Quest? Rose mused to herself, I guess it could be called that. She looked up at the ruby phoenix statue and a sort of uneasy feeling began to settle in her, "It'd probably be best if I go alone. If possible I'll meet up with you later," she answered Morgan with a silky calmness that betrayed her true feelings of unease. She smiled softly as a way of saying thanks to Morgan then walked forward so that she was standing right in front of the phoenix statue. For a moment Rose stood there puzzled on how to make it move, then just as she was about to turn around to ask Morgan what to do the statue moved aside to allow her passage. Eclipse jumped up onto Rose's shoulder as she proceeded inside.
There was an air of high elegance in each step Rose took. Having grown up in a very prestigious family it was only to be expected of her to express an attitude of nobility when conversing with those she did not have an informal relation with. Yet it was because of her family and the mission she'd set upon herself that caused her feelings of nervousness when approaching the Headmaster. Because of the recent stupidity of her Grandfather, now currently under a life long sentence in Azkaban, and her father, who'd caused them to move into hiding, the once high ranked family of Dwyre had fallen and lost its esteemed position. Rose was sure that Talon would know of her family's betrayal, and she feared that because of it he might not except her as a student.
Rose stopped after taking a few steps inside. The room was much lighter then the dimly lit hall had been, and it took her eyes a moment to adjust. An adjustment that for most would have been immediate and almost unrecognizable. However, considering the paleness of Rose's skin it was obvious that she was not as accustomed to being in the light as others, which caused her more of a sensitivity toward it. The moment past quickly, being only a second, and she dropped her hand back down to her side. Regaining her normal poise she walked up to the Headmaster's desk. "Headmaster Talon Windwaltz," she inquired, her tone soft and sweet.

Though the girl inquired to the seat before the desk in search of the Headmaster, when the seat turned around it revealed no such person. Sitting in the chair, with a whole stack of papers in his hand, was a well established looking Dwarf. His beard was neatly trimmed and his hair was combed to the side. In an almost mocking way of the Headmaster, he wore a purple robe that was fitted just to his body size, and wore a miniature medallion interlocked with two scimitars. When the Dwarf saw the girl, he looked into her eyes for a moment and then spoke in a very harsh, earthen tone.
It was a language foreign to humankind, but it was not foreign to the Earth. If anything, the language could've even been heard as the language of the Earth itself. The language one hears singing as a woman waters her garden, the language one hears cursing as a man chops down a tree. Either way, it was one that only a few humans could ever grasp. The Dwarf was just about to speak again, when suddenly the Ruby Phoenix swung open again.
Talon Windwaltz stepped through the doors, but he did not look as he usually did. Instead of dressed in his usual attire - the one that the Dwarf was currently wearing - the Headmaster was dressed in very casual wear. When the Headmaster was in earshot, he spoke the same harsh Earthen tone, but in a much more refined and accent-less sound. His voice seemed to reflect, in some way, relief. Then, to his surprise, he noticed Rose was standing by his seat. "Oh, hello." There in his shock, Talon looked remarkably his age. Instead of the usual regal attire which gave him, though still only nineteen years old, the look of a youthful magistrate, today he was wearing a long black t-shirt with 'Firefox University' on it in green letters and casual khaki pants. His hair still stood up sparked with electricity, and his relatively lanky muscles would often pulse with shocks from time to time as well.
Still, for once, he looked almost natural.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not working today. Karl over there is standing in for me." Karl bowed his bearded head. "If your question is about any technical difficulties in the school, or dangers involving demons burning down entire cities, please write it down on a piece of paper and I shall get to it in the morning. If your question is with me, personally, then come with me. I'm just going to take a walk around the school. I'll be glad to answer any of your questions."
