Morgan had spent weeks pouring over old notes and tomes of ancient runes. Some of them had one belonged to her own ancestors, and one in particular had been penned by Merlin himself. At last she had deciphered all the runes, triumphant that not only had she solved a difficult puzzle, but also that she could now free Lucius from the tyranny of his demonic host.
She had chosen the Crypt for the first ritual. It had several advantages over other areas on the schoolgrounds. First off, it was remote, and seldom visited. There would be little chance of some poor, lost student walking in on them. Secondly, it was sanctified ground, which would help with what she was trying to do. Third of all, and perhaps most importantly, the graveyard was magically powerful ground. It would enhance her own powers.
She made her preparations carefully. Mondlied and Dora helped their mistress as she made the spell ready. It was an old spell, and complex. Almost a ritual. She burned the proper herbs and leaves in the brazier, as she drew the magic circle with a switch of yew. She channeled her thoughts, expelling any that would not help her obtain her goal. Once she was sufficiently prepared, she sent Mondleid with a note to Lucius.

As it happened, the teen in question was outside, practising with said dagger... Or to be more exact, his wand and dagger combination... Currently, he was practising with it's sword form. The silver blade flashed several times in the light as it swung in beautifully glittering arcs. Extending the blade's length to that of a two-handed blade, Lucius swung it in a curving arc before shrinking it back to the size of a normal straight sword and spun it overhead. Focusing entirely on the blade, he made it split into segments held in place by the magical energies of his want poking out through the pommel.
"Phew... That was definitely a good work out. Probably do more later."
Sitting down and pulling out a flask filled with ice-cold water, the flame-haired teen flicked his wand out of the pommel into his lap. Sheathing the dagger in it's scabbard on his belt after it returned to normal, he pocketed his wand... Or tried to... It wouldn't stay in his pocket, so he left it on his lap. Drinking several mouthfuls of water, he was suddenly aware of the feeling that he was being watched... Setting the flask down, he gripped his wand in his left hand and stood up.
"Okay... I know you're watching me... Show yourself..."
Normally, Lucius would be wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans, or maybe a short-sleeved t-shirt, but always with jeans... However today, he was wearing knee-length cabin shorts, due to the ease in which they allowed him to move compared to his jeans.
Where is my watcher?
Try the air thirty metres away and behind you hume-boy... It's a birdy... One I've noticed with your charming lady...
Cut the sarcasm hellspawn.
I know she has your book, so I'd make sure I'd watch my mouth if I were you hume-boy... You wouldn't want me to "accidentally" destroy the room she's in when you walk in there do you?
...
As much as he hated to admit it, Lucius knew the demon had a point... It knew everything he did... Turning to see Mondlied, he waved up at the eagletross familier... He noticed that the bird was carrying something, but couldn't make it out clearly.

Mondlied landed on Lucius's shoulder, careful not to harm the boy with his talons. Morgan's feelings for him affected the Eagletross's own attitude towards the boy. He proffered the note he held in his beak.
Elsewhere, Morgan's preperations were almost complete. There was only one more thing to do, and it would have to wait until Lucius was present.

"Thanks."
Accepting the note, Lucius read it in seconds. He had to read it through a few times to make sure he was reading it right though, since it was quite vague...
"Morgan must have a reason for being vague like that... And that must mean it's important..."
Tucking his wand into his belt, the teen looked towards the school building twenty metres off.
"No time like the present to get moving... And it's the present, so it's time to get moving."
Real smart hume-boy...
Quiet you.
Beginning to walk, Lucius lost himself in his thoughts as to what Morgan's note meant, he was soon finding himself in the crypt.

When Lucius entered, Mondleid on his shoulder, Morgan was sitting cross-legged in the center of her circle. A wide smear of ash from the brazier was streaked across her forehead, and two runes were painted in her cheeks. One in dirt meaning 'to seek', and the other in ash meaning 'to know'. She was seeking knowledge, after all. Very important knowledge.
As Lucius drew near, Morgan began the last portion of the spell, she began to chant, low at first, but then growing louder. The words running together until all meaning was almost lost. Luckily, one of the rune books she'd looked through had been a pronunciation guide. She spoke in an ancient, evil-sounding language. The words hissing, flowing, and occasionally guttural.
Morgan could practically feel the weight of millennia on her. Dora sat behind the girl, picking up the threads of the spell Morgan couldn't handle. Mondleid too, although his position was even more important. His proximity to Lucius, and hence the demon, would be the driving force for this bit of the spell. At last, when the chanting had reached a crescendo, Morgan pushed.
The energy flowed three ways between her, Mondleid, and Dora. Morgan groped for Lucius's mind, and found it. The name. She saw it clearly in her mind. She sent the name to him. He had to be the first to speak it, or her efforts were useless. An urge to shout the name came over her, and she bit down on her tongue to supress it. Suddenly her mouth tasted of blood. 'say it. say the name. she willed.

"What are you doi..."
Lucius didn't get to finish... The tendrils of magic invading his mind pulled the demon's name out... A voice he had never been able to hear, due to the demon masking it... It's true name, the source of it's power...
No! I won't let you!
Silence fiend! It's all over for you!
Words flowed freely from his mouth, the only part of the ritual he had been able to translate alone before he gave the book to his love.
"By the power of the darkest Gods of fire, earth, wind, water, thunder, lightning, light and dark, the powers of chaos... I command you! Bind thineself unto the will of theine master... Samael of Abaddon, fire aspect of Tiamat!"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO![/b]
The force of a muggle exposion in the form of a direcitonal magical blast wave, caused by the completion of the spell giving him the demon's name and thus making it bend to his will, blew Lucius backwards into the wall. The force of the teen's impact leaving a large crater, despite wings of fire sprouting out to cushion the blow before dissappearing.
"Ooof! That hurt..."
Standing up, he could feel the demon's power locked away from the beast... Leavign it his to command fully now it was under his power. Closing his eyes, he could see the demon in his mind-scape... Whereas it had dwarfed him and had been unbound until today, it was no longer free to do as it pleased... Chains bound the monsterous form to the "floor", its true might robbed away from it.
"If that wasn't the biggest surprise I ever had, I'll be damned for eternity."

Morgan remained kneeling as Lucius flew backward. She was worried about him, but she had a final thing to do. She took up her chanting again, bringing an ornate gold cross out of her bag. She heard Lucius remark, jokingly, about being damned for eternity. It strengthened her resolve. She reached a finger into her mouth, and emerged with a drop of her own blood. She smeared the blood on the cross.
She pulled, drawing on her connection to Lucius. The connection she'd never severed. Dora and Mondleid helped her. "O Lord! Please help this soul be rid of this affliction which doth plauge him. Take away the evil spirit which inhabits his body." She raised the cross above her head. "If you do see so fit, O Lord, place the evil spirit in this artifact, and thus bind and destroy it." She prepared for the final part of the ordeal.
"Samael of Abaddon, fire aspect of Tiamat, be ye bound by the most Holy Lord!"DERP!

This... Might hurt... As much as having half my soul ripped away would...
Not totally recognising what Morgan was saying, bu knowing enough that she was drawing the demon out of him, Lucius bit his lip as he stopped dusting himself off... Then again, it wouldn't do much good, his t-shirt was torn at the back, so he'd need to change it soon enough.
I never thought we'd part so soon Samael... Parting is such sweet sorrow is it not?
I only regret that I could never make good on my promise hume-boy!
That's master to you now demon.
A weak-willed fool like you will never be my master! Not you, or that pathetic God Christians worship! I am a fragment of a God, with the power of a God! I am mightier than your foolish God!
That's where you're wrong... I have no God.
Seeing the demon's mental confusion as it faded away, Lucius' mental self smiled... Things were going to get spacious inside his mind again... Outside his mind, he could see the demon as an orb... A simple fiery orb, being drawn towards the gold cross by a narrow strand of mystical light.
Nooooooo! I will not be held subservient to a fool like your pathetic God!
"I'd tell you to go back to Hell, but I don't think you came from Hell as a Christian would know it..."
Gritting his teeth thanks to the spiritual and mental pain of the seperation of himself from his host, Lucius found his right arm moving before he could even think about where it was, let alone stop it... A flash of silver indicated his dagger was out, and another flash had it in the air... It was suspended between the orb and the cross before the teen could even register that it had even gone into his hand...
"What in the?"
Instead of being pulled into the gold cross, the demon was sucked into the silver weapon. Without even needing to finish the ritual to bind it to the weapon, the silver was acting like a natural magical ward and trapping the demonic form of Lucius' former literal soul-mate.
"... I can't say I was expecting that to happen... My arm moved by itself..."
A sudden thought crossed Lucius' mind... If the demon was out of his body, did that mean...? He didn't test to see if his hand no-longer set fire to things at a touch, since it wasn't the best time or place to try it...

Morgan was happy; her plan was working. Soon, she wouldn't have to worry about the demon anymore, and could finally concentrate on her relationship with Lucius. The demon would finally be bound and wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else.
A flash of silver. A dagger flying through the air. The dagger stopped before the cross. The blade pointed towards the ground, so that it almost resembled a cross itself. The demon was locked away in it. Morgan knitted her brows together. Was this supposed to happen? Did it matter?
She felt faint, and quickly finished the spell. Dora and Mondlied kept her from burning her mind out, but it was close. The dagger clattered to the stone floor of the crypt, pulsing redly. Morgan had really expended too much energy. Sweat poured from her, erasing the runes on her cheeks, and making her look like a street urchin with a dirty face. She crumbled, falling the the stone as the dagger did.

“No you don’t!”
Seven steps in less than a second were covered by the former demonhost, before he went into a slide. Trapping the dagger under one foot, Lucius made sure he was under Morgan enough to catch her before she could hit the stone.
“Crazy, crazy, lovable, surprising fool... Next time you plan on doing a marathon stint in demon arts, let me know in advance will ya?”
Unsure of whether or not to laugh, cry, or smile, Lucius just held on to the girl he loved, his friend and saviour from the demon inside him... Which was when he noticed something; The glove he always kept on his right hand had come off at some point during his run and slide... But given there was no evidence of anything starting to burn, it meant he was okay. His hand was no longer the dangerous weapon it had once been.
