Generally, when Emery thought about bringing people back to her dorm, it was under very different circumstances (and usually involved girls, not pug-faced dudes). This particular situation was out of necessity's sake, rather than anything else, and so like any of her fellow lion-house companions, Emery grinned, shrugged, and bore it.
"Yo," the redhead said to the painting, a hand perched saucily on her hip. "Open up, we got a newbie." The armored man in the painting gave her a look, and she sighed. "Fine, fine. Odell, or whatever."
Keenly, she gave a look back to Tyrone. "That's our password. Try not to forget it, 'cause this asshole won't ever remind you."
Ignoring the indignant way the nobleman huffed at her as she stepped through the now-open doorway, Emery gestured grandly at the cozy, well-lit common room.
"I present to you... Gryffindor House, in all its glory!"
Rather anticlimactically, an extremely large iguana came wandering out from around a fat, overstuffed couch, and laid down on one of Emery's feet.
Frowning, she attempted to shake the immensely heavy beast off. "This is Louis, my familiar, or whatever. Uh, if you've got pets, be careful not to let them get loose, 'cause Lois eats anything." Said reptile lifted his spiked head to look impassively up at Tyrone.
"I think the boys dorms are all over there-" she pointed vaguely in one direction, hardly helpful, "-and the girls are all there, uh, sorted by year, of course." The talkative girl eyed her very male companion, realizing she didn't even know if they were the same age or what.
"How old are you? I mean, what year, or whatever?"
