To the dark-haired twin of Ravenclaw,
Please forgive me for disappearing like that in the middle of that mess. Not even I predicted something like that could have happened, but then, I guess this day has just been full of surprises. I trust you weren't left to face any harsh consequences from Minister Forbes? If you've been punished in any way, I'll be sure to make amends personally for my many miscalculations.
The lady that abducted me apparated us to Fenrir's Wood. I was pretty mortified at first, but she seems to be connected to the Great Wolf somehow. From the way she acts, she even seems to have a collar on that beast. On top of that, she also knows an old friend of mine. The friend whom this entire mess revolves around.
Samuel Eelem Nanten.
I can't tell you much more than this with just this note. I've charmed this note to feed portions of itself to all the familiars on this campus the moment you lay this note down. Come and meet me on the outskirts of Fenrir's forest if you want the full story on this.
~Thomas Lucre
The chilled night breeze from the lake blew into the boy's somewhat parted collar, his form limp as he rested his head and shoulders up against a tree. And with thousands upon thousands of other trees all around his periphrael vision. This was the outskirts of the fabled and macabre woods of Fenris Fenrir. As irony would have it, the XXLT sized beast wasn't even the main threat to be concerned with, as these woods were his in name only. There were supposedly many creatures that swarmed this maze of green, creatures from unknown corners of the world and ripped from nameless diminsions. Creatures both fabled and unknown. That's not to say Fenrir was small fry next to them, his reputation merely preceeded him enough to call the right of claiming these woods as his own.
Despite all that, this seemed to be the safest place for the blonde young man to hide at the moment. Obsidian eyes stared off into the sky as he implemented a similar note trick to the one he used on Teagan to send this note to the Ravenclaw commons, this time for the dark young beauty named Onyx. He had to levitate it in that direction himself, since he couldn't chance the risk of the campus being on a lookout for delivery owls. Thankfully, Lucre remembered seeing the girl in passing while he was in his cat form, so he remembered which window was to her dorm room.
Lucre was braced against the tree like he was, listless and limp as a doll. Sure, keeping still would give her a better chance to find him, but the fact was he barely had the strength to stand. He wasn't sure what he was going to do from this point, but if he didn't want to find himself in Azkaban confines, then he needed to think of a plan.
Lucre needed to find Sam, and fast.
