That last time she had walked into these woods Roan had been a complete nervous wreck. She had looked more like some first year walking into Firefox University for the first time and not knowing what to do or where to go. This time though was different, the brunette was much more sure of herself and much more confident. It was forced in a way, she was still nervous and waiting for some solid ground to stand on when it came to being a lycan. That would come though in time and training, which is exactly what she was going to now. The previous day she had talked to her friends in the Greenhouse, and gotten them on the same page as her. They knew she was a lycan and they knew that Fenrir was her grandsire and that she had allowed him to become her mentor. Talon knew about her being a lycan and had allowed her to remain in the school as a student. The only people who would be concerned about her being a lycan that she hadn’t told was the ICW that had decreed that all werewolves and vampires needed to be registered. And Roan intended that they never know her secret.
It was the morning after the Greenhouse when Roan headed back into the Woods, the sun had been up for about an hour but most were still abed. Summer Holidays were wonderful things, she didn’t have to worry about being seen as she headed back into Fenrir’s Wood because there were fewer students and most of them slept past seven in the morning. So she didn’t need Song to hide her as she entered, Roan left both of the dragons in her dorm room for their own safety. With the new decrees she didn’t want them being caught and taken away from her, and then there would be a lot of questions on how such dragons came into existence. The Hufflepuff feared that more then being caught as a lycan.
Roan walked the same path that she had before to go and find Fenrir, this time though she wasn’t as alert as she had been before. He would know she was here and probably find her, but she wasn’t worried about some sneak attack or threat from him at the moment. One hand absent mindedly tucked a stray lock of brown hair behind her ear that had broken free from her pulled up hair as she stood where she had been before and waited with held breath. Fiery hazel eyes were alert, and she stood with her hands down at her side, idly toying with the hem of her shirt.
He had told her to tell her friends and reveal herself as a lycan and then to return and they would start training. Roan had done just that, she was going to listen to him and follow his word just as he had said. It had been the hardest thing she had ever done, but she had done it and could return back to the Woods without guilt or worry. Or at least she thought, because there was one nagging part of her brain that was still worried about Fenrir using her or still being an enemy trying to lure her into a trap. She was not one to be angered, she was a lycan now but she had her fire elementalism strong in her veins and the woods were awfully dry in the summer, but the fear that he may try and harm her still kept her alert and slightly skeptical.
There was no need to call out or seek him out as the Woods were not familiar territory for her. All Roan did was wait for the Langfodr to show himself.
