy's eyes behind the sunglasses, they shut up quickly. A graceful hand removed the sunglasses, revealing her eyes as she looked around the Wing.
It was...adequate.
Barely.
She was not used to working in a setting such as this. Her eyes roamed for a moment before she found a younger student, probably a first year. Fresh meat. Carefully she strode over to him, her movements careful and neat. "You there. Who is the nurse on attendance right now." There was a strictness to her voice that demanded an answer and demanded it right away. The boy just stuttered and looked at her, obviously baffled. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him for a moment, assesing what was wrong with the child. He had a bandage on his leg, which was perfect for her. "...I...I...I don't know."
Joy gave the boy an eerie smile taking off one of her gloves and neatly placing it into her pocket. She gave a snap and her assistant, who had been behind her most of the time, was finally revealed. It was an odd creature, about her height and pink, a much lighter pink then Joy's robes. It was called Chansey...for that was all the creature seemed to be able to say. The Nurse had gotten Chansey as an assistant because it was not too talkative and seemed to listen to whatever she told it to do...and sometimes it was better not to have a human assistant for some of those thimgs. It walked over carefully and opened the bag in front of it, rummaging inside.
"You may want to remember who is the on duty nurse, for I would like to have a word with her. I am a new nurse here at Firefox, and it is good to know my fellow helpers in aiding others. Speaking of aiding others, your leg looks pretty. Maybe bad enough to have to..." Each word was spoken like syrup, thick and unearthly sweet. As she spoke the last words, Joy looked over at Chansey who found what it was looking for. The sweet creature pulled a saw out of the apparently magical bag that was about as big as it was. It raised it up the saw with glea on it's face above the boy's leg with a loud and cheerful 'Chansey!' which made the boy shake with fear.
"So...now do you remember?"
