So this what how it was going to be. He'd come to Spain seeking help, only to have those he numbered among his friends turn him away? That was what Unknown was planting in his thoughts, and while Forgoil wanted to deny it the scene at the Hospital Wing gave weight to the fiend's arguments. The wiry Scot had stormed out of the Castle and retreated as far away from the school as possible until he reached the shores of the Lake. What he wanted was peace, for all of this to finally end, but the voice never quit force it sensed it had the advantage. 'Did I not tell you this would happen? They don't care about you any more Halifirien: you mean nothing to them now. Talon, Rezna, Roan: no one will stand up for you now. Give in to me, and I can set all of this straight.'
"No!" roared Forgoil like a man possessed as he lashed out at nothingness, "I'll not turn into a monster! Rezna may have turned against me, but Roan never spoke up nor did Talon. They must still care for me." 'You're wrong Professor. Roan didn't speak up because she didn't want you to know her true colors: she doesn't care about you, only her lover and Rezna. And Talon...what do you think he'll do when he wakes up? He'll see only Rezna, the light of his life, and he'll stay with her while you rot and decay into madness. And when I am the master, only then will Talon search for you and he will kill you Halifirien: he won't even blink,' replied the oily voice.
Forgoil's body started quivering as he lost control, his pupils expanding and contracting as he tried to understand whether or not the shade was right. Muryliss was in the Hospital too, wasn't he? That meant Roan was there for him...she could care less about her friend while her lover was on his deathbed. But Talon...he wouldn't forget about him: he'd promised. But Rezna kissed him, she loved him, and when he woke up she'd be the one he'd see. He'd sooner misplace Forgoil's problems then...
'No,' thought Forgoil furiously as he sank to his knees, gripping his head in both hands. 'Talon would never do that. He's my friend, the only one who still might be loyal to me: he wouldn't possibly'
'He would and already has forgotten about you Halifirien. Just as your real identity is lost to you forever, your memory will be erased from Talon's concerns when he gazes into Love's eyes.'
His breathes became labored and Forgoil's hands violently grasped the grass as he shook with anger. "Rezna," spat Forgoil with disgust, "This is all her doing! She'd turn my friend against me because she wants him all for herself and he in turn. Their love may seem real, but it's a fantasy for none can truly keep the other; I must end it or there will be no fantasy left for me to live." His wand flashed to his hand and he shakily stood, facing the depths of the Lake with a face that looked to pierce any man's soul.
"Hear me, you whirling winds!" roared the Grey-haired man into the sky,"On thee I lay this curse on Talon Windwaltz and Rezna Lardale: for as they have forgotten my plight and cast me off like tattered rags, let Love be forgotten between them! That they share no tender moment or lustful kiss, and that while their bodies yearn to be so entwined that they be separated by force. Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! Rage! Blow my curse upon them as I seal my pact with thee!" In his throes of anger, it was simple for the presence to manipulate the master and Forgoil's wand pointed at the center of Lake as he shouted, "Fiendfyre!" DERP!
