Silvain sighed as he walked down the halls of the school. He just didn't get Felix. But he really didn't care to, because he was bordering on hatred of the kid. Flashy, showy, proud Gryffindor with all his weird, useless-anywhere-else-but-school-yet-still-impressive magic tricks...It frustrated the Ravenclaw, who didn't seem to be learning anything in his classes (b/c dere has been no classes >.> <.<) to help him.
Silvain considered going back to his Common Room and just spending the night there, maybe finally going through his textbooks to maybe learn something, but they were clearly written for kids who knew about magic, and he struggled with putting science to everything, his biggest drawback.
Maybe I'll go outside...People usually practiced outside, and by seeing it and hearing the spells, he might pick up something he could practice. He'd already learned that his body had a limit thanks to Malachy's Patronus lesson, but maybe he could find some younger kids practicing low-level spells he could pick up.
Or I could try to practice the Patronus itself...He had definitely gotten somewhere with that one. He'd seen something...
He didn't know what it could possibly have been--none of the animals he could think of had a face or head shaped like the tip of whatever his Patronus had been--but that only piqued his Ravenclaw curiosity and desire to discover.
Surprisingly few people were out. Silvain wondered what time it was...It wasn't close to dusk. Maybe it was lunchtime. Silvain had no way to tell time ever since he'd found out his Muggle watch had stopped working months ago, save for asking others, who almost always seemed to know.
He stuck his hands in his robe pockets, fingering his wand as he drifted around the grounds, eventually meandering over to the Dueling Field, where he hoped to find people perhaps using offensive and defensive spells he might learn...
