((OOC: Now I have about four threads that I’m in that are practically all-parallel universes, so I was hoping to wrap it all up right here and now, if something seems out of place, please let me know so I can fix it. I might have to bend reality a little. So sorry I hadn’t concluded this before but I had been dreading the connecting process. This takes place directly after the incident in Drakborough and before Morgan’s suicide attempt. Other threads shouldn’t be intertwined… but still, bare with me.))

As soon as Felix hit the marble floor of the back entrance to the University from the hedge garden, Felix didn’t stop to even rest for a single breath. For some reason he was going to find where Lucre was and not stop until he found out where. Firstly activating every single radio transmitter bug he had created that were scattered around Firefox, Felix tried to extract every single word he could remember Lucre saying to be able to get them to recognized his voice. Almost immediately, Felix caught some small giggle of girls talking about him and mentioning his name, would Felix ever be able to catch this sly cat?
He guessed Lucre was leisurely just waltzing around without a care in the world and Felix really didn’t care, what better way to catch someone? He would have to wait until Lucre left the building, so that Aurors could help; yet how would he know? Putting every single type of alarm at every door, Felix cast so many spells, he was sure only one in ten might even possibly work. Most assuredly, the Dungeon and the Arch as well as all other exits.
Anyone fugitive in their right mind would go back to the castle, right? I mean, what kind of person would have a bag packed just in case they were convicted of a crime and a very nosy kid with high tech security was watching your school? Lucre, of course. Felix was determined not to let the thoughts discourage him, and every drop of adrenaline made the thirteen year old like an alacrity wind of extreme power. Maybe all that practice running did help after all?
Within half and hour, Felix would have been able to pinpoint the exact movements of Lucre, in theory. In theory, Felix could fly with the pigs and live forever just like Pierre de Fermat. Thinking desperately of what else he might be able to use, Felix was doing so many things absent-mindedly that he was confused at his own work. Maybe programming yourself like a computer was a possible theory too. But, theories can’t catch Thomas Lucre.
Finally, about forty-seven minutes after the chaos in the village, Felix accio’d the record right outside the Slytherin common room to find that he had just passed minutes before. At top speed, Felix kept finding every single sign of Lucre just leisurely walking around. By the time that Felix got to the Arch, the nearest entrance, Lucre and a certain girl he must have been flirting with had already disappeared down the rout to Drakborough, grabbing the conversation recorded and read the words with the utmost unconsciousness, seeing how he was running up the stairs against all the people coming down.
The last scribbled words before the ink ran out was:
“…And by the way, I think sky blue suits you much more nicely beneath those things….”
Sighing at how the name of the girl never showed up, Felix turned his eyes back to the hall right before he almost would have slipped on a small puddle of water from a clumsily drink holder.
Felix then though with the utmost care. He was just about to go and send an Owl to Forbes but Felix realized that with such extreme urgency in this matter, sending something would take the whole afternoon and Felix needed to get this to Forbes Now! He needed the Headmaster to send it. The headmaster has most likely a very fast way of contacting Forbes and, now that he thought about it, Talon would probably want to know.
Why was Felix doing this? Why was he helping the enemy? Forbes was always an enemy before to Felix, why now try and rectify the dispute because of some evil student trying to get away with a crime… that Felix didn’t even think that he committed. He was going to let the very man that Morgan and Felix were against to go and arrest a man who was an innocent student who tried to run from a false accusation and from the Chief Auror. Felix did despise Lucre, but why let emotions control the outcome of a students life. Lucre would do the same to Felix, but still.
Turning his course of walking, more running to near sprinting, to the Headmaster Office. As he ran, Felix reworked and worked what he was about to say in his mind, he would need Talon to be alert and act immediately, Felix knew that Talon was around more at this time of the week and even this day, but with Windwaltz, one could never tell.
Stopping short in front of the Phoenix Statue, Felix grinned and asked how the ‘pretty bird’ was doing in ancient Greek with Latin ever third word. The Statue either understood the ancient languages or any gibberish got it to move to show the door. Still pausing to thank the Statue, in Gaelic, Felix grabbed the knocker and slammed it hard against the wood three times.
“Professor Windwaltz!”
((OOC: Sorry for any confusion or miscommunications… I tried to make it as fitting as possible…))
