Felix watched it. He was tired. Half a sleep almost. He had ‘3rd watch’ that night on prefect duty, which was another way of saying that ‘you won’t sleep and wink tonight’. Why did they even have prefect duty anyway? Half the students when out after curfew at least once in their lives, Felix use to do it all the time. Thankfully he was made a Prefect so he could legally do it before he was ever caught.
One o’clock. Felix blinked the sleepiness out of his eyes and walked out to the arch. He highly doubted anything interesting would happen this late tonight. He didn’t have to wonder that far away from the castle so he didn’t hope to meet any more vampires tonight. For once he even didn’t want to.
Then he smelt smoke… and footsteps.
Rolling his eyes, Felix hid back in the shadows of the Arch’s. Someone had set something on fire and was fleeing the scene. Felix didn’t need to be psychic to figure that out.

Phugsius ran to escape the fire and the shrieking of the burning mandrakes, and the two creatures he'd left behind. He was more than upset at the fact that woman directed him to Talon Windwaltz. Of COURSE he would be able to help, but would he approve of his reasons? Revenge doesn't sound like something that would prompt any headmaster to teach a student. Plus he had just burned down the Green House.
Phugs stumbled into the castle and slowed to a walk. He was out of breath and couldn't run any farther. The Slytherin assumed he was safe but needed to get back to the common room without being seen. He looked around and noticed someone in the shadows. It was too late for that.

See, you have to understand two important things about Felix: Knowledge is power, and Reading Minds. The first was quite simple, Felix had almost a medical condition that he had to know everything, most of the times he did. For example, Felix read the new students roaster every time it came in, so he knew every student that came. Sure, it took a little guesswork, but he was generally correct.
The second part of what you need to know is a little more complicated. Felix could read minds. Not in the sense that he knows what you’re thinking, but he sees mere pictures in people heads of events with emotional connections. Fear, love, hate, et cetera. Scientifically, memories with strong connections were written into your brain, thus patterning your brain waves, Felix had a gift of being able to read brainwaves like one reads a book.
So when Phugsius rounded the corner, Felix saw flashes of the unknown shade one talking to Tiberius, through the eyes of the Slytherin. Flashes of Roan and Tiberius talking. Felix knew they whatever they were saying must have had some emotional impact on Phugsius, because the imagines were clearer then a black dot on a white piece of paper. Lastly, a… kitten? And then Phugsius setting the greenhouse on fire.
Unfortunately, brainwaves don’t have audio.
“Phugsius. My name is Felix Genero, the Gryffindor Prefect. You are not only out past curfew, a punishment worthy offence, but you also are charged with arsonous activities and destroying school property. You have either two options: one, tell me what you heard in fine detail about what the Fire Elementalist said as well as the Tall One, and I mean everything.” [Tiberius is over 7 feet btw] “Or option number two: you choose to not tell me anything and you spend the rest of the night chained up in a dark broom closet, and early in the morning I’ll take you to the Headmaster, without breakfast, to report you. If you choose to be wise and talk, I will continue my rounds and let you go as if this never happened and I will never tell anyone a thing. Now if you see it from my prospective, the choice is quite simple. What will it be Master Phugsius?”

Breathing heavily from his sprint up the hill, Phugsius eyed this person. He had no idea who he was or how he knew about what had happened. He must have been watching the entire time.... but how could he make out the figures? The large man? The Elementalist? Based on his clothes and attitude, this boy looked to him like a gryffindor prefect.
He was bent over, hands on his knees. The Slytherin managed to spill out in his British accent.
If this guy was going to keep quiet about this incident he needed to tell him somewhere away from the scene of the crime because this area was about to be a high traffic area with anyone who may have been alerted. He needed to tell him somewhere secluded, out of the way, close to where he SHOULD be not where he was. If this boy was a prefect no lies Phugsius could tell anyone would over ride this guys story. He also knew he couldn't take this guy in a fight so he had to come clean.
At least the walk to the dungeons would clear his thoughts and let him catch his breath.
"I'll tell you..." *Breathe* "In the...." *Breathe* "Dungeons" *Breathe* "Everything...."
His heavy breathing continued as he stared into the eyes of this boy waiting for his reply.
bic- Eyes flickering like white-silver, Willow slunk up onto the grounds. The smell of ash and flames and burnt plants had drawn her attention, and she thought she had recognized some of the figures among the flames. One of the scents she certainly had. Frowning, the wolf kept the shadows, following a figure across the grounds and up to the arch, where someone else was already there.
Felix. Of course he was.
A grin flickering across her wolf muzzle, Willow shifted in the brown-haired girl who looked to be in her sixth year, if she was a student. But everything about her was something else, something wild. And she intended to keep it that way. Watching Felix fuss at this...whoever he was, she watched with mild amusement.
The Dungeons. Willow hadn't been that far inside the school in a long time...Frowning, she stepped up into clear sight of Felix, at least, and waited silently. Maybe he'd ignore her. Probably not. He looked so funny trying to be stern. It just wasn't like Felix at all. With a light yawn, she took a few more steps until she was just a foot or so behind the boy. What had Felix called him? Phugsius. It was perhaps one of the more odd names she'd heard. Entertaining.
Waiting patiently, she waited to see what Felix would do next. Would he send her away? She doubted that. Even if he did, he had no authority over her. She'd just shape-shift and follow him. Simple as that.

Felix was trying soooo hard to keep a straight face. He almost wanted to bet against himself keeping the stern serious attitude the entire night. The sugar deprivation and lack of sleep helped, but still. Felix sincerely hoped that Phugsius would just tell Felix what he heard and Felix would be able to finish his rounds and just go to sleep. Of course, in the magical world he lived in, what you hoped was the farthest thing from reality.
The Slytherin started wheezing after running up the hill, and Felix waited patiently, rolling his eyes. He had a British accent to top it off, and it took a moment to decipher what the guy had said. Felix saw the kids brain working trying to find a way out of it. Felix was a Prefect, his word was better then the students. Thanks to Willows wand, Felix was great at dueling. Felix always got the information he wanted. Muhahaahah—oh, right.
Willow.
She always thought that he was the one that was always everywhere, but the ex-Gryffindor showed up a lot too. It was actually quite humorous, out of all the students the two of them always ended up being stuck in the middle of the chaos. It was Gryffindors’ second nature.
Felix would love to have invited her over, but he couldn’t jeopardize what he got the boy to agree to say. This information was worth more then gold. Acting like he didn’t even see Willow, Felix held his wand down by his side and, cleverly enough, summoned without words water to appear on the ground in front of Willow. The water reflected off the moonlight to show the vapor in odd shapes… hands. Felix wrote a message in the stone with water in sign language, he remember randomly Willow knew it. He was almost proud of himself.
It read: “N-O-S-H-O-W-S-E-L-F-F-O-L-L-O-W-S-I-L-E-N-T-L-Y-T-H-X[/b]”
His only hope was that willow could understand it.
As if nothing happened, Felix nodded to Phugsius.
“If you wish. Lead the way.”
