Voices called out to her in the empty darkness. All Alana really wanted to do was roll back over and snuggle deeper into the soft blankets of her bed at the inn near Drakbrough, but Gods they were persistant. Outside, I want to go outside. Feel the air and smell the life around you. It was the voices that had led her to Spain in the first place; so it was they which pulled her into the warm night air under the radience of a full moon. She always listened to what they told her.
The pale young woman wrapped a light black shawl around her shoulders and grabbed her wand from her chest of drawers...just in case. If it was one thing Alana always relied on, it was her insticts. And tonight they told her magic was going to happen. Powerful magic. She tip-toed her way down the stairs and past the loudly snoring innkeep out into the street and began to walk in the direction which pulled her. It wasn't long before the houses and shops lining the cobblestone road melted into great ancient trees and low shrubbery.
Alana's mind wasn't focused on where she was going until she noticed the cobbles under her feet had given way to soft grass a few hundred thoughts behind her. She was in an area of the town she had never been before. Actually, she wasn't quite sure where she was until a large white slab of rock loomed out in front of her. Her feet made barely a sound as they crossed the space between her and the crypt of Salazar Slytherin. Alana gently drew the tips of her fingers across the lid of the resting place and felt a cold shiver slide down her spine. The low murmur of the voices in her head had all but silenced themselves. Is this where she was ment to go tonight? But what phenomenon of magic was to happen here of all places, so close to the university?
