ooc: Continued from Dom's suicide.
It was raining. Warm drops of water falling from the Spanish clouds upon the summer grass outside the Crypt of Salazar Slytherin were drenching Talon as he placed the body of the Lycan student, Dom Deloni, onto a heap of logs. The boy now had a white shroud around his body, a covering given to him by the Headmaster before his funeral. The shroud had been soaked in oil so that the body would burn better, and there wouldn't be any problems involved.
The boy had been through so much hardship and horror, a funeral worthy of a hero was the least the Headmaster could give him.
Shortly after finding the boy's corpse in the Lake, he had sent word to Grandpa Deloni to inform him of his grandson's passing, but apparently the Grandfather had believed the boy long since dead. Killed by a Lycan or some sort. Talon didn't know what to do if the own family didn't want to accept the boy had only just recently died, so he went with what the old students and Headmasters did, back in the days when the Ministry was weak and war was always at the doorstep.
He had sent word to all of the people on Dom's death note - his old friend Orca, the two Head students, and Slytherin Prefect Thomas Lucre. He also sent word to Ravenclaw Prefect Morgan Pendragon informing her of the boy's passing, but he wasn't sure if she would want to attend the funeral. He didn't know if the two were friends or not. The Headmaster stood back away from the logs, sighing as he waited to see if anyone else would come to say goodbye to Dom, even in death, or whether he would be viewing this funeral alone.
