[ooc: open to all. This post doesn't really go -anywhere- within the school in particular, hence the reason I shoved it here ^^; ]
You know when there's something wrong with people? I mean, when somethings just odd and you don't know whether or not to feel bad because they might actually have a problem or whether you should laugh because it's just someone being idiotic for show. Like when someone constantly follows you around so much so that you become aware of a heavy breathing over your shoulder whilst you're walking off to be yourself. That when you turn around and ask them nicely to leave you alone they nod and move a few metres away whilst staring directly towards you until you start moving again.
Shadow felt like that. This was different only in the means that he felt not that he was running from this being that followed him but trying to keep them following. The amount of times he'd glanced nervously over his shoulder and given a small whimper throughout his passage from the common room to the entrance hall was nothing compared to that he'd spent over the last few days.
Willow was a lycan. Erin was a lycan. Lucre had disappeared. Malachy too. Morgan barely looked at him. He wanted to cry out, scream, thrash against the boundaries of the stone walls. He wanted to curl up in each small corner he had passed and hug his knees to his chest whilst his head spun with meaningless nothingness. Even now as he walked carefully with a hand against the wall, he could hear his own voice, distant and singing nonsense to sooth his trembling form.
Was he, maybe, alone? Insane perhaps. He could feel his headache pounding rhythmically against his skull. He'd be leaving school soon, in weeks, in days. Where would he go then? To stay with the traitor, where he'd be forever haunted by the ghost of his dead child? To his uncles, the wolf-boy, and lay awake at night scared of the creature in the next room? There was no where he could go now. Nowhere.
Though, he was an animagus... maybe he could take to the trees and sleep amongst them. Steal food, clothing. Maybe if he stayed in his form for too long he would be stuck. He'd be an animal, and live as that animal. He'd die as that animal without anyone knowing what happened to him or who he had become.
With a hasty spin, Shadonious threw his arms up into the air with a frustrated growl. "They're coming, Windwaltz! The wolves, the dead... I hope you're happy," he growled, almost yelling though he had no valid reason for blaming the headmaster. "I hope you're freaking ecstatic," he whispered, crumpling to the floor with a single tiny sob of anger.
